I have eaten Indian food all over Southern california and even in SF.

This is hands down the best Indian food you will find in Southern California.

My girlfriend had a bad experience with Indian food and never wanted to try it again, she was not impressed and was just disappointed.

After convincing her to try this place out (it would have been both of our first time at Koyla) she was blown away and she is now obsessed with Indian food.

We have always been served by Kaur, she always provides the best service and makes you feel like you are the most important customer.

They are humble, attentive and the food is always top tier and consistently amazing. I'd give this place 10 stars if I had the option.

I ordered tandoori chicken and it was within 1 hour of closing and did ask them "if you don't have fresh tandoori, I would understand I ll appreciate the honesty"

They said they'll make it fresh

It was NOT fresh

The place is slightly more classy than most other Indian restaurants. Dark ambient lighting and jazz music. Sometimes they do play soothing Indian music.

The service is more attentive than others. They make sure you get the service you wanted without annoying you.

The price point slightly higher by a dollar or two, but reasonable for the overall what you are getting.

The food itself isn't bad, I felt I had better. I would rate the taste in the 70 percentile. The butter chicken sauce was exquisite. A little heavy on the tomato side. The chicken is sliced in 1/8" strips approximately. The meat is somewhat tender; fresh foe sure. The portion is good, but i wish I had more sauce to go with the nann, roti, or rice.

Overall. It's a place you should give it a try. I give it a solid 4.1 out of 5.

Chicken was very tender.

Goat with sauce was good too, a little gamey.

I personally prefer mild,so medium spicy is a bit of overpowering for me.

Their naan is just bread. Very No flavor.
Tandoori paneer looked good but again no flavor and it was only garnished with onions. No tandoori vegetables mixed in.

Only good thing was their samosa.

So delicious. food is so so good, so flavorful. service was amazing, everyone was very friendly. Portions are good (Was given way more but just made myself a little plate)

Hadn't been here in years! Was so great to come back for lunch on a Sunday. They apparently don't have the lunch buffet on the weekends, so we ordered a la carte. My daughter got the fish tikka masala, I got the butter chicken, we also got palak paneer and got it spicy--it was definitely spicy! We shared rice, naan and an appetizer. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our server was very nice and attentive. The place was quiet and had nice decor. We will definitely be back!

Food was absolutely delicious full of flavor and just the right spice. Great textures, not oily. Dal tasted homemade for sure... Very fair prices and friendly service. I ordered for pick up three different dishes and it was ready within about 15 minutes. Each dish is enough to serve 2 to 3 people, can't wait to go back!

Amazing quality food, great servings and decent prices. Can't be beat so happy I have a new go to Indian food place
