IHOP

We decided to stop at IHOP on Saturday around Noon for lunch and thankfully we were seated right away. The restaurant overall was very clean. Our server was Kaleisha and she was absolutely amazing and extremely friendly. We started with some coffee and she grabbed it for us right away with some waters as well. Since my boyfriend and I were both craving breakfast for lunch, I ordered the Breakfast Sampler and he decided on the 2x2x2 which included 2 eggs, 2 bacon and 2 pancakes (not pictured).

The food didn't take too long to come out but it didn't taste very well. Both of our eggs had a weird taste to them (could've been the added cheddar cheese) and the hash browns tasted as if some type of chemical was sprayed on them and unfortunately were burnt underneath. I absolutely love hash browns and I couldn't even eat them all. The ham served with the meal was very dry (I only took one bite) but the sausage and bacon were pretty good and the pancakes were good as well.

I used to love going to this IHOP but it seems like the food at this location is unfortunately getting worse. I probably will continue to go to this location since it's so convenient, I just hope things improve.

The food was delicious and came out nice and hot. Tasted great. I'm giving three stars simply because the place was nasty. Floors needed mopped and swept badly from the time we arrived to the time we left. The store was pretty dead the entire time. Only one other person here having some coffee.

The service was good, she came to us quickly and was very attentative to our needs.

One star accurate. Staff is trying but not organized. Took long time to get our take out. Did not have change to give. It is a shame and maybe a sign of the times but obliviously understaffed.

Not helping things on a Sunday is the debit card machine was down. Not a pleasant experience at all. Told them to keep the change just to get out of there.

It's a mixed bag. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. Clean nevertheless and the food is alright, but the service is what's so-so.

Overall a very good experience. Waitress spilled our drinks on herself and never came back to bring us fresh ones. The waiter that took over was dynamite. He suggested menu items and was full of joy which was delightful to experience.

We waited 5 minutes at the hostess stand, nobody came by to seat us so we took a look around the dining area and didn't see anyone, so we left. By the way, this same issue happened to us at the IHOP location on First Colonial.

I'll start by saying the waitress was nice and friendly.
The service was slow and the restaurant was understaffed which led to a 1 hour wait for food. Then my food I ordered was out but it took 20 minutes to find out to order something else. When some of the food showed up my wife found hair in her food. Next my food was poorly cooked some sections raw others near burnt. 3 out of the five of us began feeling nauseous and unsettled stomachs. I now understand why this location is never crowded.

My wife and I went on a weekday for breakfast. Was told to please have a seat and someone would be with us to seat us. Waited 10 min and looked around. There were only 2 tables occupied in the entire restaurant. A party of 2 and 4. Waited another 10 then just left. Even if they are short staffed one server and chef should be able to cover 3 tables. This was my 2nd time giving this location a try. The first time I ordered 2 omelets to go and took almost 2 hrs to get our food. It doesn't even take that long to get an oil change. What a shame because this is a prime location. Either the staff needs an overhaul or it needs to come under new management.

They're supposed to be open at 0600, app allowed me to place a pick up order, now it's 0630 the doors are all locked. So disappointed that they can't get help here to make it a great spot to stop

Wife and sister in law had dinner at IHOP tonight. They saw a rat run across the wall while they were eating. That's about as bad as it gets.
Very disappointing.
Others saw it too.
