I went up to Fallbrook today to TRY to get hold of some of the delicious, chunky Holy Guaca-Moly I remember from a past Avocado Festival. No one seemed to know where to buy the green goodness so I ended up at El Toro buying a pound of their Guac. . .not bad but I must track down the Holy Grail of Guac! I called the phone number listed on Yelp and talked with the maker himself, George.
George informed me that Holy Guaca-Moly is only sold at the "Lace Apron Bakery" on Main Street. George delivers his Guac on Tuesdays and Fridays. I called the Lace Apron Bakery on a Thursday and they had some of the Guac in stock. I would call to put in a special order or if you want to make sure they have some in stock.
The number for the Lace Apron is 760 723-1872.
There's no preservatives so the Guac must be stored in the 37 degree range. George said a store in town carried his Holy Guaca-Moly but did not keep their display case cold enough for his liking. AAaaahhh, a purist at heart.
The Holy Guaca-Moly is not cheap my frens; 8 oz. goes for $6.50.
I live in Escondido and George said, as of yet (May 2009) there's no place to buy his product in Escondido.
I now know how to score on what I remember as food of the gods.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brad S.San Diego, CA437Apr 20, 2009
Just tried this at the 2009 Avocado festival in Fallbrook this past weekend. It won the award for the best Guac at the festival.
Maybe it was just hot, or maybe it was the volume of people but the taste was inconsistent. One side of the festival had AMAZING guacamole but on the far end it was salty. Good but salty.
I know that it is a natural product and some variation is to be expected but this should have been made in the same place on the same day. Don't get me wrong I liked it - it was just not the same at both locations.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jennifer Y.San Lorenzo, CA852185263Apr 24, 2006
Had some at the Avocado Festival...
Can't really go wrong with freshly made guacamole. It was good, but I've had good guacs elsewhere too.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Wicke T.Scottsdale, AZ91154422Apr 18, 2010
went to the Avocado festival today in Fallbrook and this is the festival of all food festivals. over 75,000 people and hundreds of vendors.
This was one of the first booths when we entered and we tried it out. It tasted great but it was $7, very expensive.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Theresa T.Fallbrook, CA54216Apr 11, 2016

I have no address or phone# or even a website for the best guacamole I have ever experienced. You'll have to search it out on foot & it will be worth the effort! I first discovered Holy Guaca-Moly at an oceanfront festival. My breakfast that day was a big scoop of same, which I ate on the beach & remember vividly. This Labor Day weekend I did exactly the same thing at Fiesta Hermosa (held twice a year, also on Memorial Day). In fact, I grab Holy Guaca-Moly wherever & whenever I find it. They sell at farmer's markets all over SoCal. They have been on the Food Channel. They win tons of awards including: Fallbrook Avacado Festival - first place 4 times & second place 4 times; first place at Temecula Salsa Festival; second place awards also at Carpiteria & Bonsall Avacado Festivals. Avacado lovers......need I say more?

All the previous reviews are true. I tasted this Guac for the first time today. My children, who are suspicious of anything green, devoured the stuff. It is the best guacamole I've had in ages. You can find it at the farmer's market at Sierra Madre high school on Saturdays. I will be buying more.

5 star guacamole, 1 star attitude. Asked for a large (16 oz), they said they were out and I should get 2-8oz. At $13.00 for 16 oz and 7:00 for 8 oz it is already pricey, but it is really good guacamole. So I took 2-8oz and he said that is 14.00 for the 2. I asked don't I get the dollar off? And he laughed at me. I said you are laughing at me?... he said 14.00. I need to find a new guacamole vendor :(

I purchased a large container at the Fiesta Hermosa on Memorial Day weekend 2014. There was a LARGE junk of unripe, unedible avocado in the tub. I dismissed it as just a fluke. I went again to Fiesta Hermosa for the 2nd festival this past Labor Day weekend. I purchased a small container (for $8.00) and again there was a LARGE junk of unripe, unedible avocado. This must be done on PURPOSE as a cost savings tactic. Sometimes you don't know how an avocado will turn out when you first peel it, but they generally won't ripen further. I won't be buying from this company anymore since they won't discard the avocadoes that won't mash up for guacamole.
