Quick review: Tasty food, friendly staff, clean restaurant, good selection, great prices
Reviews: This place was very good. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. They do have drink control and use Red Diamond Ice Tea which is a plus for me haha! They really stuff my Gyro and the fries are tasty. I will definitely be going back.
Should you try: That would be a definite yesHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Will A.AL, AL0841Jul 13, 2021
Sorry to say but the meat is tasteless unlike the staff that is great. Would have given 1 star but the staff give the place the extra star.

This little mom and pop is bright and inviting. Open comfortable seating and the tunes from Sirius are a the proper level to enjoy a conversation. A great in cluttered menu where every choice is a winner. I had the combo gyro which is chicken schwarma and the traditional beef lamb gyro meat. This way I could taste both. I also got some extra Taziki cause that's how I roll.
It's a great place for lunch. Not so sure I'd make this a dinner stop.
It's good come N get it!!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Luznery F.Madison, AL17248211Jul 7, 2018
Stopped in while in the area because I love Greek food especially Gyros. When you walk in the place was clean and nicely decorated. There 2 or 3 tables seated and 2 people working behind the counter a woman and man. We were not greeted when we walked in the lady eas visibly busy making meals while I stood at the register and the man walked back and forth looking angry. Then he tells her to finish up so she can take my order uhhh why couldn't he but whatever! We ordered Gyros which were nothing to rave about plenty of other Greek spots around to try instead!

I don't know whether I liked this place because I was starving or because it was actually good but I did enjoy my meal. I needed something quick, light and close by so a gyro place was my natural choice. It was easy enough to get to parking wasn't difficult. It was about 1:30 on a Saturday so there was no one in the restaurant. Ordering was a breeze but I felt a bit rushed by the cashier. He seemed a bit annoyed that I had stopped in and even more inconvenienced by the fact that I had no idea what I wanted to order. I eventually settled on your garden variety lamb gyro, with no lettuce, extra tziki and a side of fries with ranch and Gyro Uno's signature sauce. It didn't take long for them to prepare my order but I was able to take a seat in the dining room while I waited for my order and take in my surroundings. It's a fairly homey place with random memorabilia all over the walls. There are booths and tables scattered throughout the dining room with an open kitchen concept. It was pretty cool and looked really clean. My order was ready in no time and I happily grabbed my bag and headed out the door. When I arrived at my destination I eagerly opened the box and was happy to see a sizeable gyro with a generous helping of fries. You see, my order (with a water) came to be a little over $11 which I thought was kind of pricey for a gyro and some fries but I definitely got what I paid for. I was afraid the meat would taste old and dry, but it was really tasty. The flatbread was soft, the tziki fresh and there was a nice plump tomato sauce that added some nice acidity. The fries were okay. They seemed a bit old and soggy but the signature sauce went well with them. I almost wished I hadn't of paid extra for the ranch and just went with that sauce.
All in all, it was a satisfying meal. I'll be adding this to my list of quick bites in Madison for a light meal.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Richard F.Toney, AL105822Oct 31, 2019
Good food, good prices. I do still long for Lebanese food like in Detroit however. Plenty of healthy options here as well.

Average, place was not overly busy and yet took a bit to get food, once received it was average.
The meat taste somewhat processed and is not as flavorful as a real gyro place.
Maybe I have been spoiled in my travels but this place is not worth me going back.
Fine for the masses I suppose.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ian H.Birmingham, AL66114Nov 20, 2018
The food is great. Staff is not. Also everything is self serve, you fix your own drinks, get your own food, so I am not sure why they ask for a tip. It's basically fast food styled Greek food. It's still delicious but I am not sure why they even ask for a tip other than to scam customers that have a guilty conscience.
