Had a great time! we had the best server ever! His name is Nicco or Nikko not sure of the spelling however he was very attentive and I never had to flag him down even though he had other tables to serve. He was so laid back and always had a smile!

I will be returning in the next couple of weeks and I hope to get him again as my server. We need more people like him! Just a kind person.

Let's start off by saying there's 2 locations in this plaza. They both say open at the same time so we walked into one and there was no one there. We waited to see if someone would come and seat us and no one did even though the door was open so we walked over to the other one.

We get sat pretty quickly and we were there before the lunch rush so I guess it makes sense. Our server didn't seem to care about us very much as she didn't smile or care to engage with us at all but she's busy so again.....it's fine. She brought out our food and I had a huge long hair mixed into my rice. I didn't make a big deal but I brought it up to her and all she did was take the bowl and say she'd bring me another one.

The check took too long to come out so I had my family wait outside as I sat at the table to wait for her to pick up my card. 2 tables down from me someone put a big steak on their grill which lit up on fire and their server took the grill off and was walking in circles trying to put it out. After she failed, she put the grill top with the steak on fire on the floor right next to me as I'm sitting there alone waiting for my check.

Check finally comes back, I see I got charged for everything correctly which is ok but what about a comp for the hair that was in my mouth? No? Ok....I guess customer service and the experience are not something that matters. I still left my 18% tip and went on about my day but won't be returning. So many other places that are willing to cater to you and provide you with a better experience for less cost.

My husband and I went in today for lunch, to my surprise we were charged dinner rate because it is Easter Monday? Never even heard of that, is it Easter Tuesday tomorrow and will they charge dinner rate all day?
Anyway, our service was 1/10. First, we waited about 45 min to be seated when they told us it was 20-30 min wait time. Then Our waiter was just so busy and poor guy I felt sorry for him for the amount of tables he had to wait on BUT he was easily distracted. First thing I asked for was a lot of hot sauce and a lot of the cucumbers, because I eat those things with every bite of my food and I had to remind him about 3 different times. Then our meats weren't even coming out, we had bulgogi come out first and by the time we were done eating the bulgogi there were no signs of even the other meats coming out. We had to keep asking which I'm sure the waiter was annoyed with us but at times we were sitting ducks! Finally; when it was time to pay I gave the guy my card and I said just pay my bill bc I see how busy you are and it'll save him a trip. Horrible mistake, this guy charged me wagyu beef and some fried rice extra charge when I had NONE OF THAT! But he had already charged my card so again he took our card/bill to refund it and he couldn't so he gave us cash, which fine whatever!
But come on, we don't come here often, when I do, I like to have my cucumbers and the rice paper and not be intimidated for asking for a fork or cucumbers or meat, when this is what I'm paying for!! I don't blame the waiter, I blame the establishment for not having enough staff, if you guys claim today to be a "holiday" then you guys should've had more people on the floor. The main restaurant which is on the other side of the lot wasn't even open when we showed up, so we paid extra for lunch hour and everything about it sucked. From the drinks to the entrees down to the whole experience. Just terrible as I was such a fan of Gen house and this restaurant is the closest one to me.

Get here early! This place fills up quickly we got here at 5:30pm on a Tuesday. An hour later and there's a line out the door. I see why people love this place. Dinner is $29.95 all you can eat, 2 hr limit.

If you're hangry like me then this place is it. Our server got us sides, apps and meats super quick. It was all delicious and had him surprise us with dishes because I didn't know what to choose.

Mango island was ok, non-alcoholic. I love their potato salad and kimchi. Fried dumplings were great.

Parking can be a pain especially when it's busy.

Was in the area and wanted some KBBQ with my girlfriend. I've been to Gen's a ton of times and have come to expect slightly above average meats and service, but not now! My server went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed! He even gave us complimentary premium wagyu, which was so so rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. They also have some newer brisket? Which I felt was a lot thicker and premium than what they have had in the pasts. We got a big booth that was plenty spacious for all of the various meats we were ordering as well. All in all, I'm most definitely coming back because the quality of everything here has launched to new levels! Thank you, Gen!

Came here for team party lunch today. The service was great. The whole times, and our server was Kevin. Kevin was attentive and friendly to help us bringing every single thing (from plates of meats to every single straw, AND change the dirty cooking plates for our BBQ) we needed on the table. We did tip Kevin well though, but I still feel as.

I thought that the meat quality really was not that standard, but it's considered a very good deals for their lunch menu ($20) in this economy. I just had a feeling that since we came early lunch, he might have gotten leftover meat from the night before, but I'm not sure. I do notice people who order during late lunchtime got pretty okay quality meat though, so it's a hit and miss???

Overall is still a fun place for group lunch and affordable lunch deals. Oh and the musics are pretty good too!

The meat quality is amazing, high quality compared to other kbbq places. Dinner was $29.99 and it includes all items on the menu including appetizers.

The service was slow, not sure if they are under staff but our experience with our server wasn't memorable. We didn't get a lot of items that were already setup on other tables. We needed to ask for our side items. It was my first time here and I wasn't too impressed with the service.

Ambiance is good, the ventilation was good here. Music level was good, it wasn't obnoxiously loud like some other kbbq places.

Never a bad time here at Gen's love it here and the service is great been coming here for time

Stop forgetting phone orders. It has happened 3 times in a row and then when we show up to pick it up say "they are still working on it" when clearly they forgot. On the phone they said give us 30 min. 30 min later we show up still working on it give us 30 min. That tells me you never started the order. Do better
