Quality for the price. Unfortunately, the service was poor enough to drive me away for good. I feel that I was profiled early on and was not given adequate attention because I am youngish and came wearing athletic ware. I had to seek out an employee who was sitting in one of the chairs.
I was pointed to the corner to shop on my own and paid zero attention after that point. Meanwhile a man in his 50s/60s entered, was greeted at the door, and had the assistance of a store representative as he browsed. Came in to get updated measurements - even with two other customers in the store, was given great service and taken care of promptly. Gary (think that was his name) was awesome and you can tell he's a pro. Great experience

DO NOT RENT A TUX FROM
JOS BANKS. My sons Vera wang tux rental arrived and the jacket was too large, thin fabric, cheap and nothing like the one he had tried on for fitting. The jacket hung on him terribly and was too big - they said "Oh well, that's how rentals are". We paid over $250 to rent this tux - highway robbery. The consultant actually told me that the tux looked different from the one they fitted because it had been "dry cleaned 1000 times". Perhaps it's time to trash it then instead of charging a fortune to rent something that doesn't resemble what the customer thought they were getting. I brought the tux back into the store the next morning and complained about the quality, told them my son wouldn't be wearing it and all of the above is what they told me. I asked to find a black suit and they found me a jacket with no pants and that is what I bought. So they let me drop another $200 on a black suit coat and refused to refund the rental which we were not going to wear. Don't rent anything from them! We went there specifically thinking their quality would be better than others and we couldn't have been more wrong. My order was promised Tuesday, I didn't get it until Wed.
When it arrived, the measurement was off -- a measurement that was missed during the initial measurement.
Then I drove 5 hours from my event to make it in time to return my rental, and they were closed. When I told them about this the next day, they said there was a late charge and charged me.

The customer service was outstanding! Ivan was helpful in finding me what I needed. Unfortunately because of COVID I could not try my clothes on. When I got home, the clothes did not fit perfectly. I called Ivan and by the time I arrived back, he had the correct sizes ready to go. Thanks!

I ordered a custom suit from their 1905 series. While wearing it for the second time I got a hole in the fabric of the pants. Because it was not a factory defect and instead from "normal wear and tear" they would not replace the pants.
Needless to say, the fabric is cheap and not worth the price tag associated with the suit.
When the tear occurred I reached out to Jos A Bank through their online customer portal. They told me to come into the store to have my pants assessed. So I drove 1 hour round trip for a 30 second conversation. Everything was great until I needed to make a return and/or alteration. My shirts' sleeves were too short and neck was too tight. The suit jacket had weird things going on that I didn't notice until later. I wanted to return the suit completely so I could put the credit towards a custom and the same for the shirts. First, they tried to tell me everything was fitting as it was supposed to, as if my preference of fit was wrong. Then, since I was from out of town, I was told to do it at my home store. I felt pushed out the store because they didn't want the hassle or the hit of a return or for whatever reason they said they couldn't do anything for me.
Not to mention, everything should have fit perfectly to begin with due to the MANY custom suits and shirts I've had made with Jos A Bank. I'll take some blame for being in a rush as I had a wedding to go to that day. However, I felt like there was zero empathy or willingness to work with me after the sale was made. I called my home store immediately afterwards and explained my situation. They apologized on behalf of this store and said to bring it right in when I got home.

My family came in from out of town in search for two suits. It was our first time at Jos A. Bank. Walking into the store we are shortly assisted by a consultant named Thomas M. He was off to a good start meeting our requests in seeing different colors and fits. But towards the middle of it all he disappeared for about ten minutes and upon return he mentioned that he was dealing with an emergency. Sure, things happen I can understand that. After finding the suit jackets for both my dad and brother, I became increasingly frustrated by Thomas' lack of guidance in what to expect, how the process of a fitting looked, and what happens at and after purchase. When asking questions, Thomas was dismissive and condescending, something I would not expect from a man who is trying to sell us two expensive suits! It wasn't until another young man who worked there mentioned that the pants arrive unhemmed so we would have to return to have them fitted after the suit was shipped to our house. Things started to make sense and that one interaction redeemed the store a little right before we made our leave. Regardless, I expected more from customer service. We were there for over an hour.
