The food was so good my crab legs was cold so they did them again. When they came out the second time pure perfection!

The restroom could use a little cleaning.

The service was a little slow. We were here for my friend's birthday.

I'm visiting from Los Angeles and the DJ was FIRE!!!!

      Over all great night

Come during the week, earlier in the day and you won't be disappointed! I feel like when I come on the weekend or during busy times the food is mid.

But when I came during a not so busy hour!!! The boil was delicious, hot, and flavorful!

This location definitely having issues. All you can eat, 20% off coupons, all gimmicks. The service sucks. The food is disappointing.

The mussels were so small Friday, they were the size of a pea.

Go up the hill to West Orange.

The restaurant being quite empty on a Friday afternoon should have been a red flag but I figured with so many eating establishments on rte 22 maybe people wanted something other than seafood. Service was okay, the waiter was attentive to our needs though he forgot to give us the basic equipment you should receive when eating a seafood boil.

The food was of low quality. My son's oysters were not fresh. Both of us ordered the same kind of boil. The corn and potatoes were old and flavorless. The rum punch had more punch than rum. This is the first time eating at the Union restaurant and certainly my last. The West Orange restaurant provides a better overall dining experience

A unique experience! Surprisingly very good quality fish. As far as seafood restaurant chains go, Red Lobster is kind of questionable, but this tasted pretty fresh. I had a boil that had shrimp and snow crab legs. My parents had lobster and the dungeness crab and they both said it was very sweet. I suggest getting one of the sauces that is actually a sauce instead of the rub. The rub is very tasty, but the powder is not always dispersed well. I tried one of my Dad's mussels (he had the old bay rub) and there was a lot of the rub piled into it. I inhaled a bunch of powder - tasty, but it made me cough lol. The sauce seeps into the fish more. Service was slow. Our waitress was very sweet, but we often had to wait awhile and ask multiple times for the same thing. The inside is a very mild "nautical" theme. It's like any standard food chain, but with some starfish thrown on the wall. When I'm in the mood for a big fish dinner I will be back. :) ***TIP: gift cards are only for that location. Example: You can't buy a gift card at the Union location and use it at the Linden location.

Overall, this place is good. Good service and decent food. Price can be on the pricy side, and many items on the menu have M.P. I could not tell if I was changed more or less than average. We started with lobster bisque soup. Then we had Dungeons crab, mussels, and lobster tail in the cajun sauce. It was okay for two people to eat. And we did finish off with fried catfish and potato fries. Maybe fried catfish and potato fries were too much, and we took it home. The meal came out to be around 60+. So all the amount of food was a reasonable price. The server was excellent. She helped us pick items from the menu and suggested what was good. Maybe the lobster tail was an expensive little side one tail for $17? Check this place out if they are looking for good seafood in the Union area. It's in the same shopping area as home depot, Walmart, and other stores. I might come back if I am looking for seafood again. But I would skip lobster tail. The king crab was expensive, so we skipped it.

Love the food here, especially the Crab Ceasar salad and the seafood boil with Crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, and sausage with corn, potatoes and noodles. The whole family was able to share one boil with left overs!! Will definitely be back!!

I met up with one of my friends for a quick happy hour drink. When I arrived I found parking right in front. I walked in and there was no one at the hostess booth so I walked to the bar and asked if I can seat myself. The server asked if I checked in and I told her there was no one there. She kind of in an attitude said that the hostess was working along actually. She then checked and said I could sit at the bar. I don't know the young lady's name but she had curly hair and was shorter.

Greatful for my bartender Kamola (was messing up her name all night, so this might be wrong also ‍) but she was great. I ordered the margarita on happy hour and it was tasty. I loved the sugar rim because it tasted like candy. My friend ordered the shrimp basket and mango margarita and she liked her things as well. The bill was only a little over $30. Besides the beginning everything else was good.

Was feeling seafood so decided to try this place out. I know it's a chain, but never tried it. If you've been to Joe's Crab Shack you will like it here. I actually liked is better than Joes! I got the boil that came with snow crab legs (they weren't really meaty but they were tasty), shrimp (remember you have to peel it my mother freaked out a bit LOL), corn, two hard boiled eggs, and a potato. I do wish I got more potatoes because they were SO good. It soaked up all the garlic butter (that's the seasoning I got). I also got a side of sausage which was pretty good. But the shrimp and potatoes in my boil was the star of the show!
