The staff was extremely rude. We woke up with an ant infestation all over our room on the fourth floor. So you know if it was the fourth floor the answer in every single room in this hotel. The manager originally lied and said she wasn't in the building and then when I told her staff to call the manager she instantly appeared two minutes later. She accuse me of bringing the ants in with me. Which is ridiculous because I stay at about 25 different Hilton's all over the country and I've never had a bad experience in any other Hilton's. And even before the ant infestation there was a dirty towel hanging on the back of our door and the phone in the room didn't work. I wish that I could give this hotel -5 stars because that's what they deserve.

Really nice hotel in an odd location. All of the streets in this area run strange and are not marked very well. I got lost several times even using maps. We were fortunate enough to book a handicap room. My mother is elderly and needs a walk in shower. I am amazed how large these rooms actually are. I slept in the pull out couch bed and gave her the king size . I am surprised how comfortable the couch bed actually was.
The room was set up great, plenty if space to move around. There is a closet close to the bed, we were able to put her Oxygen Concentrator in the closet and close the door most of the way to keep down the noise and bright lights on it.
The bathroom was incredible. The entire corner of the room is a shower that someone in a chair could wheel into. The seat was very nice and sturdy. Hand help shower head near it as well as regular shower head. Giant desk space if you need to work there, but also great to unpack on as well.
Breakfast area is spacious in the lobby and wow the gent who runs breakfast was on the ball and very personable.
I would certainly stay here again and again when I visit the Omaha area going forward.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jesan B.Austin, TX17123Dec 23, 2022
My husband got terrible bites over his arms after one night staying there. After the second night, he had them on his legs, too. There were blood smears on the sheets from the fresh bites. We asked to change rooms which they allowed us to. When he returned the keys to the first room there was a couple at the front desk complaining about cancelling their reservation because the pool and hot tub weren't working. They asked my husband why he was returning his keys and he said he got bug bites all over his body. A bit later, the assistant manager Lisa Hudgins came to our room and told us they were evicting us because my husband was telling guests that we got bug bites. Lisa was irate, confrontational, and hostile. My husband, baby, dog, and I left. We were then charged for an extra night. Lisa told me that she would call me Monday before the final bill was sent through. She didn't. After calling a few times and leaving messages, she never called me to let me know the results of the bed bugs.
Hilton customer service told us we had to call the hotel to find a resolution. I am so beaten down by this whole experience that after I write this review, I am done. I will never ever stay at Hampton Inn again. To kick a family out because we complained we had bed bugs into the cold of a Nebraska winter is just heartless. Lisa is a Karen. If you don't believe me, look at the rest of the reviews. This was the only hotel we stayed at - where else could these bites have come from? I wash my hands of this now. I am still waiting on a call from Lisa, but I'm not holding my breath.
Now I am still cleaning sheets and making sure the bugs don't transfer. I'm completely emotionally drained and stressed and not able to enjoy the holiday.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Trina D.Los Angeles, CA23676114Apr 16, 2023
The hotel is located near lots of shops and restaurants and is easily accessible to Omaha sights. My room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast area was very clean and well stocked. Overall, a great stay.

The room I had looked very nice and clean. The issues I had were with the amenities in the room. Perhaps an oversight by housekeeping? No water in the room (even though I asked and was told there were). Also, I heating/AC unit sounded like a diesel truck every all night, with an added occasional "banging" noise. I was too tired from a long drive to complain, so I just put on headphones and went to sleep. The bathroom was not filled with shampoo (luckily, I brought my own) and no laundry bag.
The positives: price was low ($99 + tax for a 2 queen bed room); beds were comfy and plenty of room to put down all my bags and conveniently located off of I-80/680.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chris C.West Omaha, Omaha, NE03Jun 24, 2023
The only good thing was Tasha at the front desk. She was very helpful and super nice. The manager was a nightmare to deal with. Rooms weren't great, smelled moldy. Had clothes on the floor in the closet and when we were packing up, they were soaked. I don't recommend anyone staying here.

