Came here with a friend for some poké! It was my first time trying poké and I gotta say I loved it and didn't think I would enjoy poké.
I got the poké bowl with marlin, shoyu aahi, limu aahi, ginger aahi. My favorite was shoyu aahi and marlin. I thought for my taste the ginger was over powering and the limu I didn't like.
I also got a bowl of their egg drop soup which was delicious with some chili shoyu sauce in it.
Service was great! Mom and pop shop and they're super friendly. They get busy really quickly though.
Overall the poké bowl was great and the food here is delicious!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 6, 2023Previous reviewLet me start with a story. My partner and I went here with a group of friends. We had already eaten earlier and weren't hungry, so our friends ordered and we sat down with them. Everyone gets complimentary egg drop soup with an entre purchase.
Our friends got their meals and one of the employees came up to us and joked around about not ordering food (it was all in good fun and we laughed with him). Then he offered to bring us some soup, on the house. We were shocked with how nice, friendly, welcoming and homey this place was! They treat you like family and the soup was DELICIOUS!!
Our friends foods looked really good and portion sizes are big and prices are reasonable and worth it. Would definitely come here again if I'm in the area!! - Sara M.Auburn, WA6951Apr 26, 2024
Excellent service. Excellent food.
We had a party of 10.They had a ton of take out orders but still got all of or dishes served right away.
Would definitely be back for take out.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Crystal G.WA, WA52Apr 12, 2024
I've drove past this location multiple times without ever giving it a second thought thinking its just another Chinese restaurant but after watching a TikTok vid about it and seeing that they also serve Poke, I knew I had to try this place and it did not disappoint.
This place had some cozy family Hawaiian vibes upon entering and it honestly felt like home.
I ordered their Pork Fried Rice, Noodles with Pork Gravy and some of their Spicy Aioli Salmon Poke and they definitely hit the spot.
Especially the Salmon poke, it literally melts in your mouth. I can see why other people need to call in to make sure they still have poke because they sell it like hot cakes. Literally the best in the Kent area.
10/10 would recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 5802813044May 10, 2024Updated review13 check-ins
We have been just picking up for delivery the past few months. But today we decided to dine in since they changed menu. Let me tell you it's better than ever. They opened up a new location in Lynnwood of mainly poke. But at the Kent location, although my fave dish is no longer on the menu, it made me try other dishes and boy they don't disappoint! They still have my fave salt and pepper wings. My husband got something different also. Beef curry veggies over rice. He loved it. I'm not into spice so I got the Singapore noodles with pork. Oh my the flavor I couldn't stop eating but I was so full!!! Looks like they did a little remodel at the restaurant too. Still feels like you're hanging out at a local Hawaiian restaurant. Plus it was nice to see Melissa the owner tonight. She gave us samples of what's on the new menu. Delish!! We will for sure order sashimi platter next visit. So glad we went early before the place got busy on a Friday night. A lot of people who came in ordered take out. But sometimes it's nice to just dine in and hang out. Support small business!

They know we are foodies, and we travel all over just to get them eat food around. Little did we know there is one just down the hill from where live. Don't know why we never stopped by, but after many years we finally dined in.
At first when you walk in it's like you're on da islands hearing Hawaiian reggae music, placec had that homey Hawaiian feel to it. They have so many items on the menu that it took us a while to decide. Our eyes were bigger than our stomach that we ordered so much we had to take home for lunch tomorrow. After seeing diners order chicken wings, I had to order some to go. Glad I did because the noise I was making when eating them in front of the tv, well you get the picture. My husbands favorite was the beef tomato over rice. The tomatoes were so good the way it was cooked. The sweet tea with honey was so refreshing I couldn't stop drinking!
We met the owner Melissa who gave us over the top service, even hugged me goodbye calling me sis. Now I know another fave local place to support. Glad they survived the pandemic and not having to close their doors like our other fave places in Kent. Melissa told us about their fresh fish that arrives fresh off the plane from Hawaii for their poke menu. Which the only service Wednesday-Saturday. They open at 11, and if you come after 1pm, they'll most likely be sold out. So come early for the freshest authentic poke around.
I can't wait be back!!! - Apr 3, 2024Updated review15 check-ins
The menu revamp didn't really change and the number of items especially the top sellers like the house special fried rice, green pepper beef, twice cooked pork, house special rice noodle and soup noodles choices are still available. Our go to choices include the almond fried chicken, Korean soup with rice noodle and the beef noodle soup. The Poke bar has even more choices and we enjoy getting them as a side dish but the poke bowls are worth the buck. The owner Melissa and her family have done a great job at this place and have been around for a very long time. The customer service is great at this family owned eatery. I'm getting hungry just writing this review!!!

