The place is small with indoor and outdoor seating that is close together. I walked in at around 1:30 and immediately got greeted and requested to sit outside. I was unsure if there was a server or not but she had checked on me just once throughout my visit and felt very awkward. Another gentleman took down my order which was the birria grilled cheese and it did disappoint... the cheese on it was mostly crusted/burnt and the meat itself lacked with flavor. The side of fries were probably the best part of the meal but they were still meh at best and needed to be fried longer. I felt rushed as the same gentleman had brought the check within not even 10 minutes of me eating my food. Along with this, they started their closing duties very early which added to the feeling of being rushed. Overall, the place did not seem very welcoming and the food was very mediocre. Maybe next time I should try the breakfast instead because it looked a lot better. I still did tip but very little because it did not feel welcoming at all.

Here's my long-awaited review! After experiencing this gem of a restaurant with my girlfriend a couple of times, I couldn't resist introducing my husband to its culinary delights. I'd raved about the food, but I don't think he fully believed me until now. He's now a true believer, already planning our next visit before we even left the restaurant.

We indulged in the Baked Mushroom Skillet Omelets and the Traditional Breakfast, accompanied by delightful Oaxacan Café Lattes. Every dish was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation, cooked and seasoned to perfection. The attentive and friendly wait staff added to the pleasant atmosphere, making excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed.

Portions were generous, and the ambiance was relaxed yet inviting. This restaurant is undoubtedly a must-visit dining destination, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience.

My first time at Gina's party for 2, they sat us down right away; they asked what we wanted to drink. My wife suggested water for low so we could look at the menu. They brought our water in a clear vase and poured it as I went to take a drink of my water, and it had a funky smell.

I figured I would wait for the waitress to return and order a soft drink; we sat at the table for 15+min without acknowledgment; the place was not busy, so there was no excuse. After waiting for so long, we got up and left. The funny thing is on the way out, thanks us for coming. SMH

Gina's catering crew did a very great dinner!!! I was skeptical because this was our first experience with them but the reviews convinced me. I really was hoping for a served event but they were not available so we had to pick up. Therefore, we did not get the full experience. However, hopefully next time because I really looked forward to the presentations. Gina's Catering was amazing. EVERYONE wanted to know where we had the catered food. For not being a in-person dinner service it was awesome. ALL the food provided was top notch. We will definitely found a great catering service. We look forward to the next catered event!!! I will follow up with a great Yelp review. Still cannot believe how well prepared and tasteful the dishes were presented and tasted.
I would definitely recommend them. We had a 60-person catered dinner with a charcuterie, fruit platter, bruschetta, garden salad, Tri-tip, chicken penne pasta, rice pilaf, and vegetable medley. Everything was perfect!
I was so busy hosting and planning the surprise dinner celebration that I forgot to take photos...

Planning and ordering was quite simple. I know they were always busy and sometimes might be nice to talk to someone vs text but it's was all good I understood. Nice thing is they will work with your menu and mix and match or get creative. Just have patience and they respond via text quickly. For me I was just overwhelmed with planning a surprise dinner celebration and my first experience and had a lot of questions. However, they will answer your questions. lol They made sure there was enough food for the requested 60 people.

It's been awhile since I went out and had some really awesome food with an even better ambiance and better service.
First of all the food was off the chain!! the potatoes were super flavorful and crispy yet soft and this is some of the best Mexican breakfast food I've had in Rancho. I will definitely be back to try EVERYTHING on the menu!
Also the service and the people who work here really care about the people, the food they serve, and the restaurant. If it's a nice day sit outside it was absolutely beautiful.

I came here for my first time with my family on my birthday and everyone enjoyed it.

Food was amazing. It tasted fresh and the flavors were really well done. You could taste the care put into the food.

It is a small space and therefore not many people can be seated at once. There is some seating outside as well. We sat inside and it was good. The only downside was that it took 1hr to be seated. This isn't any of their fault as the wait is a testament to how many people love Gina's.

Service was good as well. Our waiter was nice and attentive.

I will say that the one thing that made this rating a 4 out of 5 is that we weren't given any silverware. We didn't really notice until the food came out. Then once we asked our waiter, he took awhile. Therefore our food was not as hot. And then some of the forks we got had some dried on food. I understand that this can happen with dishwashers and maybe it wasn't checked before going out. But that was a bit of a bummer since we had to wait again for another fork.

I cannot wait to come back here and try more dishes. Next time I will prepare for the longer wait. I hope to be able to try new things and maybe even bump up my rating to 5 stars.

Great location and atmosphere. Dishes all have great presentation. Our server did a great job.

We got a latte and a oaxcan hot chocolate and they were both good.

We got the chilaquiles and the huevos rancheros. We ordered chicken with the chilaquiles and I can't say that the chicken looked good. It appeared to be a boiled/baked piece that didn't go well despite mixing it altogether.

The huevos rancheros didn't have any flavor although it looked amazing. I added some much salt and I never got it to improve the taste.

This was my first visit to Gina's kitchen. Cozy little place located on the SouthWest corner of Haven and Foothill. Today's wait, on a weekday is only :20 minutes, but I've heard they have wait times up to an hour and a half. There is not much of an area to wait to be called, so it is a good thing that they offer text messages. You are able to walk around outside, or maybe wait in your car.

We were seated as promised after a short wait. I was ecstatic to try this new spot. When the waitress came over, I ordered a coffee and a water. My wife ordered a water and a latte. We got three of our drinks right away, but my wife's latte hadn't arrived. While we sat there wondering when it would arrive, the waitress came over and said she would check on the latte. The waitress came back a short moment later, and said another server accidentally gave it to a different patron. She made my wife another one, and brought it over a short moment later.

The waitress came by to take our order. I ordered the chorizo skillet, that came with a side of (4) tortillas. It was scrumptious!!! Thick juicy pieces of chorizo, mixed with delicious scrambled eggs and peppers. It's definitely a shareable plate at a price of $16-$18.

Our server was awesome. The place was super clean. I love the decorations on the wall, including the painting on the wall that was done by an artist, with the same exact name as me!! Looking forward to my next visit.
