The best home cooking that I remember from all of the FA's. I used to frequent the one in Arlington and in Lakewood with my Dad on a regular basis for as long as I remember. Ernie picked me up from my cruise at Jaxport. I told him, "pull over and we can have breakfast, my treat"! I did not have to twist his arm. We had the best food and Waitress. She was young and had a unique name, that I forget, but she was good.
Pros:good memories, food and service
Cons:they ran out of tables.
We shared our large table with some people from the Legion. We were happy to meet such a nice group of people!

Great breakfast on a rainy morning. Our server was grade A. Thank you Ashley Rose for sunshine on this rainy day. Will definitely come back.

First off when we got here it was very manic I could already tell it was going to be a show, after ordering it took 35 minutes just to get the food and we didn't even get all of it it took another five minutes to get the toast. And on top of that I got the country fried steak with white gravy instead of brown gravy which puts brown gravy on a country fried steak anyway and they charged for a side of sausage gravy which wasn't a big deal but my husband got a side of two pancakes and it was seven dollars are you kidding me seven dollars for two pancakes Just ridiculous definitely won't be coming back here again they didn't even have enough syrup to get a syrup from someone else at a different table. The waitress was really really nice and I feel bad for saying this but she was kind of a birdbrain lol 2 words...HOT MESS!

Super casual breakfast spot in Jax! We stopped on our way to the zoo an it's very local spot. We each had breakfast in a large group and was able to just eat and head out. Pretty casual spot for a bite. The food itself is pretty normal and decent.

After church I was craving some fried chicken and all the fixings.. I didn't want any of the big box stores... stopped in here and got exactly what I wanted. Great fried chicken and 3 side that hit the spot, black eyed peas, mashed potatoes and some collards..
There was a hiccup with their WiFi and the waitress allowed us to leave without paying. That didn't feel right in my spirit, headed out to grab some cash ad settled things up..Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anthony H.Orlando, FL01Apr 13, 2024
took a hour for the food to come out and it was breakfast food . everyone runs around like they're busy but the place isnt packed . The pancakes tasted like they were frozen store bought . Heard one the wait staff saying other wait staff was racist

The food was decent for the price, but that's not why I'm writing this review. For the second time after visiting this location, my mother's card has been compromised. The first time you can blame anyone but a second time is an inside job. It's not likely that a patron gets to your card twice and visits at the same time as you. Employees within this establishment are stealing this information and using it for personal use. It's not right for this to happen, and I thought that I would warn people before going here.

Breakfast again this morning was delicious. Service was fast and food was hot. This is definitely the go to for breakfast on the Northside because it is always busy.

They are usually very busy on Saturday morning so you have to keep that in mind. I had a hard time finding a close parking spot today. But my food was great. I order the ham and cheese omelet with cheese grits, toast and added bacon. Also had a sweet tea to waste it down.
Pro
You don't have to wait to be seated. If you find a open table you can sit wherever you want. So if you have a certain serve staff you like you can make sure you are in their section.
Con
Like everywhere else they are short staffed so at times you cannot find a clean table. - Dominique W.Chula Vista, CA54340Jan 17, 2022
The breakfast food here was good, but the customer service here is why I gave it 5 stars! Our server was very sweet and attentive to our needs. She kept us updated on when our food was coming out and gave us a giant cup of orange juice in the mean time. I will definitely be back here.

This restaurant was downright disgusting and it was cold. The waitress we had tried her best but the food was not done right. Customer service is not good at all and my family is highly disappointed. I don't recommend this tasteless restaurant to anyone ..
