Hours say open until 7pm online so why are they closed at 6:15pm? Not worth the effort especially as the phone rings to a mailbox that has not been setup, hardly a professional appearance. It's probably a better idea anyway to buy new appliances with the service contract for rental units, rather than trying to save on the expenditure and replacing it with an appliance of similar kind. I had a couple that I was interested in refurbishing before doing full upgrades on the properties, but if they can't be bothered to be open during business hours, they don't need my business.

Horrible customer service. Called and set up a day to come in, drove 2 hours, and the store was closed. No one answered the phone. Based on my experience and the other reviews, this place seems extremely sketchy.

First, let me say that what was advertised online, he actually had in the store. Which was a huge deal to me since I searched for a new refurbished washer without an agitator and only went to the places that currently had them available.
Upon entering, the place is beyond cramped. It's not really feasible to walk around and look but since I already knew what I wanted, I just asked the guy working there.
He wasn't the most personable person but when I told him about the washer I was inquiring about, he showed it to me. I asked him if the washer was good and he told me the truth. He said "No. This one have problems later". I really appreciated his honesty! Then he showed me another one with the same price without an agitator and said that one was better.
I purchased it and asked him if I could fit it in my Acadia. He told me that this type of washer needs to stay upright or the drum part could shift and not work properly (so no, it wouldn't fit in an SUV) so it should be upright on a truck. I asked if he could deliver. He told me up front that it was a third party delivery service so they would charge me a lot from Springfield to Centreville and that I would have to work with them for scheduling. Luckily, we were able to have a few friends pick it up for us.
We've had the washer for a month and I am beyond happy! It works perfectly and I would recommend this place versus any other places I shopped around for a refurbished washer!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - D D.Washington, DC026Mar 10, 2018
If I could give negative stars, I would.
I paid for an LG washer and dryer, and neither worked from the start. Repairmen visited and left totally befuddled. The store manager (maybe the owner? I never knew for sure),
Inam, finally sent me replacement -- an inferior stacked unit that makes a racket when the dryer is on. The interior is scratched and I had to glue the lint basket together myself.
SO, if you want to save a little money, DO NOT even think of going here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Reggie B.Woodbridge, VA01Jan 21, 2019
Prices are great. I have my own truck, so I am
sure getting a third party to deliver or return appliances
can be real problematic.
The cord on my dryer didn't match my socket
so I brought it back and they put on a new cord for free.
Great service, great prices, if you can deliver yourself.

Enjoyed my experience buying a W/D. Manager was helpful and friendly. Pressure-free and got a good deal with a generous warranty. Recommended.

I am a star driven purchaser (who takes time out of their overly busy schedule to write a fake review...ain't nobody got time fa that) so I was a bit skeptical when hubby suggested this business and informed me of the 1 star rating. We went in and found a nice refrigerator for a good price (the owner will definitely work with you and is a man of faith driven integrity). The customer service seems great. The owner seems accommodating and our experience has been nothing but positive thus far. If you don't see another post stating otherwise our experience has remained positive.
In my observation, if you come to the store and present your issue the customer service is excellent. It seems the problems come into play when the company has to come to you. I'm not saying that they should advertise something that they don't offer but I do believe that MOST times people don't set out to do others wrong. I believe those that do are the exception.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - S S.Alexandria, VA0183May 24, 2020
This was a nightmare from beginning to end, I found them from a posting on Craigslist and thought I would give them a shot and see if it was worth it to do business with anyone on Craigslist other than a regular everyday person, I'm really regretting that decision, I ordered a refurbished GE dishwasher from a young man named Chris, the other guy Inam was the guy who sent out the receipt of purchase. I spoke with Chris who is a fluent Spanish speaker and conman extraordinaire, he plays to be some naive child but is the only person who answers the phone at all times and gives you an excuse upon excuse to make sure they keep your money well into the next month so they can earn interest off of it and then at the very end they may or are forced to return your money. at this point I'm still without a working dishwasher and I still don't have my $504.96 and they are trying to convince me that their location is the only place in the whole universe that is unable to issue a timely return of your funds. Again this place advertised on Craigslist that they had Good used and refurbished appliances and promised a timely delivery with installation, while speaking with Chris about my new dishwasher and the installation needs, he assured me that this 3rd party vendor would be able to accommodate me and I would having a good working machine pretty much the next day, the next day arrives and the two barely able to speak English delivery/installation men arrive and get ready to bring the replacement dishwasher into the house, i mentioned to the head delivery guy that they have a copper pipe that needs to be removed and replaced with a newer stainless steel connection, in his broken English and my little Spanish we were able to understand that he was not able to complete this install nor was he able to take care of this very specific installation need that was already discussed with Chris, so I called the store and as always Chris answered and had a full on conversation with the delivery guy in Spanish so that I would not understand, but I have 20 of Spanish and vocabulary training under my belt so I could understand their conversation verbatim he literally said just bring it back we still have his money and then well just give it back next month, I had to take the phone away from him and end the call because I had a very important meeting that I needed to call into and expected them to take the just deviled unit back with them and wait for the refund, but based of that conversation with his delivery team I knew I had a much bigger fight on my hands, they seem to only want to deal with you on selling and not the actual delivery of working good units and you are also at the will of the delivery people to show up whenever they feel like it without giving you a reasonable window of expectation for the delivery people to arrive, they only say they will call you an hour before the delivery and that's all, that means you just have to sit there and wait all day or all night for them to call you and then an hour from that time they will make the delivery. It is in my best opinion to find another place to do business with, this place thrives on taking advantage of peoples good and trusting nature, and I still don't have my money 11 days after this event happened.

Fantastic place, drove down from MD to purchase a new range after my old one died. Met with the salesman, we looked at his inventory found one I liked. We settled on a great price and I purchased the appliance right away. He even helped me load it in my car. Great customer service, will recommend this shop to others

The saga of broken appliances has ended.
The owner of this place is fantastic and willing to do what he can to help his customers. He personally made two house calls to help us out with some issues we were having. If it wasn't for him the rating would be much lower.
We did have issues with both the washer and dryer we purchased from Good Used Appliances. Both have since been replaced and are in great working order.
I am in the military and there were some issues with on post delivery and repair. It's why the owner helped us out instead. If we were off post I'd recommend 100% for appliances for the house. On post? Maybe not as much, just because it's tougher logistically.
Thanks much.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 13, 2016Previous reviewUpdating the review. Our dryer started making a lot of noise last week. It fully seized up and sounded like a portal to the underworld was opening in my laundry room. We unplugged it quickly, it smelt like hellfire and brimstone, but alas, it is the end of the dryer.
The good news: It's still under warranty.
The bad news: Despite them saying someone would be out last night or this morning, there's no follow-up from the business.
Disappointed would be a fair statement.Nov 14, 2016Previous reviewWhen you get in touch with someone, the service is great.
We purchased a washer/dryer on Friday. Had issues when we received it, the washer didn't work. They sent a technician out the following day who confirmed that it didn't work and recommended we get it replaced.
We finally got set-up on Monday with a working replacement.
Overall, it was fine. I would give them a second chance if I ended up needing something new in the future.
