Surprising great food for what seems like a small local spot. Must've asked us 100 times and never noticed it before until my girlfriend said you gotta try this place. Her daughter and boyfriend came home raving about the food here so here we are and we had an amazing delicious dinner.

We shared the grilled octopus as an appetizer and then went onto our entrées. The octopus was our appetizer. The octopus was soft and delicious delightfully flavored, and there was plenty of it.

We had the Giro platter and the spinach pie or a main dish. Platter was so wonderful. The lamb was so tender and soft and deliciously flavored. It came with seasoned rice, a small salad and pita bread really exceptional.

Then we finished off with baklava and it was practically too big to finish a great portion. And by the way, they have beer on an excellent price.

Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful evening at the Federal Republic restaurant here in lighthouse point and I assure you we will be back again and again.

This is one hidden gems in Pompano that I secretly enjoy. The ambience is pleasant and clean, great service and the food is fresh and delicious. I try Orzo with grill shrimp, absolutely fantastic, Kale salad is fenomenal. Good portions and reasonable prices. Is an open kitchen,tv, table for a big group or small, also single tables, perfect for me that I work with my computer, access to wi-fi, tables outside as well. Highly recommended.

I have eaten here several times now. (That alone ought a tell you how good it is). We have eaten inside and ordered to go and either way the food was delish! Lots of Greek to chose from but this little gem is now our favorite. The feta is outstanding, the gyro meat and sandwiches are killer and the lamb souvlaki is my fav! The lemon potato's are delish. Clean, efficient and delicious food. Good job!!!

Best Gyro in the Pompano Beach / Fort Lauderdale area! Had a lot of disappointing Greek food while visiting from Los Angeles and thought I would give this place a shot and they definitely delivered! The meat was soft, juicy and flavorful, the pita bread is warmed on the pan, everything was delicious! I will come again when I visit next time!

Located in Lighthouse Point this step mall restaurant is great to dine in or take out.
Yesterday I chose the latter.
Ordering a gyro sandwich with fries to go, I received an abundance of gyro meat stuffed into a pita with a large side order of House made fries.
The meat sandwich in itself was good but could have used a bit more Thahini sauce. The fries had a nice flavor but did not travel well and were a bit soggy.
I recommend if you want a quick Greek meal you might consider Fetta Republic but enjoy it there rather than to go.

This little gem is in our back yard. Had i not suggested we try this restaurant, my boyfriend somehow has overlooked it. Located in a shopping center with a few other of our favorite places, I was craving a Greek Salad. Wow! What a great salad i got. It was amazing and i wanted more! The delicious chicken Slouvaki skewer came with the salad.

Our server may also have been the manager / owner LOL. It is a very small place but very clean and the food was definitely elevated which is why the prices are a little high. It is all very fresh and very authentic. We had a really fun send off and will be back for more of all that good stuff!

I love how every time I walk into this place, I feel lm surrounded by family! The entire staff is on point and attentive all the while running a steady "To-go" business.
