Ford's Filling Station

A solid airport restaurant with better service than most. The server at the bar was very kind which, let's be honest, can really impact your waiting experience, especially if your flight is delayed!

I came for breakfast and my food was out within 10 minutes. I ordered the American Breakfast and a coffee. Like all airport food, the price isn't worth it for what you get (eggs and sausage were a bit lukewarm), but I actually really liked the potatoes.

If you're looking for a place to kill time, this is a decent choice.

My wife and I had lunch here during a layover in LAX.

I had the BLTA sandwich. It was decent. The fries that came with the sandwich were fine. I had an overpriced draft IPA with my sandwich.

It was busy, but we were seated quickly. The service was good.

It was expensive (airport), but decent.

Ok airport food with pretty good service. We had a long layover at LAX, so this place got the job done.

Breakfast ends at 10am sharp. No more pancakes or eggs. Only salads and sandwiches for 20$.
It's not crowded, since place is pricy and doesn't have much to choose from.

The original Ford's Filling Station was located in Culver City and closed in 2014. I never had a chance to dine there but, as luck would have it, this offshoot was located directly next to our gate so we sat at the bar for a pre-flight cocktail.

Destination Unknown caught our attention. Aptly named for our upcoming travels. Consisting of Charbay Meyer Lemon Vodka, Tito's Vodka, Pomegranate, & Lime - it was delicious and refreshing but way overpriced. We also shared the Warm BBQ Potato Chips - made from fresh potatoes they were light & crispy and had a nice flavor and were even better when dipped in ranch dressing.

For airport food it is great! I had a BLT and some warm barbecue chips. The chips are not made in the house though, just warmed up here before serving. Spicy hot.

Very good thick cut bacon an equally good rustic white toast.

It's good food irrespective of its location. The 19.00 price let's you know where you are eating it.

Horrific & Filthy! Tables were so dirty, salt and pepper shakers covered with old sauce, and even pieces of lettuce stuck to the sides. It looks like one bothered to clean the floor in a few weeks. Staff were unbelievably slow, rude, and incompetent. We waited over ten minutes to be seated when over 50% of the tables were empty, and we had to wait another 10 minutes just to get a menu. The kitchen took over 30 minutes to make an order of disgusting wings, and soggy fries. We asked for our order to go because everything took so long, and the staff did not bother to include napkins, and there was no ranch, or blue cheese, and no utensils, or ketchup for the fries.

We stopped here to eat on our flight recently to New York and all. I ordered there Fish Tacos which were decent in taste. French fries were ok too, Nice spot to grab a bite to eat, while waiting for your flight and all. There pulled pork sandwiches look good too. I'd like to try that one next time.

Good place to sit and waste time before your flight.

Yes, the food and drinks are over price for what they are, you're at an airport. The service is slow because they are packed. There are not that many sit down restaurants in the terminal. Also, the ambience is nonexistent.

But if what you're looking for is a beer and quick bite before your flight, this place is fine. We had a burger and some tacos with some beer, and it hit the spot before the plane ride. I will add some pictures of our food so you can see the quality, but honestly, it was a lot better than what I was expecting.

Located in Terminal 5 Delta, Los Angeles Airport. I know the LA Airport is busy busy busy and crowded with international travelers but.....that still shouldn't be a standard for lack luster service.

After waiting to be served for over 20 minutes we didn't have time to place an order before boarding started.

We tried just to order a drink at the counter but when someone actually came over to take our drink order, they didn't have what we wanted. Hence the bar is not a full service bar.

We knew we didn't really have a lot of time to grab something to eat but we took the chance.

Maybe if we had someone acknowledge us, and taken our order right away, we would have made it in time with a full belly for our flight. What we got was a tiny bag of pretzels, and a cup of eater for dinner on the plane.
