Founders Tavern & Grill

I have been to Founders a few times now and have enjoyed the service, food, and drinks here!

Out on errands and need to fuel up, this is a go to for sure as service is prompt and friendly without compromise to the quality of the food. I can't get enough of the spring chicken sandwich. Oh, and the fries here... liken the replica of Thrasher's in OC, no?! And the drinks?! I've not had one that wasn't strong!

Glad this is an option whenever I'm in the area and a halfway point for friends and I. Lunch or dinner, Founders is fantastic!

Went for a lite fare and drinks. It was a pricey but service was amazing, food was amazing, and drinks were just the right amount of strong.

Please let them serve you, amazing lemon pizza with red sauce, pork belly fat was WOW the drinks were so amazing! Can't wait to come back!!

Solid local choice- food was great- nice atmosphere. We hadn't been there in a while and forgot how good it is. We'll be back...great fried chicken.

The service was amazing! Our server, Dorothy, went out of her way to make our meal and our experience as positive and lovely as possible. The burgers we ordered were fabulous, as well!

Not much selection but the fried chicken i got was pretty good, water taste funky and they one have unsweetened tea

Food was good took a bit longer than expected to get my curb side pick up other than that it was good.

My son recently moved to the area, so we wanted to dine out in his area for a home cooked meal. The restaurant seemed nice from what I had read. When we arrived, the atmosphere was nice.
I ordered the short ribs with mashed potatoes and spinach. My husband ordered the Founders meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My son who is a connoisseur of burgers, ordered one of the Tavern burger with cheese. The short ribs were hard on the outside, dry, tough & chewy on the inside. I was really looking forward to a tender braised short rib; it was not moist at all as I hoped for! The mashed potatoes and spinach (chewy) were just okay. My husband's meatloaf was not so moist either. My son's cheeseburger was also not moist. The wide sliced tomato and bun consumed the meat patty. The service was great, our waitress was professional and kind. I'm not sure we'll return.

Visited Founders Tavern & Grill on yesterday and really enjoyed everything.

We called ahead to see if they took reservations and they said that they didn't for parties under 8 people.

However, the restaurant was not busy and the host staff was great. We were seated as soon as we arrived.

Our server was great in recommend the specials for the night. Her service was very tentative and detailed.

The ambiance is great it is a nice place if you don't feel like dressing up but still want to enjoy impeccable food.

We started with the hot honey pork belly and both had the short ribs. Both were amazing.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for affordable good food.

Lovely meal tonight on the patio. Service was great. They brought out our kids Mac and cheese quickly for our kids, which we appreciate! My gin strawberry drink was so tasty with a really nice sugary rim. My husband got a whiskey drink he liked. I got the spring chicken sandwich and it was nice and light . The lemon Mayo spread was really great. My husband got the Nashville chicken sandwich and said it was really good. The buns on both were good! Overall a good experience!
