Franklin County RV Park

Great spot. Very close to everything you need or want from food to hardware. The Park is always clean, including bathroom. Susan, the manager, is always there to handle problems if they should arise. She also keeps you updated on anything that maybe a problem. She is very personable and approachable. She will work with you to get a spot that works for your rig, if one is better than the one reserved for you, if one is available.

I booked our site (Site #20) online a couple of days before our arrival. We were only staying for one night. Nothing online said that the sites were restricted on the length of the RVs. Upon arrival at the scheduled check-in time, we found that our site was still occupied. We checked with the camp hosts and they initially couldn't find our reservation and gave us the impression that the online booking had been a problem in the past. The camp hosts were an elderly husband and wife team who seemed to be a bit confused. Finally, they found a handwritten note to themselves saying that our site was changed by the owners to Site #15. Our original site was a back-in site adjacent to the outside fence. The new site was a shared site with two RVs backed up to each other. Unfortunately, the other RV in the site had backed too far over the shared line which made Site 15 too short for our 40 feet long motorhome. We asked the camp hosts if there was another site available that we could use that would fit our length. They told us all the sites were the same size, and that Site 16 which backed up to the outside fence was available for the one night we needed. They said we could back as far back into the site and over the grass as we needed to fit our motorhome into it. In addition, they said the lawnmowers would not be coming tomorrow morning so we should be ok to overhang the grass. Unfortunately, it was not possible to back farther into the site because each site has immovable concrete tire bumpers that are anchored to the parking slab that keep RVs from backing up too far. As a result, we back in as far as we could and still put our stabilizer jacks down, but it left our mirror sticking out in the road. Rather than try to find another site, we just put up some caution tape and cones to keep traffic from clipping our mirror. To top off the confusion, the lawn mowing company did in fact show up the next morning and mowed the grass all the way around each RV. Good thing we weren't able to back up further, or we may have caused a problem with the mowers. After it was all said and done, I think the RV park was a good value at $40/night with the Good Sam discount which includes all the taxes too. We probably won't come here again with our current motorhome since the park is a bit small for our needs.

This RV Park is absolutely amazing! The area and the management are very kind. I honestly wish that the maximum stay was longer than 6 months because I would stay here as long as I can. I've had no issues and people clean up after their pets.
There is not a swimming pool or jacuzzi but other than that everything is perfect.
Beautiful lawns and well kept up.
