Jimmy G's Bar & Grill

Jimmy G's is your typical dive bar and doesn't look like much from the outside, but their food was surprisingly good! We placed an order for pick-up on a Saturday night, and there were about 15ish people inside the bar when we picked up.

My husband was craving a Reuben, and we ordered a bunch of sides, too. The Reuben was messy and they forgot the side of fries, but it was delicious. We also enjoyed all the sides - onion rings, fried zucchini, and potato pancakes.

Jimmy G's may not be fancy, but their food is great at a great price. The wait staff is also amazing. The Pittsburger was SO good! Putting a pierogi on a burger is genius! The wings are also huge (whole wings) and cooked perfectly.

If you want to fill up on some good bar food, this is the place. Fried fish, fried shrimp, hush puppies, fried ravioli... everything fried we've ever had has been delicious! (It seems like all we order is fried apps and dinners lol). Their fried shrimp was absolutely perfect - crunchy and not overly greasy. It is a bar, with a few tables on the side, and usually only one or two people working, so sometimes it's a bit of a wait to get served, like at many bars. And it doesn't look very welcoming on the outside, walking up and opening that heavy metal door with no windows feels a bit awkward, but once inside it's a comfortable atmosphere. The food and drinks are great though!

Very good food. Reasonable prices. Everything is MTO so it takes some time to get your food but well worth the wait....

A local favorite from everyone in Canonsburg and surrounding area. Food is excellent! Steak and cheese hoagie tonight! Baked hoagie roll, light and airy, juicy, tender steak, provolone, onions, peppers,mushrooms. One of the better cheese steaks around. Side of chips make for a great dinner.

This restaurant is halfway for my boy friend and I to meet up. This was the first time we went here for dinner and it was pretty good! I had the grilled chicken salad and he had the chayenne burger. Typical bar food, but pretty good. There is smoking allowed, something that took me by surprise, but a nice local place overall.

I live minutes from Jimmy G's, so I have had their food plenty of times. However, I can only order takeout because since they allow smoking, I gotta take it home! I don't hold that against them through because the wings are that good! They also open super early, like before noon. Some people are into that! If you are a smoker and like good food and a morning beer, then Jimmy G's is for you!

Our inaugural visit was great save for the intense cigarette smoke. The Mrs. enjoyed the Steel City Burger and I enjoyed the large fish sandwich. A true dive bar and a good one but the smoke probably makes it a one and done for us. Even our clothes reeked.

Best rueben in all of Washington county!!!!! Great food, cold beer, great cooks, great bartenders.

Great place. Excellent food. The only reason they are getting a 4/5 is because their website is horrible and not up to date and the food prices are also a bit high for bar food.
