Greedy's

A little, locally owned restaurant that pleasantly surprises! The staff were all so friendly. They worked to set us up to have lunch outside because it was such a beautiful afternoon. The food is to die for! Everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious! I had the tacos and my fiance had the burgers. Neither of us could decide which we liked better. Will definitely be back!

Food was just okay I went to the restaurant February 2020 precovid. The restaurant was very dirty, no hand washing and food tasted so so. I went because I saw on Google the Restaurant got good reviews however was very disappointed actually end up getting a stomachache. I'm just doing my review but as you can see five months later I still have not gone back and don't plan on it.

I suppose that if you're interested in the image of your food, As Ashley said in her review, that this place would be quite bad. It's not in a hip part of town. I don't think there's table service. The decor does not have artsy metals and hand blown glass accents.

By the same way of thinking, every food truck and street food joint would be bad. Big Al's in Larchmere would be avoided and the Sokolowskis would have been closed decades ago.

"Ashley" said nothing about the food, man! She had problems with containers and condiments! Restaurants are about the food!

My experience with this place starts at work: a coworker was eating a mammoth sized portion of fettuccine Alfredo-looking stuff and I asked her where she got it. She said "Greedys" and pointed in the direction of the place. "I call ahead like 15 minutes and walk over to get it. This is like $10 and I can eat it for dinner too, there's so much You should try it. I go there twice a week, at least."

Being a vegan on the east side is rough, and I'm the worst vegan ever, so when I cheat, I don't hold back. The next day I was craving chicken like crazy, and I gave Greedy's a shot:

Holy $#*¥! Greedys chicken was DOPE. Haha. Honest to god, it's the best chicken I've ever eaten. It's got something in the breading that puts it over the top. Some voodoo salty spicy goodness that makes me never want to stop eating it.

I took an order of chicken strips back to work and shared with a few coworkers - the general consensus was that, indeed, that was the best chicken strips they had ever had. I probably made a lot of customers for Greedys that day. We all commented on the special magic coating...it is something special. And now I'm out a few days, and keep thinking about that chicken...those hand-cut fries....just wow. And the order of 5 strips was a laughable $6. It was more food than anyone but a glutton vegan on a protein bender could eat.

So now every day I'm faced with the decision of my bland vegetables from home for lunch, or walking those few steps to Greedys. It's right next door to a church- and the chicken is like a religious experience.

I had the chicken philly and it was delicious!! So glad I finally tried it, after my nephew been telling me to go!! I've been back 2x so far, cheap, cheerful and tasty!! Yummers!!

I ordered from this place on 10/18/22 the customer service sucks the old man that answered the phone was rude and couldn't hear because of there bad phone connection he told me I had to pay even before I finished ordering I told him I would with no problem I had to repeat my order several times and after he took my payment he said c u in 20 and hung up with out getting a name or number from me I wasn't picking up my order so he would have needed that at least I thought so I called back to give my name the lady was even worse she took my name and hung up so quick i don't know what the employees are getting paid there but they must be under paid and don't like there job or just haven't been properly trained in customer service and to put the icing on the cake my order was wrong I got charged 32 bucks for that trash so if anyone has the patience to read this review don't ruin your good day and hard earned money at this place!!!!!!

If i could give this place 0 stars, I would. I ordered their breakfast special and along with that, came a piece of Taco seasoning packet mixed inside! I didn't even order tacos! & My grits were placed inside of a KFC bowl, are we saving bowls from someone else's food at a COMPLETELY different restaurant?! HORRIBLE! Tried contacting the business and no one answers, it's a personal cell phone. NEVER AGAIN!

Don't get delivery. I ordered several times hoping that the food would get better. I wasted a lot of money, if you don't go in person it's not worth it. The grits were hard as bricks. Very sloppy presentation. The waffles were cold and rubbery. The chicken had no flavor. Never again

I've been back to Chef Jay's 'Greedy's' many times, and Jay has never let us down. We usually order the 'Cajun Shrimp' over rice with vegetables -- zucchini, peppers and onions -- and the 'Cajun Salmon Salad'. Ten dollars each. Both have been great every time. We've been taking out meals by Chef Jay since he opened here in 2017. Whenever Jay is in the kitchen, the meals are as good as it gets, and the prices can't be beat. The place is small. It has a couple tables, and has been decorated nicely, but we've only ever taken out. We've had many an interesting conversation with Chef Jay over these two years. He's as good as people get. We'll keep going back!

I placed the order with Greedys to deliver To my job through DoorDash they never called they never said anything I called back to find out where my order was and they never said that they couldn't find a driver for over two hours I will never order from them again

Greedy Burger was amazing! Polish boy was amazing! The BBQ sauce is amazing! I can't believe this place isn't more popular
