Cameron S., Business Owner3 years agoQ:
In regards to a private party on Saturday @5, how long do we have to play and eat? Are there any discounts towards alcoholic drinks sold at the event?
A:
You would have the entire play center from 5pm-7pm to play and 1 1/2 hours at the party tables. We don't have any kind of standard discount on beer and wine for parties. If you wanted to have an open tab we could discuss a discount on beer and wine… more

Place is fun! BUT!!!!
Negotiated the lower rate and at the end of the session I was charged double! $549
I took my own cupcakes. Only 2 extra kids , siblings came. But that did not warrant $200 extra .
Bummed and mad about this!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Great creativity opportunities. Our grandsons are 5 & 7 and they were totally engrossed in the various "pretend" venues. And they loved the giant slides and bouncy room!

This place is great!! I brought my 9 month old to see if we would potentially use this place for his birthday party. There's not a whole lot of places in Denver that will cater towards infants and young toddlers so this was a good find. It's geared for eight and under. It's kind of hidden behind a shopping strip, but if you follow the signs, there's adequate parking in the back.
When you first walk in, they have all manner of toys that you can purchase as well as a ton of cubbies for shoes and personal items.
For my son and I, it was $17 so not crazy expensive and there is a lot for kids to do here. There is a tumbling area that has a bunch of foam block that has various play houses with slides, bouncy houses for both bigger and smaller kids and more. I will also note it has a 4 and under area for little ones to play away from the bigger kids.
It also has themed sections such as a school, laundromat, a construction site, a veterinary clinic, a fire house and a kitchen to name a few. All come with various toys for that area.
There are also tables in the back for parties as well as all manner of snacks and some alcoholic drinks for mommas and papas.
It is as clean as a toddler play place can be. There are icky bins, sanitization stations for toys that have been stuck in mouths and such. I did see them cleaning the toys in those bins frequently.
Overall it's a great place definitely worth the money and I'll be backHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

My kids have always had such a great time here (4 years old and 2 years old). I love seeing them in their 'creative play' element as they take care of babies, do the laundry, buy them groceries, etc. There's so much to do here and we've spent time in all the different rooms and areas. We always end our visit with getting a few snacks and juice boxes, and enjoying them in the snack area. Everything is reasonably priced!
I did bring my nephews here (8 and 6 years old) twice and will say that they were a bit too old for Kids Wonder. They spent most of the time on the bounce houses but then they were wreaking havoc in the kids' areas by throwing food all over the place and chasing each other around with the blue noodles from the building area. They were 'bored' and that was their way of entertaining themselves. I felt they were ruining it for the younger kids and won't be bringing them again. Haha.
The staff were so patient and kind, so I was grateful for that! They were constantly cleaning and never made us feel bad for the huge mess they were making (I helped clean too!).Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

This is a really great place to bring kids on a hot summer day. There are many different spaces for kids to explore, be creative, and be active. It's definitely a place to easily spend 2 or 3 hours. There is free wifi, and I often see parents doing some work while the kids explore. Everything is clean and the staff sanitizer items regularly.

Such a cool spot to bring your kids, have a play date or host a bday party. Be aware, it is pretty busy early morning on weekends. It was no issue for us to get in as well. Lots of stations for a variety of age ranges up to 10. Price for 2 adults and 1 crawler was $18. Not bad!