It seems that we lucked out here, no bedbugs or surly front desk personnel as per other reviewers (and they are not recent, so maybe Hampton took note and also those complaints were during the peak of Covid, so some allowance must be made). Instead, we had a very comfortable and quiet evening in a clean room, comfy queen beds and stocked bathroom.
However, to get to the quiet room required asking Becky, the front desk person that evening, for a different room on the other side of the hotel (front side) as our room, even on the 4th floor, was impacted, sound-wise, by the two air conditioning units on the roof lower down on the building). It was a low, droning noise that I can't abide, though it didn't bother my spouse. Still, I requested another room and Becky came through for us and all was well.
Also, as others have noted, just getting to the place was confusing if one followed the Siri and/or Google maps directions. We ended up making a loop on the expressway, as it is easy to miss the turn off, especially at night. We came back via Davenport (?) to the back of the hotel. I asked about the confusing directions and Becky said they have heard from others about this and have tried to get GPS navigations programs to change to a more user-friendly version but so far no go. So, just be advised.
The real treat here was the breakfast. Now, Hampton Inn is known for having a decent hot breakfast but this place had an above-and-beyond breakfast thanks to the breakfast manager and I'll say it, chef, Dennis. He seemed to be running the place single-handed or at least was the primary cook/organizer. The oatmeal had a very appealing texture, not runny but not too thick. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, the sausage patties had nice, crisp edges on them and then there was the sausage gravy! I had to go back for seconds, it was so good. Not too thick, not too thing and very flavorful. Dennis makes this himself, based on a recipe of his relatives in Tennessee. (Complimenting Dennis on the gravy led to this revelation about the recipe.) He would put mushrooms into the gravy but Hampton won't allow it, due to potential allergies people might have to fungii (never heard of that but, ok). Too bad. The gravy was excellent on the sausage and also the biscuits. Because sausage and biscuits! Noticing guests slipping Dennis a tip, we did the same. People often treat hotel staff as quasi invisible people but everyone has a story and one can have a positive encounter with one's fellow Americans if you just pay attention.
A note on being more environmentally friendly: I wish hotels would learn to dispense with these individual plastic containers of shampoo, lotion and conditioner and have larger, wall-mounted containers as Tru by Hilton has).
P.S. Isn't it time for Yelp to dispense with the mask advisories? On a 5 day road trip, we saw exactly one hotel staffer wearing a mask (in Nevada). It's 2023, after all.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 858773605Jun 30, 2019
Stayed here on a business trip, and it was a pleasant stay. I particularly enjoyed that the hotel had hot breakfast every morning (including a waffle station, some eggs/omelettes depending on the day), pastries, fresh made juices and smoothies, and coffee. The room itself was pretty spacious, with a nice chair for the desk in case you need to work. Bathroom was alright, though I appreciated the large counter space. The closet was a bit musty and the door wouldn't stay open on its own, so I had prop it open with a trashcan. The AC was interesting because it seemed to still be blowing cold air even when the temperature was reached, so I had to just turn off the thermostat completely when it got too cold, but at least the AC worked!
It was also nice that they had an indoor pool, which was great for laps. There's also a small "convenience store" with snacks, ramen, etc in case you get the munchies but you can also easily UberEats or DoorDash something - they'll even bring it up to your room! Staff was pleasant and there's plenty of free parking if you have a car. Other than being a bit far from anything via walking, and some complain that it's loud if you're facing the highway (but I didn't hear anything), I enjoyed my stay.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - T H.Green City, MO021Sep 21, 2022
Not cleanest beds. Need to wash blankets and mattress covers more often. Not the worst I've been at but far from best.

Located near Boys Town right by several highways to get to/from anywhere you need. Located off the service road but it's far enough from road to be quiet. It's an older Hampton for sure so the towels are a bit worn, the tubs are older but the beds are still good ol Hampton comfort. They are currently doing to go breakfast bags (due to covid) but if you need a hot option or some good coffee, they are a half mile from a local breakfast cafe that was so good I went 3 times in a days!
