Meh the sickies just around the corner taste better. Portion, taste and presentation is not worth the hype here. The portion of the fries with the burger not enough. It was either over cooked or re fried because it tasted old. the burger taste was unspeakable. It just didn't taste good. Like it taste uncooked. The shredded romaine does not go with burger. Either leave it unshredded/sliced or change it. Our desserts were good BUT like I mentioned the presentation is NOT there. Overall, would not recommended this establishment. I would NOT recommend this establishment as I look more into the pictures...the presentation of the dessert it DOES not look clean whatsoever. Fingernail indentation mark on my bun...EEEWWW. The dessert was good just NOT clean presentation. They were not even busy either and even if they were, presentation should ALWAYS be CLEAN. Did I mention I work at a restaurant? So attention to detail is crucial.
Our server even forgot to give us utensils til I asked the food runner for a napkin and brought us our utensils. I think the only thing that was probably pleasant was the hostess with the greeting. Ambiance was also meh that's why I give it a two star instead of a one starHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Apr 1, 2023
Had a work lunch at Farmtable and it was planned at the last minute; I called ahead to warm them our group of 10 would be there in about 40 minutes - they said no problem and had it set up and ready to go for us when we got there! We were staggered arriving, thankfully they didn't make the group wait for everyone to arrive. The waitress knew she was going to have her hands full and handled it like a champ!
We had never been to Farmtable before and I needed something close to work that wasn't the usual found in Town Square. The reviews on Yelp made it a risk and made me nervous since I picked it for our entire group! Thankfully everyone enjoyed everything and boy was it a variety off the menu! Some got salads, some had full on breakfast and others had sandwiches.
The cornbread!!!!!! Do not skip on the corn bread and berry butter!!!!!
I definitely want to go back and try some more menu items.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 18131430Jan 18, 2023
This restaurant is located in Town Square near the end of the strip. I like the layout of the restaurant, but the tables were a bit tight and they also had the larger tables grouped together so seating was also snug. We were seated almost immediately, but service was slow in comparison to the few tables that were occupied.
Refills took awhile, some of the appetizers came out after the food, and the dessert came out while we were just digging into the main entree. The collard greens and red beans and rice were extremely salty. The lobster and hushpuppies were pretty bland. The butter that I received to dip the lobster in was extremely sweet and not clarified. The dessert was actually pretty decent but the ice cream melted by the time I could actually enjoy it.
For the price of the meals, I expected better food. I can't say that I will go back, but If I did, it may be to try the brunch. I Iove food, but I want what I pay to match the food consumed.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 3 - Dec 12, 2022
Came for brunch. I had the best fried chicken of my life here. Ordered the chicken and waffles. Waffles were meh, but ooohhh, that chicken. Told the waiter to please inform the chef that made the chicken.
Seems to be aiming for southern charm on the decor.
Good waiter and friendly hostess.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Nov 26, 2022
Farmtable Kitchen and Spirits is located in Town Square (near Guitar Center and Yard House). They have a pretty big menu ranging from brunch/breakfast specialties (I love the orange blossom honey biscuits!), lunch and dinner (fried chicken, sandwiches, southern dishes).
During my most recent visit I tried the:
Beef short rib grilled cheese which was delicious - it's sweet tea braised beef and cheese piled high between two slices of brioche.
Fried Chicken - brined in sweet tea (so it is sweet).
I really liked these dishes and the service was excellent and very attentive. No complaints there.
Why 4 stars instead of 5? I have not had any luck with breakfast there - the waffles were very cold the one time that I ordered them and I think I'd like to see more variety - perhaps pancakes or French toast on the menu. From the breakfast items I really like their biscuits - which are excellent. So I always get a side of those!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 22141331Dec 2, 2022
If you're a diabetic & can't have salt or seasoning this is your place! There is zero taste ZERO!!!
We ordered the Turkey legs & I've been never tasted a turkey leg so BLAND in my life! It didn't even have pepper!! The carrots were not cooked & hard. The homemade salad dressing I swear was water lol WATER!
NOTHING HAD FLAVOR!
The most flavor was the lemon in my water lol
The service is great! So if you're a diabetic or about to do a bodybuilder competition this is your place! Healthy & flavorless!! LolHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 2 - Nov 7, 2022
Came here with a group of friends, since one of them wanted to try this place. I got a bowl of soup and it was an okay size. It was chicken noodle and I asked for light noodles and heavy on the chicken since I watch my carbs. The server said okay, but when they brought me my soup, it was definitely very noodle heavy. Even my friends were surprised. The server was able to bring me out more chicken, though, which was nice, but I was surprised no one initially said anything.
Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. My friend was disappointed with the hushpuppies, though. She said they were "more like a scoop of corn casserole deep fried; too mushy". She said she prefers amore denser corn meal hush puppy.
The prices are a little on the high side, so I don't know if I'd come here again. Even my bowl of soup was $10, and it wasn't as big as I was expecting. Also, just a heads up their website menu shows a soup of the day, but when I went in, all they had was chicken noodle (which I guess they have everyday?).Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - 2443241556Mar 26, 2023
I like this place! I came in yesterday and ordered three delicious sides; Red Beans and Rice, Collard Greens and Cauliflower with the Organic Lemon Pie for dessert.
Today I'm going to try the fried green tomatoes BLT.
Sitting at the bar for lunch and I noticed they have an eclectic assortment of top shelf libations.
The lunch stuff is very friendly, accommodating and helpful.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 4085339Feb 24, 2023
Located in Town Square, across from Yard House and behind Guitar center. This place does have a farmhouse, traditional feel to it. Came here for lunch with a group of 10, so it's great for large groups and they take reservations. Once you walk in you're greeted by the hosted and we were seated right away and did not have to wait for our entire group to arrive.
When they can, they use locally sourced ingredients. The menu has a bit of everything from breakfast, lunch, and "supper" served all day.
Somethings our group ordered were: Farmtable Eggs Benedict, Fried Green Tomato BLT, country poutine, braised short rib grilled cheese, farmtable waffle which was huge for just one order. We also got the cornbread with the whipped berry butter (ask for extra butter!) this was my favorite; I would've been happy with just that and a side of bacon. The cornbread came out nice and warm, there were bits of corn in them, a little on the crumbly side but wasn't as issue.
They also have happy hour from 3pm-6pm. Will have to come back and try the bottomless pitchers (90 mins) mimosas, sangrias and bloody Mary's.
Go and check them out!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 27, 2023
Based on reviews I wasn't gonna go but my friend wanted to go so we went. There was a sign on the order they said they were only accepting zelle, cash, or cash app later to find out they we're switching owners. It was pretty empty inside. Tried to order certain drinks and they were out of a lot. Somebody could've went to the grocery store in the meantime. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and it was good.

If you aren't in a hurry to appreciate a quaint well deserved homestyle decadent break from the norm, ya gotta hit this spot. Nowadays, I tend to appreciate the time I get with those i care about and am a believer of food brings us together, and it has to be perfect... and this spot was perfect. My girlfriends and I first of all appreciated the patience and yet attentive waiter that without hesitation, split our bill into to four tabs that were 100% ACCURATE!!!! MUAH. WE LOVE YOU. The food: 5 STARS 10 fold. It might have been the positive vibe we got entering that caused our taste buds to elevate but all I gotta stay is we finished everything!!!! We were so happy!!!! Finally found my roscoes in Vegas!!!! #chickenandwaffles Price was worth everything. #bloodymary was the bomb with the most perfect amount of heat. I love this place.