They've adjusted their menu and there are some things that got cut but for the most part they've retained many of their yummy goodness they're known for like the wok hei fried rice. Our go to is the Korean seafood rice noodle soup. Don't judge me but I really like their almond chicken and theirs rocks. Take it from me I've eaten my good share of almond chicken and the batter is nice and crispy with a juicy chicken breast topped with a light gravy. They've expanded the amount of poke so will need to give that a try next time! You'll notice their prices have increased but Melissa the owner hasn't increased them for years and their big portions remain intact. Service is great at this family owned restaurant and they've refreshed the interior decor!
Jul 8, 2023Previous reviewI can go on and on about a place that simply has this comfort level of food which simply oozes in memories: always nice and hot, extraordinary and unique flavors that harken back to a time in our past and huge portions at a good price point. The service and kindness of the owner and staff go above and beyond expectations from the moment they say hello until the goodbye when you've walked out the door. But back to the food and I think we've had just about every dish on the menu but we tend to stick with our favs! The Korean spicy seafood soup, juicy beef noodle soup and don't judge but the almond chicken waxes what other places can do with this dish. The ambiance is simple and not overstated but very clean. If you're ever in the area be sure stop by!
Oct 30, 2022Previous reviewThe soup noodle dishes here are awesome but so are the many other dishes this family-owned place serves up! On this visit we had the Korean Soup Noodle with rice noodles and topped with lots of shrimp, pork, squid, celery, bell peppers, mushrooms, broccoli and cabbage all soaked in a spicy soup base! And then what's not to like about their beef brisket noodle soup in a nice beefy broth with a little kick. They also have a good selection of poke and we wanted to try their shrimp poke. If they've got tripe like you definitely need to order some but it's not always on the menu. If you're not in the mood for soup then definitely give the green pepper beef or almond chicken or house special fried rice just to name a few!
Jun 17, 2022Previous reviewThis small family run eatery offers some of the best Chinese food around and mark my words if you remember Green Village in the ID this place mirrors their menu and tastes! We like to order their spicy Korean Ndola soup and sub the noodles for rice noodles. Other go to favs are the almond fried chicken (tender moist chicken and super tasty gravy) that comes in a big portion plus a cup of hot & sour soup. The house special fried rice is great as is the orange chicken. Their poke selections are worth a try but sometimes they run out by dinner time.
Mar 20, 2022Previous reviewThis family run business rocks the food and has been doing so for many years in this unassuming strip mall in the K-Valley! Consistency in their dishes plus flavors and tastes that never stray from the norm are what brings us back for more, and you can't beat the service especially when they remember your order too. We enjoy so many items on the menu and this go round we had the Korean soup noodle with rice noodle, almond chicken and orange chicken. The side of hot and sour soup is a must and comes out steaming hot. This time we tried a 1/4 pound each of the ahi poke and octopus poke and ended getting a pound of each. How they accommodate what you want to your choice brings it up a notch. Thanks Melissa and family for delivering!
May 1, 2021Previous reviewThis might be 15 miles from our house but when we're in the area we always make plans to eat here! Our go to favs are the Korean noodle but we get it with rice noodle and I like the beef noodle soup with wide noodles. The plate of house special fried rice and the almond fried chicken are my kids go to every time! It's a family owned business so we make the effort to support them in every way we can during these tough times.
Feb 15, 2021Previous reviewRing the bell for our craving of the best almond chicken in town! This place is spot on for the infamous Green Village that used to reside in Chinatown an d brings back memories of yumminess! We opted for the seafood Korean noodle soup with rice noodles, house special fried rice and two orders of almond fried chicken. Don't be a Chinese food snob and diss me for eating American style Chinese food cuz if it rocks your boat you'll be making waves enjoying g the crispy texture with moist breast meat on the inside. The nice layer of gravy is very tasty and not overly salty and be sure to combo it up with a spring roll. Don't forget a side cup of their hot and sour soup too!!!
Aug 24, 2020Previous reviewAmazing place that consistently puts out great dishes! For those who remember now closed Green Village in the ID this is your spot to go for identical dishes from a place that comes from the same extended family run biz! Korean soup noodle - we get ours with rice noodle - and Juicy beef noodle are two of our favorites. The House Special fried rice cooked in a wok is the best. I'm an almond chicken fanatic (lofan food lol) and the nice crust on the chicken breast with gravy is one of my favs. Getting hungry and a craving just writing this review.

Chaotic. When I was trying to place my order with the guy at the counter, the woman who I think is the owner's daughter kept trying to ask the guy about an online order. It was confusing and rude -- she was distracting the guy and I had to repeat my order twice.
While waiting for my food, you can really feel the stress coming from that woman. She was going back and forth from the kitchen to the front of the house, asking the guy questions about different orders. My partner and I felt kinda awkward, like was she upset or what? They need to get organized for sure and work on communication.
I drove to Kent all the way from Seattle because I thought there was a relationship with the old Green Village restaurant in the International District that closed years ago. This place does not come close to the level of service Wendy provided her customers and spice level on the Mongolian beef is non-existent.
And why was I charged differently from what is reflected on the menu? I don't know if I'll be coming back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Nomstradamus ..Seattle, WA0378Apr 7, 2024
-Food was good and flavorful. (5 stars)
-They blatantly shorted me on wontons in my wonton soup. Menu says it's 10 which is part of why I didn't just get the 8 wonton order in sauce, but my soup came with 8. This is what prompted me to even write this review, don't mess with my wonton soup! (-1 star)
-their order system is weird. I waited in line and when I got to the cashier to order she said I had to get poke first and then I had to wait in line again to order my poke and soup and fried rice. I'm not sure if she put in my rice and soup order when I first told her because it was like a 20+ minute wait after I paid. Plus they charge 4% for using a card and note that you get that discounted if you pay with cash but the guy wasn't going to discount it until I asked him to and then he had to re-enter my order to get the new price. Green Valley is one of those restaurants I always forget about, then when I come here, I think "Why don't I come here more often?"
My Hawaiian friend introduced me to Green Valley. I love the poke and I love that you can customize it. (My husband loves the fried rice.) When we come in, we feel like we are family, everyone is welcoming and friendly.
This is a fast-casual atmosphere, you order at the counter and they bring your food out to you a few minutes later. While there, we saw kids enjoying boba tea and old folks enjoying a conversation with the workers. Bring your family, everyone will find something to like here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Frank C.WA, WA04May 8, 2024
This restaurant is a hidden gem, offering a delightful fusion of Korean and Chinese cuisine along with the freshest poke in town. What truly amazed me was their poke, prepared by Kirk, a local Hawaiian with years of experience managing poke stations in Oahu. Kirk flies in fresh seafood from Hawaii to ensure top-notch quality. With its family-run atmosphere and delicious offerings, I highly recommend this spot for anyone craving high-quality fish and good vibes
