At this time that I am typing this, Gates Auto have my car. I worked with Gates in the past and they are always and forever be my first and last choice.

My car had issues recently, I had to take to another reputable local shop due to distance, will keep the name anonymous for now. I left with $250 (towing & diagnostics) without a single thing done, after 7 days! oh I was told it is a wiring problem. I was also told it will take 5, 6 hours which "will cost you alot of money".

So I towed it to Gates yesterday, and they called me after a look this AM, they say, 1-2 hours to fix the wiring, and they called me before 2 hours and it is DONE. 7 vs, less than a day, and 2 vs 6 hours of work, just imagine the hourly labor money difference you are paying. And they also found secondary issues, which I kind of knew, and they are fixing it now, I gave them the green light to fix whatever they think I need because I have 100% trust in their ethics, practice and skills. They are not expensive either. This should be your first choice; your car is your baby and this is THE very most trustworthy clinic.

Guy wouldn't work on my car cause I bought my own parts i don't know what type of business there running but I would think they would want to help the customers and at least charge me for labor so the fact that they couldn't screw me over in both ways and I bought my own parts he wouldn't work on my car and was very rude about it then wanted to show me the same exact car he has that I'm trying to get worked on like so much for the help I couldn't believe it. Every other mechanic shop will tell you bring your own parts and we will jus charge for labor but nope not this guy he wants to screw you all the way around.

Outstanding customer service! The mechanics at this auto service center were attentive and took the time to listen to my concerns. They addressed all the issues with my car and provided cost-effective solutions. I appreciate their dedication and expertise. Highly recommended!

Gates has never worked on my car but so grateful for their straightforward and reliable referral. My ignition locked up on my Honda, and my mechanics could not fix and told me I would likely have to use dealer and would likely lotsa dollars but the reviews on both Lville dealers very sketchy. So I started calling well-rated auto shops and Gates listened to my description and immediately said "Call Cooks Lock Svcs- they'll fix and are good to work with." They did and they were but great thx to Gates for the assistance. I was impressed the took the time to listen and help when no$ to them. Thx!!!

These wonderful people are incredibly professional and do excellent work! I've never once had a complaint about price, work completed, or timeframes quoted. Whatever your issue, they will hear you out, run the necessary diagnostics, and get right down to the issue at hand.
Also, if you ever need a tire patched in an emergency, these are your guys!

Literal scam. Charged me $96 to tell me my air compressor needed replacement which i already knew and i had already told them on the phone before i brought it to them. i've taken my car to them FOUR times and only left with repair one time. the first time i took my car they told me nothing was wrong and then it broke down on me a few days later. then they charged me hundreds of dollars to fix the actual problem that they missed the first time leading to me paying for a tow truck because the car wouldn't run. took my car again and they told me the heating coils weren't good but i didn't need to replace it because it "wasn't going to do anything to the car". then my AC stopped working (randomly) telling me the compressor was out so i took it to them for repair and they wanted over $1,100 to fix it so i declined. when we went to pick up the car after they spent a whole two seconds looking at this morning they charged $96. my boyfriend went inside because i was too angry to talk to them and he said the cashier was disrespectful and mumbling under his breath when he had a complaint about the price. they are ripping people off.

Great service. Took time and care and was very flexible. Was having trouble identifying my problem at other places and they found and fixed it right away. Highly recommend.

I can not say enough of good things; family owned business and top tier service at affordable prices! They are always busy because everyone knows when you find Mechanics one trusts, that's where you go. They been in business for over 50 years.
