Henny Penny Cupcakes

F'in Amazing son! Cupcakes are their specialty, and limited menu (soups, sand). I get the taco salad w/o olives & guac.

Don't go if you're in a hurry, esp right at noon.

Talk about hole in the wall! Doesn't get much more hope in the wall than this place.

We had the hardest time even finding it because it's so hard to see it even from the sidewalk - the signs are so discrete and small.

The food is fairly decent here though - definitely a nice home cooked feel. Great place to grab lunch and a cupcake. I got the chicken gnocchi- which I absolutely loved and would highly recommend! It came with this delicious warm homemade roll that was to die for.

My husband got the chili which we thought was much too sweet and lacked in flavor.

As for cupcakes i bought a variety and my favorite was the yellow cake cupcake with white cream cheese frosting. The chocolate cupcakes were much to rich and dense for my liking. It was like a sugar bomb and I didn't really enjoy it. However, I think their white cupcakes were just what I'd want!

Stopped in to try the cupcakes, they were good, I don't know if they are $3 good, but good. The cake was moist, the frosting super great (love frosting). Several different flavors, I will probably go back, not an every day thing for the price. All in all, good cupcakes.

We went later in the day cause it was very cold and they had ran out of some of their soups so we tried the broccoli cheddar and it was AMAZING and I had a sub which was lado great!

I love the soup and the rolls that come with it! The cupcakes are amazing as well. Very friendly staff and environment.

Wow. They have really great cupcakes. I cannot deny this....but the grossness factor of a dirty place gets the 3 stars. I have gone into this place (old location only), and I have seen flies trapped in the cupboard flying all over the cupcakes being sold. So gross. I haven't visited their new location, so hopefully the flies aren't enjoying the cupcakes anymore.

If you have friends and family in from out of town and you can take them to only one place in Havre, this is the place. It is fun and eclectic and exciting and has a vibe and atmosphere usually reserved for bigger cities. Don't be confused...it is very laid back and homey. But fun, which escapes almost every other restaurant in Havre. Oh, and the cupcakes are good. Very good. And so too are the sandwiches. Great place for dessert or lunch. Highly recommend.

Henny Penny's is a wonderful place to eat! I get their lunch special whenever I can - soup and a homemade roll. My favorite soup is their potato soup or the chicken dumpling, but everything is good. I always get a cupcake when I go there, too. So many different kinds I can't even begin to choose a favorite!

The ranch rolls here are to die for. Fresh and homemade soups are amazing. The seafood bisque is the best! They are all good. Then top it off with an amazing cupcake.
