Hoops Cafe

Hoops Cafe, has a solid variety of wings. Jamaica me sweet is a perfect combanation of heat and sweet. Sweet and sour was a bit odd, but the 4 of us enjoyed them. The Ragin Cajun was my personal favorite. I thought the spicy ranch were gross. In general I am not a fan of dry rub wings, but Desert Sand, my friend order were pretty good and were his favorite.

This is our usual wing place. They're always very good. I like the golden dragon, saloon girl, and Ragin Cajun sauces. Their pulled pork bbq and club sandwiches are also excellent. Con: The building has seen better days. I think they're still open for curb side pickup only.

We've gotten take out here a few times recently and it has been delicious! We never tried hoops pre-pandemic, so we've never gone in (curbside only right now). The curbside service is fast and friendly. Food is always hot and fresh. We've had the wings, chicken tenders, fries, and the Cluckin Good One. That flatbread sandwich is delicious!!

So the atmosphere dining-in isn't for everyone I guess, and I recognize that, but to me there's something enjoyable about the best wings in the world at an unassuming dive bar. My favorite flavor sauce is the "southern belle". Recommend entirely, if you're in Fairmont this is a necessary experience.

Great wings and great sides to go with them. Decent beers on tap and super friendly people. Sort of a dive bar, but with excellent food.

Great food at reasonable prices. Any sandwich makes 2 normal sized meals. BEST wings around here.

The Jamaica me sweat is my favorite if you ask they will give it to you on the side i can eat it with anything. Great salads the blackened salmon is my fav and also have good beer on tap and in bottle....

I am a currently a college student at Fairmont State. When I was in high school at Fairmont Senior, this was the absolute best hangout spot to chill out with friends and enjoy some great food. My friends and I would frequent Hoops at least once or twice a week. Unfortunately, that has changed drastically. My main issue with Hoops is how the service has changed within the past 2 or 3 years. The staff used to be super friendly and would make you feel welcome, even engaging in conversation at times. Every time I go there now, I get the same young waitress and she is extremely rude. You now also have to pay for each refill as they no longer have fountain drinks.

I still to this day stand by my opinion that Hoops Cafe' has the absolute best tasting wings in the world. Although, the dining experience just isn't the same anymore.

If there was an option to give no stars it would have been chosen. The wings were burnt and not to mention the long piece of blonde hair was in my fries... I brought this to the waitress and her reply was "nobody that works here has blonde hair", no apology or an attempt to make the situation right!! The waitress was extremely rude!!! Please think twice before visiting this so called cafe...
