Best bfast spot in Lemont. (Rustic Knead a close 2nd)
Huge portions. Huge menu. Reasonable prices. Fair amount of Mexican inspired bfast cuisine. Like chorizo tacos. Also have seen Polish food sometimes like sausage and pierogies and potato pancakes.
You can get smooothies here tooHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Randy M.Homer Glen, IL27254Apr 25, 2024
Great food and service. Can be quite busy though!!! Preferred locale for the Gluten Free options (Celiac).

A hidden gem in a strip mall. The menu had a variety of breakfast and lunch food. I had the breakfast tacos with breakfast potatoes and everything was delicious. The restaurant was crowded but surprisingly large on the inside. Waitress was very kind and attentive. We will definitely come back again.

What an awesome breakfast/lunch/brunch establishment in Lemont! I adore places that serve a lot of vegetarian options! I'm a lunch person and the husband is all about breakfast. Best of both worlds to be had here!
I went with the Veggie Panini, as it's so difficult to find a good restaurant that caters to vegetarians. Fork and Spoon did not disappoint! Everything sounded so good that I felt conflicted on what to order. The husband went with the Avocado Scrambler, of course.
My Panini came with soup and fries. I asked our waitress if the soup was vegetarian. She insisted it was. To be sure, I asked again verifying no beef or chicken base, was told no. However, it had that flavor when I tried it and so I didn't want to chance getting sick. It looked so fresh and homemade, though! Wish there was an easier way to figure out the truth. The Panini was absolutely delicious! It had an abundance of veggies such as yellow peppers, eggplant, and spinach with a garlic mayo kind of spread. So good! The fries came out fresh and seasoned. Yummers!
My husband enjoyed his Scrambler and I couldn't agree more with the sample I did taste. So many veggies and avocados in a large portion! The youngest also enjoyed the pancakes that came with the Scrambler.
Prices are very reasonable when you think about it. Entrees range from $12-$15, but they do not skimp on the portion sizes!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Hellene,
Thanks for taking time to write this review. The Navy Bean, Vegetable, and Lentil soups are vegetable base. No meat or meat bases. Thanks again! - Captain R.Lemont, IL02410Dec 27, 2023
The service is Fantastic. The price is at your typical price point for breakfast now a days. There is plenty of seating. On Sunday morning they get pretty busy so you may have to wait if you don't get there early. Nice size omelettes. I would recommend stopping in to give them a try.

Such a great breakfast gem! The service was great. I loved my mimosa and the beat corn beef hash I've had in awhile! 10/10 recommend. The place was nice too and very open! Not too many people in there but also not empty!

I took a friend out to breakfast here for her birthday. We called in advance to avoid the "Sunday breakfast crowd " that they said usually started around 9:30. We arrived around 915, the place was bumping, and we were seated right away. I had two babies with me, so we ordered their meals right away. All was going smoothly at this point. The only turnoff was our waitress- she was extremely pushy and tried to take our order over 5 times in about 10 minutes. I was tending to my babies and trying to say hello to my friend before we ordered and at this point there wasn't even people waiting for a table so it felt very pushy. It was also obvious they had regulars, which is great, but staff was very attentive and more interested in those patrons. I usually enjoy the banter with the waitstaff and always appreciate their hard work, but she wasn't interested in us in the slightest.
The food was amazing! The breakfast potatoes were the best I've ever had! They had so much flavor and you could see the spices in every bite. My kids had grilled cheese and pancakes- they were both very happy! My friend enjoyed the breakfast burrito and said it was quite tasty. I think next time we will order the food to go because it was that delicious.
Overall their food is top notch and worth a try!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
