We are unique in that you can feed our alpacas (and chickens) as well as meet some of the alpacas we have rescued. Proceeds from our Farm Shop are used for the rescue and re-homing of alpacas.

Great way to spend a couple hours. Extremely knowledgeable and caring owners who are dedicated to animal welfare. The alpaca and llama don't like to be touched but love to eat and get close to you. There are babies right now too! Great stories about all the animals and their mission. Just heartwarming.
Great little shop as well to buy Christmas gifts including socks, ornaments, stuffed animals and yarn. Great small biz to visit and support animals.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 30, 2021
Is it a little too harsh for me to admit that I like animals more than humans? They have such pure souls. I'm at an age where I am comfortable with who I am and have been seeking out more "wholesome" activities to do because life just has so much more to offer than the superficial things that aren't sustainable.
This experience was truly cuteness overload. Who ever knew this even existed, good thing I saw my friend posted about it. The gps will take you to the gift shop which can be a bit easy to miss since it just looks like a residential house from the front, but there's nothing else out there to turn into so you'll end up at the right place. You start the tour with an introduction about the organization and the effort they go through to rescue alpacas. Then you go out to the back where the barn is and a squad of alpacas are ready to come out to greet you...as long as you have treats for them. They have no front teeth and will not bite, they just nibble the treats off your hand. They all have names and you'll quickly identify who is who.
Right now during covid, it's appointments only, but booking online for a tour is really easy. Private tours are $5, but it really much ended up being a private tour for us since we're the only one that booked that specific time slot. They also offer alpaca yoga, but it's only available on weekends.
Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Aug 8, 2021
Alpaca Yoga classes! What a fun way to spend an hour in Kent. A peaceful yoga class for all levels in the middle of the alpacas!
This is a cute little rescue farm that is helping alpacas in need. They offer private tours and have a nice little gift shop as well.
I hope they do these classes again next summer.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 15, 2021
Excellent experience!!! Leanna was so informative and friendly. My kids and I did the private tour ($10/person) which was very well worth it versus the shared experience ($5/person). She started us by showing us some photos and sharing information about them. Then we were led to the pastures where the alpacas have plenty of room and option to go into the barn. We got to feed them while Leanna told us more about them. I love how they she took the time to tell us all their names and some background info on each. You can tell they're taken care of.
I just want to say what they do is not for profit, it is to help and rescue these animals. They are doing something beautiful. DONATE IF YOU CAN & GO SUPPORT THEM while learning something new about these beautiful animals! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience that my kids will always remember!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 23, 2019
Who would expect to find a small Alpaca Farm in Fife? They are so cute and friendly! As soon as we were in sight, the alpacas trotted over to greet us. We fed them while the owner introduced us to the herd and told us about their rescue program. There's a gift shop with yarn and other items made from alpaca fibers. They sell fresh eggs from their own free range chickens and you can sign up for alpaca yoga classes! They are open Friday and Saturday 12-4pm.

What a wonderful little farm and shop! Visited here with a friend and our toddlers in early December. We were given pellets to feed the alpacas and also chicken feed to toss to the chickens. The proprietress was very friendly, telling us about the alpacas (some of whom are rescues).
They have a little shop on site that sells yarn spun from the fur of their alpacas and also alpaca yarn from other yarn manufacturers. They also sell items made from their alpacas' yarn, and other commercially made alpaca items; greeting cards and other small items. Prices were comparable to what you would expect to pay at a yarn store.
Located pretty close to I-5, easily accessible for people who pass through Fife. Definitely worth a visit, whether you have kids who would like to feed the animals or you're a knitter looking for yarn.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Danielle V.Milton, WA18Dec 2, 2018
I've always loved alpacas and llamas, and although they are frequently seen around the Puget Sound area, they're usually too flighty (and on private property!) to visit with. Not so at Firwood Farm! The owner greeted us as soon as we pulled up, and, bypassing her store, took us immediately to the stars of the show - her herd of alpaca ladies and their guard llama! We fed them, petted them, and enjoyed the owner's company. She gave us the history of all the animals, including several rescues. After making dreams come true, we headed into the well-stocked shop. If you're looking for a wide variety of alpaca-style yarn, this is your place! Premade socks, hats and scarves are also a highlight, as are all the llama trinkets. I'm excited to go back.

It has been a little while since I was last in, but when I last went it I was very pleased with the yarn and the workers, very nice and helpful and I love the fact that they rescue their animals. I would definitely recommend this place to other knitters/crocheters and will return to buy more :)
