Way overpriced. $180 for an $80 room. Fitness equipment is garbage. Room is more like a one star hotel.

Stopped in for one night. We had the standard two double bed room and it was pretty standard. You're really mostly paying for the location here in Kellogg. Only complaint with the room was the bed, which moved a lot when you shifted. The hallways had lots of pretty cool vintage looking posters. As to the complaints about the wifi speed, it was actually ok; not high speed, but usable.
In the morning, the breakfast area was set up in the check-in/lobby area. Again, the props were very cool, like the old cast iron oven. They had the usual waffles area, but I found the yogurt situation a bit strange; not sure if it was a money saving tactic?
Very very pet friendly place! Saw 4 different medium to large dogs strolling through the lobby as I was having my oatmeal.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christine S.San Diego, CA05818Jun 17, 2023
The Hotel Manager, Terri, was wonderfully welcoming and friendly! The room was definitely small, but clean and comfortable. All of the towels and washcloths were super soft and appeared to be brand new. We rode the Hiawatha Bike Trail and came back FILTHY! The Hotel Manager provided us with rags to use with a hose in a grassy area in the front of the hotel to clean our bikes and shoes. It was great to be able to clean our bikes right upon returning to the hotel. The location of the hotel is awesome! There is a grocery store and restaurants within easy walking distance. Also, the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes is directly behind the hotel which is wonderful! We would absolutely stay here again.

Omg so noisy. Outdoor side door slamming all night. Thin walls and heard the people above me until 12 pm and again at 6am. Sounded like three people were running back and forth to the door to the window. The worst experience ever. Stayed close to laundry and vending machines, what a nightmare. On top of paying $411 for two nights for one room with 2 double beds. Never Again. If you want to sleep more than 6 hours, don't stay here!!!!! Old coil mattresses and thin flat pillows. Perhaps that was a good point, couldn't sleep anyway.

Nicest staff members we've ran into to date! Not only did they make us feel welcome after a long day of travel with our infant twins, but the person who checked us in wasn't even on the clock yet. Before her start time she actually, ran to meet us in the parking lot, help us carry in bags as we got the babies, held the doors open, upgraded our room, and made sure it was ready before the actual check in time. Amazing customer service. I am just sorry I didn't catch her name. I do know it started with a J, as do my whole families... so we thought that was pretty sweet!
Thank you Guesthouse Inn for Lady J! :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David L.Billings, MT529Aug 13, 2017
This hotel is now a Fairbridge Inn & suites. Nice morning staff. Rooms are out of date with poor Wi-Fi and dim lighting. Make sure you bring your own extension cord because you'll need it if you have a cell phone to plug in. There are no USB plug in the entire hotel, but one thing is for sure, this place has the best air conditioning of any property ever! Being heat intolerant, I have never been able to cool down as well as I did here. There were some anomalies that were worked out well with the front desk. They do try their best.

We stopped here by accident and are happy with our choice. The front desk reception was excellent and we felt welcome.
Our room has two queen size beds, internet is great and room is large with a nice size flat screen TV The problem is you can only get out on one side of the bed since the other is up against the wall - too crowded.
The serve a great breakfast and for $89.00 (in Oct) you would have a hard time doing betterHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Chris D.Lacey, WA37399143Mar 6, 2016
I stay in a LOT of hotels, mostly Best Westerns and Holiday Inns, so this is my bar to beat I guess. The staff was nice and the breakfast was ok. The room was a comfortable temperature but the bed... Well, any time I or my wife moved it wobbled from side to side. Not sure what was going on with it but it moved way too much. AND the wife's side of the bed didn't have an end table and the bed was blocking the plug ins. This is the room I was told I was upgraded to also as it was a deluxe King room instead of the cracker box (not my words) I was booked in by my work travel agent. So I have had better but it was okay for a night.
