My daughter has been taking riding lessons here since March of this year. She's been riding off and on for the last few years and we moved here from horse town USA, Norco. This is a great riding center. Trainer Laura is amazing and she is so great with the students. She is patient and really teaches. All the school horses are are great and very well taken care of.. They teach/train all levels, from beginners to advanced. My daughter's riding has improved so much since starting here and she loves it.
The pricing is very reasonable and I think you get so much more vs other riding schools/centers we've been too. All the staff is attentive and courteous. The barn area is always clean and organized.
There are quite a few riding schools in the area and we checked them out. I am so happy we landed here.
      We love FFF!

We absolutely love it at First Field Farm! Our 10-year-old daughter has developed so much within the first month of lessons she's had here. Laura is an amazing trainer. The small group lessons are really fun and our daughter always works on a new skill. Their lesson horses are all really great too. We just can't say enough positive things about these stables. We highly recommend First Field Farm and Laura to anyone wanting a high quality learning experience in a super family friendly environment!

First-rate, correct, and classic training for horse and rider. Excellent care for the horses. They offer services for people with their own horses and also have a lesson program that provides a variety of suitable lesson horses and ponies. Everyone--clients, trainers, and staff--is supportive and helpful. It really is a wonderful atmosphere.

For those who want to show, they attend a variety of horse shows, usually about two a month.

They helped me to purchase my current horse and the entire process was professional, ethical, and pleasant.

The training program is located within a larger facility, B&B Stables. The training program has a ring, lunging pen, and turnout for the exclusive use of its clients and horses. There are several other rings and turnouts on site. Stalls are cleaned daily and copious quantities of shavings are provided.

We have gone here to watch our granddaughter during her riding lessons. I don't know anything about horses, or stables, and can only speak from a layman's point of view - so I will.

The young lady who conducted my granddaughter's lessons was very personable, very encouraging, and kept up non-stop feedback and instruction to our granddaughter as she put her though the paces. Sometimes our granddaughter shared the training area with other students and the instructor kept up with all of them, staying cheerful the entire time.

Afterward, our granddaughter was tasked to clean and brush the horse before they retired him to his stall. I liked the idea she learned things like this about taking care of horses as part of her lesson. At 8 years old, she wasn't entirely up to the job, but the instructor let her go as far as she could, keeping an eye on her and on what was accomplished with the horse before she stepped in to help.

The staff seems very friendly... they seem to enjoy their jobs (and charges) and it was always a pleasure to go here for our granddaughter's lessons. Good work!

I've been riding at first field for about 4 months now and absolutely love it. I started riding 16 years ago and have ridden in several different riding programs, but riding at First Field with Christie is definitely one of the best riding experiences I've had (and I've had lots of great experiences!). I love the patient and knowledgeable approach that Christie has to training, and walk away feeling that I had fun yet was challenged and learned something new each lesson. Very friendly, relaxed laid back atmosphere, while also being a place to grow and excel in your riding abilities! Awesome place and awesome instructor, would recommend to the serious, experienced rider and the beginner alike!

      ****RIDERS BEWARE****

I took classes here and the last time I was there, I was trained by Christy for a group session of three people. First of all, they messed up the schedule so I had to share the training session with another person and paid the same price. Christy was very impatient and had a lot of attitude. When I was getting on the horse, Christy told me the horse had a weight limit. I told her I rode the same horse last week with another instructor and they were okay with it.

Throughout the training, she was doing some one-on-one training with the other two girls BUT ME. Christy DID NOT teach me anything. She even told me to just walk most of the time. Right when the clock hit the 30 minutes mark, she came up to me and said, " have you had enough?" And asked me to get off the horse while the other two students were still being trained for about ten minutes and I just stood there and watched. From my understanding, private lessons were $50 for 30 minutes and group sessions $50 for 45 minutes. I was only on the horse for 30 minutes without any training. It was almost like a trail ride for double the price.

The whole thing DID not make sense to me and I felt offended when she told me there's a WEIGHT LIMIT on the horse and asked me to get off when others were still on their horse. I am 5"4 and weight 134. I might be on the chubby side but I am not FAT!!!! I called the manager and explained what had happened and how Christy insulted me with her rude comments. As a result, the manager offered a refund for the session BUT told me don't ever go back because they're not interested in training me. Maybe they think I am too FAT for their horse or they dislike Asian. For whichever reason, I wouldn't recommend anyone that's not on the skinny side to ride at this place.

First Field Farm is an excellent place to board your horse/train or lesson through the riding school. Trainers are experienced and gifted, top-notch professionals. I love that the FFF riding program accommodates brand new beginners to circuit competitors and everyone in between. All while maintaining excellent, traditional riding standards in a safety-conscious environment. Horses in-training are exercised daily, very well cared for and well-maintained. Stalls are cleaned every day and fresh shavings provided several times a week. Stable management is well-organized with scheduled vet visits and farrier services. And, the "barn family" here is fantastic! Very supportive group who really look-out for one another. Great framework for success. I really cherish my time here and highly recommend FFF.

I was very pleased with being able to walk around and check out the place. I was greeted by Jose and given information on what services are provided. I plan to get some lessons soon now that I had a welcomed visit.
