Illianos pizza

This small, family operated spot is located in the sprawling strip center anchored by Lowe's Foods. It has been around for well over 10 years now, and apparently it has had a few changes in ownership during that time. The interior has about seven booths and eight two-seat tables - the place is clean and bright.

The menu is rather extensive for such a small place. With a strong Italian lean that includes pizza, strombolis, calzones, and pasta dishes. There are some Mediterranean choices as well - stuffed grape leaves, gyro, chicken souvlaki, shawarma, and falafel.

I ordered the small Italian Stromboli ($12.99) and the 1/2 pound Homemade Cheeseburger($9.99, comes with FF). This is not a fast food restaurant - took right at 20 minutes for the order to come out.

Both items were simply awful. The burger was definitely not fresh ground, hand patted or homemade, in fact the texture and taste reminded me of the "pressed mystery meat" usually found only in school cafeterias.

The Stromboli followed the same pattern - none of the prepackaged meat had any semblance of either freshness or desired texture. The small gray disks (supposed to be Italian sausage) were the worst of breed - simply inedible.

I can recommend nothing about this place. The food items were dreadful, the gentleman at the register that took my order was gruff to the point of being surly.

Definitely will not try this place again!!!!

This was our first visit to Illianos Pizza. My wife ordered their daily special: Philly Cheese Steak with onion rings. I ordered an Italian Stromboli. My wife loved her dinner. For her tastes, it had the perfect amount of beef, cheese, onions, peppers and tomato's. The onion rings were hot, crispy and tasty. The Italian roll was soft for my taste. I would have preferred a crustier roll. The Stromboli was good and was served with extra pizza sauce for dipping. The restaurant seating is basic with six booths and two table that served six diners. The cashier did a good job of treating diners who arrived to pick up take out orders and those choosing to eat in. The prices for dinner ranged from $13 to $25 per person. Their menu is huge with offerings in these categories: Pizzas, chicken wings, hot / cold subs, cheeseburgers, sandwiches, Pasta, strombolis, calzones, chicken entrees and fish entrees. On our next visit here, my wife and I plan to order a hot sub.

The menu here is extensive. Sicilian pizza, strombolis, calzone, pastas, subs, New York style pizza, and even hamburgers. I can only speak for a couple of their pizzas.

The Margherita pizza may be one of the best Margherita pizzas I have ever had. This was damn good. 5 stars.

The New York style Meat pizza was more like 3 1/2 stars. What I found interesting was the crust difference between the Margherita and Meat. The Meat pizza's crust was thicker for some reason.

I did enjoy both pizzas and would have no problem recommending this place and ordering from them again.

Service was good, however pizza was burned, very tough to eat. This is the second time ordering and probably the last.

Illiano's Pizza delivered food to my hotel. The pizza was not bad. Not great, but not terrible either and after a long day on the road, it was good to have dinner in my hotel room.

Yes they are open during this restaurant shutdown. Be sure to order delivery from them and support the business. Doordash will deliver the food to you!

Great pizza. We grabbed a bite driving to Asheville and at outside under the tree. Nice little spot.

This small Italian spot in Clemmons just off the interstate has great pizza! We ordered the family special which is 2 XL pizzas, 25 wings, and a 2 liter drink for $41.99. The pizza was great! The sauce had the perfect flavor and the crust was the perfect thickness. The wings were good, I would not say great but I am somewhat chalking that up to the medium flavor I chose. I will definitely be back to try more dishes as they do have many options on their menu. The location is not far off of interstate 40 in the Lowe's Food shopping center.

Just moved to the area and it's always hard to find good pizza, but WE DID IT! This restaurant is pretty close to authentic New York pizza made with real ingredients. We ordered carry out pizza and French fries and the employee on the phone was so efficient they get 5 stars just for that! The food was hot and ready when we arrived in 15 minutes and I really couldn't expect more out of this experience

I ordered delivery to a park this weekend. The pizza was soooooo good and everything was hot like straight from the oven. I'm so glad I found this place and plan on making this my go-to pizza takeout. Also, the owner is incredibly nice and took the time to answer all my questions.
