I think they're professional they take good care of your car and it always returns. Almost brand new.

Good small business. I only had some basic maintenance done on my Nissan, but the owner was friendly and courteous.

My husband and I have brought our cars here to get the windows tinted, and they've done a fantastic job. Since we live nearby, we either drop off the vehicle if they're busy or if it's been a slower day for them, we wait, and they're done pretty quickly. So far, we're delighted with the service we've gotten and will be coming back and recommending it to others.

The service I've always received at This mechanic shop is so good, that I now drive 45 mins to fix my car here because there's no one else I trust more. The service is reliable and the owner always tells you exactly what you need to do, and how much it will cost. He has never added any extra stuff that wasn't needed, or overcharged for his services.
Hands down the most trust worthy mechanic in Miami.

Story of my life, well on early Tuesday morning, I was coming out of my driveway and did not see the garbage can that my son misplaced on the street. The next thing I know, I saw my passenger side mirror dangling, what a freaking way to start my morning. I managed to find some tape inside my house and kind of fix it till I can call around to see the cost of this passenger side mirror for my 2015 Honda Crv-Ex. I called around to a lot of local Honda dealers and everyone was giving me a $400 and some change, just because it has a camera aka lane assist. When I called my dealer, (Auto nation Honda Miami Lakes) I almost had a heart attack with the cost of the part and labor almost $800.

I went on Yelp and came across Japanese Auto Tech. I advised him of the situation with the mirror and their tech (Jesus) told me he will return my call once he has the cost of everything he needed for my car. I immediately got off of work, went home and changed. I received a call from Jesus, pretty much the cost of the mirror and $90 to install it. I told him okay, and while my car is there go ahead and do my oil change because it was long overdue. Jesus gave me a call Wednesday mid-day and advised me the part had arrived. I told him I would be there first thing in the morning. I dropped off my car and within the hour my car was ready, (didn't expect such speedy service) but while doing the oil change he noticed my rear brakes were going bad. (When it rains it pours.) I asked him for the cost and the price seemed somewhat reasonable and instructed to go ahead with the job. He called me back within the hour and advised my car was ready.

Now here's the part where I'm a little upset, he is like we have a little situation, the thing with your particular car and newer Honda is that the cameras need reprogramming. We do not have the equipment to do that, but I have a tech who can take care of the situation for you. My nerves got really bad because I didn't want to hear this crazy outrageous price. I'm saying to myself, I could've taken it to the dealer in the first place. Well after talking to the tech, I was able to program my camera and a very reasonable rate. Now, I kept my cost down, and very happy with my end results. I'm really appreciative of Japanese Auto Tech and their service.

Not my first visit, nor my last,,,, trustworthy, fast work and very honest about repairs. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Please don't go to this workshop. Those people never found the problems in my vehicle. They don't like inspect the vehicle properly. My car was with the head gasket leaking with lot of vibration in engine idle low rpm, they never fix my car because they never knew what is going on.

They charge for inspection but be careful because they have not the right tools to do a properly inspection right well.

Please think twice if you want to repair your vehicle in this workshop.

Honestly guys I was there and my vehicle was in good chape before they touch my car. After that my car was in a very bad moment

I hadn't washed my car since I purchased it, 4 months prior. And this was during rainy, threat-of-hurricanes-looming season, so my white whale was practically grey. Plus, I had un-strategically parked under many trees, so the sap and bird crap was an art form.

The brave men of Japanese Auto Tech waved me into the car washing port when I arrived at 8am in the morning, and had it spic and span (inside and out) by the time I had to get to work. All for $12 and a generous tip.

I will be coming back. Eventually.

I'm new to the Miami area and have had my 99' Civic serviced 3 times at Japanese Auto Tech over the past 6 months.

-First visit:
I had a rattling sound for weeks when my car sat idle. It ended up being the catalytic converter shield, which they removed free of charge. I offered to tip for the service because I was so grateful it wasn't something more serious and I was shocked that they did it for free and super fast.
-Second visit:
The engine was making a super loud (and embarrassing) screech when I accelerated. They ended up replacing and servicing the engine belts-for a very reasonable price and very quick service.
-Third visit:
Went for a general checkup. Was informed that brake pads and disks will need to be replaced within the next 3-4 months but no immediate repairs were needed. Again they did not charge me anything, but asked that I return when I'm ready for the bigger repair. (Which I certainly will)

The other customers I've met while in the waiting room have been going to Japanese Auto Tech for years (which generally is a positive sign with mechanics). I find it logical and refreshing when a business understands giving a fair service and rate for small repairs. In turn, a customer is more likely to recommend their service (as I have) and return for the "big investment repairs."
