Hudson Brothers Truck Accessories

I called regarding availability to put a tonneau on my pickup truck. The man on the phone had a bit to be desired in regards to manners - he sounded rushed, not enthused to be on the phone, and the impression he gave off was that I was keeping him from doing more important things than talking to a prospective customer.

My truck is a *very* standard model, and they advertise that they (using Stowe Cargo tonneaus) can install tonneaus that fit certain models; despite that, he was extremely vague and evasive about the ability to even find the right tonneau, even more vague as to how long it would take to install. Honestly, if you have any experience in installing anything, and you're asked to put in something common that you should have seen many times, it shouldn't be hard to state 'yes/no, I think/don't think I can do that' and 'it should take around ____ minutes/hours.'

Needless to say, this conversation did not inspire confidence in this customer. I'll take my business elsewhere.

After retiring from the military and busting family in the area, I walked in and meet Tony. He gave a honest quote for a bed liner and B&W hitch. We were able to get in and have our F-450 lined and we were able to get on the road shortly after.

Have purchased 2 bed covers from Hudson Brothers for 2 trucks over the last 5 years. Called them yesterday as I needed replacement latches for one of the covers and was told they are under warranty and YES we have the latches for my model number in stock. I drove over an hour this morning only to be told the latches were not in stock and that they seriously doubted my recollection of the phone call just 16 hours earlier. Basically called me a liar to my face!
Needless to say I'll never do business with them again based on the arrogant ass that called me a liar. Nor do I recommend anyone deal with this company.
THANK YOU to Leonard Truck Accessories in West Columbia for coming to the rescue. Not only did they have the latches in stock, they were cordial and even installed the latches immediately. Glad to know there are still reputable businesses in the Lexington/W. Cola area although Hudson Bros. is not one.
