Hardee's

So yeah, I ordered bacon on both the big burgers pictured. The two potheads working at the counter even asked the pothead making the burgers if there was bacon on them. He said yes. While these two at the counter are screwing around playing touch butt with each other, I was the only person in there waiting on food and it took 10 minutes or maybe longer....and still made wrong. I'm a truck driver and I was about 5 miles down the road before I even pulled them out of the bag. I do not go this way very often but if I do I won't be stopping here again. Do not get me wrong, I have no issues with people smoking weed whatsoever. But if it makes you to dumb to do your job correctly, time to give one of the two things up.

We chose Hardee's since it is so convenient, being inside of Love's Travel Plaza. It was a long very windy walk from the truck past the scales and fuel island, but we made it.

Upon entering Hardee's I noticed how empty it was and how clean. There were numbers placed on the tables, along the waiting rails clear up to the cash register. The numbers were posted to show customers where to stand before ordering to insure everyone was 6' apart.

My husband ordered the meal combo #9 consisting of a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a medium sweet tea. I chose the #3 combo which includes a western bacon cheeseburger, fries and a medium drink also. The cashier was so nice and quick to get our order to us, doing it all with a smile.

Back to the truck after such a long walk, it was finally time to eat. I took the food out of the bag while my husband put away the purchases from Love's. By this time the fries were cold and the burgers were warm. I can't hold it against Hardee's, being so far from the truck parking area or for being so cold and windy outside.

We both ate the food, the fries were just too cold to eat so we didn't bother finishing them, the burgers were delicious and filling and the sweet tea left a little bad after taste. It is so much better to be able to sit down in a restaurant and enjoy your food hot but again I can't hold that against them either with the COVID-19 pandemic.

So I'm giving them 4 stars for their friendliness, hospitality and for being so clean and caring of their customers. They also have a drive through available that would probably be a better option than coming in, but it's not an option for big rigs.

I ordered a number one, large size, just under $10. Slow service but they were busy so it was understandable there, but when I got my hamburger and fries, the meat on the hamburger was cold. I don't know if the guy mixed up patties on the grill or what. The fries had no salt and didn't seem like they were fried at all but maybe microwaved? They were the soggy mushy no flavor kind. The Dr. Pepper was good as expected. I've been here a few times but usually one out of three visits food will be excellent and the others are just big let downs. I'm not a front desk complainer, but after multiple mishaps, I'll finally just leave my review for others.

At this point for what I pay, I'm probably going to be avoiding Hardee's from now on.

Was driving home from a vacation and decided to stop at this establishment for some highway food and beverages.
I should have noticed things were going South when the lady taking the order was being interrupted by her coworkers which prolonged the ordering process tenfold.
Pulling up to the window, the woman apologized for the interruptions and went through the exchange process.
I checked my bag to make sure all items were correct, then headed back on the highway.
I distributed the food accordingly and started munching on the curly fries. Thankfully I noticed the twinkle and shine from an amber-colored strand of hair hanging halfway out of the fry carrier.
The fry impersonator disgusted me and destroyed my appetite for further fry consumption. I worked on the Thickburger, which made me feel terrible about myself halfway through it.

This is one highway stop that I will cross off my list if I ever find myself on this stretch of highway again.

The service was terrible. The person who was working late yelled at us because he couldn't do 3 separate orders in the drive thru. He cussed at us and told us our order had to be 2 orders under 15 dollars. This was disrespectful and terrible service. Don't ever go here because the service is terrible.

we spent 25 dollara for some cold ass chicken strips!that are supose to be made by order,they forget the bbq sauce and i'm pissed that people think just because you drive trucks you'll eat anything!!not comong back!!

Well if your eating probally should expects some old food cold fries and Luke warm poppers and only asked for some fresh lemon for the tea forget it they say they gonna get some then you get ignored and forgotten about the lemons they had out where seriously dry and yucky but they where okay in their eyes the tea was at least fresh . They greeted us in a professional manner but after that it went down hill from there burger was slightly cold lettuce was fresh on the burger at least and tomatoes too meat was so so not real thrills or flavor my husband says his fries where slightly moldy in taste half the food was tossed out and went else where to eat probably won't return to this location ever

Part of newly opened Love's Truck stop. Stopped in here on way home from Thanksgiving. Great food as always at Hardee's, and friendly staff.

A few days ago I went to Hardee's and they got my order wrong so I took it back. They brought me another and once again it was wrong. Then today I went back because I wanted a 4 for 4 meal that they used to have. I asked the lady said they didn't have it, and since they are so expensive I didn't want one of their meals. so I said never mind I don't want anything, thank you. and started to drive off, when I drove by the door the lady that took the orders leans out the window and yells "REALLY?!". Needless to say I will not be going back for a long time.
