We reserved the room through the app about 30 minutes before arriving and Kathryn at the front desk had our room key and breakfast vouchers available when we arrived - we booked the room and included breakfast for a little higher fee and it was worth EVERY penny!!! Romero and his accomplished team made a FABULOUS breakfast for us!!! Angie did a great job on her first day too!!!
Another thanks goes to Angie and Romero behind the front desk. Kind, accommodating, and genuinely helpful with some extra needs we had. We will MOST CERTAINLY stay here again when the need arises. Great job all!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sandra C.Denton, TX01Feb 22, 2024
Staff is extremely rude. Refused to open my room after purposely turning off all keys. He couldn't figure out how to make a key and was angry guests had to keep coming down. Rooms are terrible.

The brand would make you think it is a safe bet. It is for the MOST part. But don't look too closely or you will see the details.
There is some work (upgrades?) being done to the hotel but it has been left to slip significantly so there's that too.
A well run hotel would never get to the point where you notice things that need repair.
The room had basic issues: over paint on the wall paper. Slight mold in the bathroom shower. Dust on picture frames. But clean beds.
Anyway I added some pictures to help get the point across about missing the details...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 12, 2022
I don't see why this hotel has so many bad reviews. It's a bit pricey, but it is clean and the location is great. They gave us a free breakfast one day. They provided us with a requested late checkout and even an early check in. Staff was friendly. Beds were comfy! They could use a pillow upgrade and a bathroom remodel, but I'd stay there again

Lets start when I first walked in to the hotel there was two employees at the front desk not one of them said a word or greeted me and my family.
Having the self check in and out was nice and convenient but it was very difficult sharing the key with my partner and the wifi was terrible. The floors in my room were dirty . The bottoms of our feet were black after walking around the carpet floors so I can tell they don't shampoo the carpets. I pulled out the couch pullout bed and under the mattress I saw rust stains from the springs. It was a very thin uncomfortable mattress for my kids. The other Queen beds were ok. Watch your legs and knees the way the edges of the bed stick out if you aren't careful you will hit your knee caps. The blinds and drapes don't close all the way so if your on the pool side of the hotel the sun will come through bright and early. The black out curtains don't cover the whole window. The ac was very loud and made a loud noise all night. Was difficult to get sleep because it was turning on and off through out the night. I noticed the pool had a green color to it so we didn't use it. I would not stay there ever again. I feel the price is not worth what they were charging.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David F.Los Angeles, CA2307Jul 27, 2023
The front desk staff needs better training. Both times I asked for something, they stared at me like they were clueless, then told me the wrong information. Like all the previous reviews state, the beds are uncomfortable and the floor is dirty which is consistent with my experience. My feet were black after walking around after a few minutes. The showers are nice though.

The hotel is nice, but we had bad service at the bar. The bartender with dark hair is sour and rude to guests. She had a scowl on her face. The food was pretty okay, but she was going on and on about the kitchen having a new cook and all the problems we didn't want to hear about. we were tryin to relax. Left a decent tip because that's the kind of person I am. It would be nice to not see a frown on a body of tattooes.

This place stinks! This place has poor customer service from the ladies that work the morning shift. The manager is even worse! It's run down and not very well kept. When you walk in the front door there is an awful smell and the room is even worse. There are too many hotel choices in New Braunfels. Don't stay here!!

Horrible service at the bar. I did not appreciate listening to the male bartender run his mouth about hi personal life the entire time I was there or the kitchen staff throw things around in the back. I just wanted a drink and some food but hearing the microwave door constantly shut I decided not to take my chances (which it wouldn't have mattered anyway since the kitchen shut down before 8:30). The prices are too high to get microwaved food. My company sends me to this location often so it is disappointing that I am unable to eat here. I may at least order drinks if the usual bartender is working but will not subject myself to the new guy again.

Another Hilton owned property disappointment! I am giving two stars be the the ladies at the front desk are extremely nice. I am only leaving this review so you are aware that the beds are not comfortable at all! So far I had great success with doubletree by Hilton and home 2 suites by Hilton. Hampton inn in hutto Texas and San Antonio are terrible. Hilton garden in in New Braunfels is run down and they need better beds!
The bed is stiff and hard as a rock. If you are looking for a comfortable bed and a good nights rest, good luck.
Comfort suites saved the day! 100.00 with tax! Extremely comfortable bed. Everyone is very helpful and nice the ac blows extremely cold.
Comfort suites 100.00
Hilton harden inn 140.00
Your choice but in my opinion comfort suites is much better!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
