An amazing covered bridge is nearby.
This is a very peaceful area in Conyers. I took a nice Sunday drive just to see the covered bridge. Harrolson Mill Bridge, is a beautiful covered bridge nearby this area.
I got out to take pictures and to hike the trail that was on the other side of the bridge.

This is also a nice sized little park but not as huge as the other one I frequent. Fishing space is ok but is also sort of limited to a degree unless you have a boat of course.

Rockdale County's Black Shoals Park at Randy Poynter Lake is located in north Rockdale and includes areas for picnicking, hiking, and a 650-acre reservoir. Randy Poynter Lake is a great place for fishing, boating and canoeing. A fishing pier, bank fishing and a boat ramp are available, as well as a picnic pavilion. Randy Poynter Lakes serves as the community's drinking water reservoir, therefore, no swimming or gasoline motors are allowed. Electric, sail, row, or man-powered boats are the only vessels allowed. All boats must be off the water at least 30 minutes before the park's closing.

You have to pay per person! Not per car but per person to fish. The lake is not that nice. Not worth it.

Really nice lake. Didn't go to fish. Just to enjoy the weather. Was really windy. But the sun was out so it felt amazing

Nice area to fish. Water was clean. Only problem I stayed about 3 hours without a bite. Maybe I'll try again sometime.