Hi Aubrie, Glad to see you guys coming in every day again and that we have been able to work out the sock issue.
Jun 17, 2023Previous reviewWe use to go all the time but had to stop because my son is autistic and does not like anything on his feet. There are no exceptions to the sock rule (even if I washed his feet with wipes or in the bathroom). I got told too many times that my son needs to wear socks, which I understand but with special needs children (my child isnt the only one) there should be more understanding.
Most of the staff is nice. However, the last time I was there the new woman had an attitude, which just turned me away for good. She definately wasnt friendly and seemed annoyed by kids being kids (not talking about my kids). She was just having an attitude with some parents and didnt seem interested in her job. I guess I am spoiled with really good staff so this was different than what I was use to. There were a few comments from other mothers (under our breaths) about her. Maybe she was just having a bad day or really stressed but I havent been back. Other moms had a few words too.
The birthday parties are fun. We have thrown our fair share. They are a really good price for all you get too! It was great that I got to actually enjoy my kids party and not have to work. I loved it. They do it all! I didnt have to do one thing for the parties except enjoy! We sure enjoyed and we had friends throw parties too and every partt we had there or a friend had was hands down the best. I would love to have more parties there but due to a special needs child and the strict rules we can no longer attend.
This place is so convienent and so close to my home, which made for super easy outings. We use to basically live there and I do miss it but cannot bring myself to go back after several negative experiences.
Positives:
Place is super clean, which I love. The other places we have been going to are nowhere as nice, fun and clean as kids wonder.
Kids wonder has allowed me to bring in my own food (just enough) allergy free, for my autistic child, which I was very thankful for.
The owner is funny and really nice. Shes great with kids and really build a wonderful business. The managers are nice and she hired a super wonderful gay guy who is just amazing with the kids and parents. Hes probably their best employee. Everyone really likes him.
I love kids wonder because my kids are SAFE there! It is the only place I actually feel safe with 3 little kids running in all direcrions. The staff (most, with the exception of 1) is really attentive and they really care for children. If a child gets lost there are cameras all over and the staff has a solid routine to make sure every child is found and safe.
I love that there is a snack bar. My kids are bottomless pits! All food is allergy friendly, which is great because my kids have allergies. The owner really thought of every way to protect kids.
They have a toystore and of course we go crazy with it but the toys are actually really good quality. One time I bought a toy and when I took it out of the box it fell apart (never happened before and I was shocked). Kids wonder immediately replaced it the next time I went back. They have books too!!!!!
Out of all the places we have been going to due to the sock and sensory issues none compare to kids wonder. Absolutely hands down kids wonder is the best. There is literally no comparassion to other places. They are organized, attentive, clean and really (for the most part) care about your child. They trewt every child like they would their own.
My autistic 3y old got lost once. We were attending a friends birthday party there and my 3y old ran off. It was pretty chaotic with everyone coming and going and he slipped away. I immediately alerted staff. The manager was on that night as well and priority was finding my son. No one got checked in until my son was found. The little stinker knew exactly where he was and he ran inside and into a bounce house. Due to the cameras we found him in seconds! Its just such a relief knowing there are tons of security measures put into place.
The staff actually does their job and they work. Other places the staff checks us in and thats it. They dont really seem to care about their job. At kids wonder this is not the story. The staff actually busts it and they work really hard.
Downsides:
I stated before. My son is autistic and just refuses to wear anything on his feet. I would love my kids to keep going there because of all the positives but we simply cant due to this issue. I completely understand being clean and respect that. Kids wonder truly is safe and very very clean but this sock issue and even wearing indoor shoes, is just impossible. Its a huge battle during the winter so we hardly get outside winter months.
One new staff member has an attitude but I dont even know if shes there anymore. Its been forever since Ive been. - May 3, 2023
I'm a fan of Kids Wonder, there's so much for littles to do, use their imagination and be creative. I do like that there's only 1 price and hands can be stamped for re-entry the same day. There are some snacks available for purchase. Unfortunately outside food isn't allowed. I would recommend this place is better for younger kids, 1-5 as it may not be challenging enough for older kids. (Kids 8 and younger only).

I've been to this location and had a fine experience. However, a friend is visiting from Arizona and I recommended she and her neurodivergent daughter come here since they claimed to be welcome to children of all needs. Upon reading recent reviews, I'd be embarrassed to send her to an establishment that doesn't meet kids where they are and take into account unique needs. Being a parent is hard enough, I don't want to support establishments that make it harder.

We welcome all children into Kids Wonder, and have had many conversations with parents of special needs children to understand how we can work with them to provide a fun and safe environment for their child. We encourage parents to discuss any concerns with the manager on duty.

This is a great place to take your toddler and older kids to during inclement weather. It is air conditioned inside and there are a ton of activities to entertain the kiddos. It's probably best suited for walking toddlers and older but there's also a play area for crawlers as well. My little guy really likes the pretend play areas and the bounce castles. He can spend hours here. They have bigger bounce castles for the bigger kids. My guess is 8-9 might be the max age that would be entertained here?
I like that they don't allow shoes in the play area. And there's an area for snacking and parties.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
