About the Business
Based in Chicago, Giordano's Famous Stuffed Pizza has been serving its world-famous pizza since 1974, when founders and immigrants brothers Efren and Joseph Boglio became discouraged by the lack of authentic pizza available in the Chicago area. Becoming one of the originators of what is now internationally known as Chicago-style stuffed pizza, Giordano's has 44 locations and is also available for shipping anywhere in the continental United States by visiting our website. Giordano's has been acclaimed "Chicago's best pizza" by NBC, CBS Chicago, New York Times, Chicago Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Eater, Home & Garden Magazine, Concierge Preferred, Huffington Post and Chicago Social Magazine. We've also been featured on Good Morning America, Windy City Live and the Today Show among others.

Giordano's is the best!
If you live in the Chicagoland area, you most likely have eaten Chicago deep dish pizza....And, you probably have a favorite. Everyone thinks their favorite is the best, and I happen to think that Giordano's is the best.
So, it doesn't really matter the location, I'll always give 5 stars for Giordano's..... here's why:
Giordano's crust, even on the deep dish, is thin and crispy, which is also what makes Chicago thin crust pizza unique.... The thin and crispiness. Take that, and add an inch of mozzarella cheese, and a thin layer of tomato sauce to the top and you've got Giordano's deep dish.
My wife loves Lou Malnati's, but Lou's has much thicker crust, making it really a thick crust pizza, not a deep dish pizza. I will say that Lou's tomato sauce is very good though.
Several others out there claim to have the best, but you'll just have to try for yourself. I've been eating Giordano's for almost 40 years and it has always satisfied!Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 6Oh no 2 - Noreen H.Park Ridge, IL0141Feb 21, 2024
Terrible customer service. Rude. On Superbowl Sunday was told no small pizzas were available. How is that even possible? Tried to order and have delivered on a Saturday at 7:00 pm was told pick up only.
Don't use this location. Go to Rosemont where the employees don't seem to hate their jobs.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 19, 2023
- [ ] Horrible service - all the low-rating reviews are true. The staff was extremely rude! I will not be coming back here. Please save your time and go to another Giordanos! The food was still great but because of the service I won't be going back.

Absolutely the worst location I've ever been in. You have a lot of work to do to live up to the name!! Your service is rude and your prices are outrageous! You take over an hour to deliver a pizza on a slow night! I'd rather swallow my spit and starve than give you my business again

The food was meh, the service could have been way better.
The guy working really must hate his job, he had a sulking and petulant manner. But he used annoying sales tactics that got our money so I guess he's effective.
We came in on a Thursday and wanted two personal pizzas so we could try more flavors. The guy bites at us that only mediums and larges are available Thursday to Sunday. OK, we got a medium chicken sausage deluxe or something. He says pizza takes 40mins and forcefully insists we get an appetizer 'because they only take 5 minutes', we don't mind waiting, we weren't that hungry yet, no no, get an appetizer. Fine, we got the bruschetta. 'What drinks do you want?' Does it come with our order? He ignores the question. Water is fine. 'We don't have water, you have to get a bottled drink.' Literally he has bottled water in the fridge... Whatever. We got bottled drinks. I was very annoyed. But we were determined to get deep dish pizza and the chain had come highly recommended.
The bruschetta was good. Bottled drinks were whatever, I'm really annoyed there was no water, especially because the pizza was soooo salty. I was able to eat one slice, thinking oh maybe it's just me... My friend said no, the really salty sausage plus the really salty cheese made for an extremely salty pie. Could have used a lot more spinach and sauce. I gave up on my second slice, because I literally started gagging. Ended up going to the car to get water.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - S A.Des Plaines, IL01Apr 20, 2024

Super late review but 5 stars nonetheless! I was in Chicago in March to spend a few days of Ramadan with a friend and we got some halal pizza here for Iftar. I had never had Chicago deep-dish pizza nor had I ever had pizza with halal meat outside of Morocco so this was an experience of firsts. The staff were polite and the pizza was everything my cheesy heart could dream of. I would definitely get pizza here again if I ever went back to Chicago.

Better believe all the bad reviews. It is not worth getting pizza from this location with price gouging and lying that the owner does to sell his high priced halal pizza.
His attitude and behavior towards customer is at best disrespectful if not out right foul.
Pizza itself is not up to par, I have had better pizza at other halal pizza joints.
Never ever I am giving the owner my business under any circumstances.Helpful 8Thanks 2Love this 3Oh no 0 - Muhammad S.Carol Stream, IL016Dec 27, 2022
My single complaint here is the Owner. He works the front counter, and always has an attitude. It's so annoying to the point none of my friends and I want to give this place our business anymore. Each time we come in he has an attitude, is rude and doesn't display proper communication skills. Everything is an argument with him. If this is a family operated franchise then consider removing him from anything that has to do with customer service. Also, the pricing for zabiha has never been consistent...the price is always different and the three times we came here the prices varied, which I don't understand and makes me feel like the business doesn't practice ethically.
Inshallah you all make the proper changes here.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 24, 2022
I have been here every time I am in town, the pizza is honestly great and if you are aiming for halal you have to let them know and you can't order halal online. With that being said if you order from here just be ready for a rude service and you can't be picky or what they would consider difficult (aka having to do any work) a exception. The service is one of the worst. I only keep coming back for the halal deep dish since it is the only one I can find in the area. Once again pizza is great and def over priced but you can't beat the great taste. So moral of the story if you want halal deep dish call to order to go or place in person and don't step on any toes.
