Upon my recent layover at Salt Lake City International Airport, I had the pleasure of experiencing the Jamba Juice shop for the first time, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise during my waiting time for the connecting flight. As a tropical drink enthusiast, I couldn't resist trying their large Caribbean Passion Smoothie, and it truly lived up to its name. The blend of pear, white grape, mango, and orange passion juice, combined with the zing of orange sherbet, strawberries, and peaches, was a tropical symphony of flavors that transported me to a paradise getaway.
What struck me the most was the impeccable blending technique--each sip was a harmonious fusion of the finest ingredients, resulting in a velvety smooth consistency. The service was outstanding; the staff's friendly demeanor and efficiency added a warm touch to my brief airport visit. The shop's ambiance provided a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to unwind amidst the hustle and bustle of travel.
The Caribbean Passion Smoothie's burst of fruity goodness and the overall experience at Jamba Juice left a lasting impression, making my layover not just tolerable, but truly enjoyable. Kudos to the team for delivering a great service, maintaining a fantastic ambiance, and creating a smoothie that exceeded all expectations.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Feb 10, 2023
We stopped by this Jamba for coffee and breakfast before boarding our flight in Concourse A at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). This is the only Jamba inside the airport and I thought it was OK. The food and drink served its purpose.
This Jamba is located next to Gate A12. At SLC, Concourse A is just one long straight shot, so it's easy to navigate. Around 8:50am on an ordinary Sunday, the concourse was busy and this Jamba had a small line. The wait was short, unlike other chains I've seen at American airports around the same time of day (e.g., McDonald's, Starbucks).
Here's what we picked up:
* Bold N Cold Brew with Sweet Cloud Whip (medium, $5.49) - cold brew, ice, coconut milk, sweet cloud whip foam, agave (211 mg caffeine)
* PB + Banana Protein (whey) smoothie (small, $6.99) - reduced-fat milk, bananas, peanut butter, whey protein, honey
* Classic Sausage, Egg + Cheese breakfast sandwich ($4.29) - sausage, egg, sprouted grain bun, white cheddar
While nothing was bad, nothing was great either. The "Bold" cold brew wasn't bold. It didn't taste like real coffee. We ended up throwing most of it away. It wasn't worth bringing on the plane, so that was disappointing. Also, medium was the smallest size the staff could offer us at the time. I'm not sure why - they didn't tell us. Jamba does offer a small version of the cold brew, but I know selection and inventory can vary by location.
The PB + Banana Protein smoothie was alright; it was palatable. We've had much better. It wasn't very flavorful. Unlike the coffee, however, I finished it.
The Sausage, Egg + Cheese sandwich was smaller than we expected, but at $4.29 at an airport (inexpensive), I can't say I was surprised. The "sprouted grain bun" was like a ciabatta roll. My wife said she would've preferred something like a biscuit or croissant instead, but I thought it was fine. For me, the sandwich did the job and was tasty and satisfying enough.
I'd come back to this Jamba again, if needed.

We love jamba juice! We travel almost twice to three times a month cause of flight benefits. We always get jamba if we're at the airport but today service was so bad!! I didn't see her name but she seems to have a higher position than the other people working today cause she is the only one with name tag and wearing a different uniform. She is the cashier working today. She seems to be unhappy working and doesn't talk nicely to customer no respect at all.
People who works at a customer service should always be presentable, nice, warm and welcoming even if you have personal problems!
I work in the industry too and Im always nice to people even if they aren't. People like this shouldn't work in this industry and she is the one in the front, first person people are talking to who should be welcoming and greeting people. Won't be coming back or buying if she's the cashier!
Ambiance was fine but over all disappointed with the service that I had to post a review....Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cee J.Old Seminole Heights, Tampa, FL942846May 18, 2023
Located next to A12 in SLC, the store had no line, service was great, and my drink came quick, just as I ordered, and well done. Though the walk to find this place took forever, it was worth it.

This is my favorite spot when I'm traveling. I always get a smoothie bowl before I get on the plane. For some reason this one was not as tasty as bowl I had on the past. Hopefully next time I'll try something different.

Was very disappointed by this jamba. Service was slow and chaotic. Employees were standing around drinking their drinks while cups piled up, one kept taking sips and then continuing to work with no gloves on. I waited for a solid twenty minutes before they realized they forgot my smoothie and had to remake it.

They are open as I speak, 6:30 in the morning, no one else in line, but manager says they are understaffed and won't make a smoothie. When asked why not there is no one else here but me, I'm told if I walk around with it others will see it and might want to buy a smoothie. Wish I could give them a zero. Hey franchise owner, you need to fire this manager lol.

Jamba Juice is a staple and consistent-I frequently enjoy it for breakfast when I take a morning flight out of SLC.
A couple points to consider:
* Being that this is an airport property, the prices are a bit higher than you would see in another location. They charge for the add-ins, even the ones that are free elsewhere.
* It's always got a line. Utah travelers like their fruity juice.
* Service is fast, but not necessarily friendly.
Overall, the drinks that I've ordered have been consistent, which I appreciate. The good old standard!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
