About the Business
Our main attraction is the hand blown glass selection. We are known and recognized all over the country for Chris Belleau's amazing work, including the tree vases and wave sculptures. We have exquisite glass flowers and vases, in addition to our stunning glass fish and pumpkins - all specialties and original creative concepts by Chris. But really, there's so much more! Our gallery also hosts a variety of spectacular local and not so local artists. Come see us and do so often, there is always something new and beautiful to wonder at here. From glass, to metalwork, clay and jewelry, we are proud to offer fantastic art for every taste and every pocket.

Driving down Wickeden Gallery Belleau is a beacon within the city scape. it has caught my eyes many times, I mean how can it now? Beautiful glass pieces adorning the glass windows in beautiful shades, catching the light sometimes... just calling me in for a visit! I just love glass...
We were getting dinner at Fellini's and drive by again. I had some time to kill so we went inside. I was not disappointed. A store filled, almost every crevice, with glass pieces. Mushrooms, mermaids, flowers, little animals, tiki glasses, etc... So much to look at. Sitting on shelves, hanging from the ceiling...
The employee became very personable when I engaged her about my love of glass. She told the two 11 year olds I was with about a box in the back of the store they could each pick out a piece of free sea glass. They loved that! she gave me the owners business card alerting me that you can go to his studio and watch him make glass pretty much during daytime hours and not far from the gallery. Pretty cool!
The prices- range from super affordable to pricey but it's glass and general handmade craftsmanship. Expected. I did buy a beautiful blue flower to replace one that had broken from an unstable shelf incident a few years ago for $20. I bought a small ceramic bowl that was from a local artist. Inside the bowl had an image of the RI State house inside (a gift.) Also each pre-teen got to pick a little glass figure that were $4 a piece. They loved this!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Wendy C.Providence, RI01Sep 14, 2022

Definitely a must visit when in the Providence area. Easy parking and near the foot bridge over to India Point Park.
Beautiful glass products starting at $20 up. A very nice informed sales person who made us feel at home.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Peter C.FL, FL65913Dec 21, 2019

dropped in for the first time today to look around, the woman behind the counter was extremely knowledgeable about everything in the store (emphasis on EVERYTHING) and wicked friendly. most of the glass art is made by local artists & super unique. wish i could give a bonus star for the shop dog bucky, we'll definitely be back again!

As soon as you walk in the door you are assaulted by a tsunami of colors, shapes and creatively. This is a place that I would pay just to come in and look around. It's tantamount to having a nuclear blast of hue, iridescence and contours hit your optical nerve and over load your sensory capabilities. It's difficult to focus on one area because so many pieces are visually screaming, "look at me". This place is dripping originality and creatively.
Many of the items are glass, extremely colorful and mesmerizing pieces of glass. Every shape and form imaginable, seductively serpentine and anfractuous, many seem to be reaching out and trying to grab anyone with the audacity to walk by without paying the proper respect due such an stunning piece of art.
Glass flowers in all shapes and sizes, intricate little fishies and even an incredible flowing, sinuous octopus that seems to turn the reflection of light into movement. Absolutely fascinating stuff. Other sea creatures like star fish actually seem to imitate chameleons and turn different colors depending on the surface.
Gorgeous pieces of hand made glass jewelry and original and humorous metal animal forms complete the exhilarating sensory obliteration.
Sure, many of the pieces in Belleau Gallery aren't cheap. However the entire place is such a visually delightful and delirious cornucopia of shapes and colors that it is impossible to leave with out seeing something you definitely don't need but desperately lust over and will probably buy.Helpful 16Thanks 0Love this 17Oh no 0 - Silvia R.Franconia, NH1389338Sep 20, 2018

Great little store on Wickenden. Chris and Svetlana are very friendly and welcoming. I bought a glass and a purple and green pumpkin here recently. The art is high quality and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely stop in again

I've seen the glass work from Gallery Belleau several times at the local art shows, The Foundry Holiday Show mostly, but this was my first time visiting their actual shop.
As soon as you walk in, it's hard to know where to look. The shop is covered floor to ceiling with glass - ornaments, pumpkins, other vegetables, flowers, vases, and paper weighs. The colors are beautiful, and the craftsmanship is evident in many of the pieces.
However, my favorite part of the shop was actually what some would call the trash. On the floor in the back is a chest filled with glass remnants. While I can't afford a lot of what the shop has on display, I can spend a fair amount of time looking through this pile of glass remnants for interesting colors and shapes.
There are other surprises to be found at Gallery Belleau: from earrings and iron statutes ( my favorites are actually the bike chain snakes) to small ornaments at a very reasonable price and glass beaded bracelets. I definitely feel like Gallery Belleau is one of the those places that you can't see all in one visit.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Samina K.DeWitt, NY01Aug 6, 2019
I was picking out a gift for my mom, and the woman who was working there at the time, Maddy, was really helpful. She answered all my questions and did a great job helping me pick out a few nice pieces. My mom loved them!
