Hokkaido Seafood Buffet and Grill

Still stopping here pretty much every couple weeks since I have found that the squid and shrimp are only on weekend buffets. Busier on weekendsso the food turn over is quicker = hotter food. Now of course the price is higher than weekdays.
I do enjoy the head on salt/pepper shrimp and the clams along with the squid but you gotta watch it with the clams since these are in the shell there can be some sand/grit so be weary of that. Approx. $20 with hot tea. Pics included...

If you compare photos and experiences from years ago to today, the contrast is shocking. There just isn't the same service, variety, and upkeep. The booth seats are ripped up and dirty, everything is sticky, the plates are crusty...just a lot of ick overall.

We were hoping that they still served crab (they don't), and even though they still serve sushi, there was a major problem. We got there at 8:10PM, and they close at 9:30PM. BUT they started packing up the food at 8:20PM and just stopped serving sushi altogether before the hour was up, even though there was still some left on the trays. They stopped refilling the warm entrees too. Who knows what happened to all of that food/raw fish?

It's just sad that they kept trying to seat people - most of whom saw the situation and promptly left without eating - and that customers like us paid full price for 1/3 of a buffet. It was mostly fried food and the small hibachi station, which isn't really what we come to these places for. It's not worth your $16.99, and I hope this place returns to what others describe as its former glory.

Much to chose from, mostly Chinese buffet staples (Gen Tsao''s, etc). Nice sushi selection Mongolian bbq available. Large dessert bar. Ambiance like cafeteria. Service friendly and attentive. If you're hungry and need Asian fix

Yeah absolutely not. I was so excited and wished this would have been a 4-5 star review but this place has went way down hill since I went years and years ago. I'm just going to be really honest, I love food, and this just wasn't it. I do not like calling food disgusting but I'm going to have to in this situation. I use to rave how for buffet sushi it was good, yeah no not anymore apparently. The Indian chicken is usually delicious, tasted like it was 2 days old and was *trying not to gag thinking about just how soggy it was* SOGGY mush. My husband had crab legs, cracked every single one open and the crab was shriveled up to almost DUST. The only thing good about this place was my water was always filled. Not worth $20 a person, I will never go back.

We found this place by accident and have returned several times since then. They have a wide selection of food options and we have never been disappointed with the quality and taste. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

It was a buffet style place with tons of food. You will not leave hungry. Pretty well done overall.

They need better ventilation because it gets extremely smoky from all ofthe grilling. The food is good and have several selections. The service is good.

The place was ok we went a little late and some food was put away even know they had 2 and a half hours before closing the restaurant. The employee was nice when I asked her for more macaroni. I would not pay as much but the website said crab legs and there was hardly any seafood.
