Well I was in a bind, the storms were coming in and instead of trying to make the drive to Shreveport on my way back to Austin I opted to just rest it out in the lovely city of Jackson.

I kinda needed a fridge so this place came up with better reviews at a price point just under $100. I signed up online (hotels.com or priceline) and made the commit.

Okay. Welp, this place is the epitome of lipstick on the pig. In some places the lipstick is okay, but in other areas the pig can't hide. Let me break it down:

      - Customer service was superb here. The check-in person was really nice. I requested a clean and quiet room so she strategically placed me on the end of the building. She was really good and helpful. The check out person the next day was also very nice and professional.

      - My room was clean. The bed was nice and suited its purpose. The fridge was good and kept my stuff cold. I was very happy with those 3 items.

      - The A/C and Heater units are outdated. They are controlled by a dial and not by temperature, so you have to manually turn it off if it gets too cold (in my case) if you cannot find the right consistent setting.

      - The showers / bathtubs are super small here, and I'm 6' tall and was about 1 foot from the ceiling. The showerhead came out to my chest area - so if you're above 6 feet tall you'd have to deal with that.

      - Even though they are supposed to be non-smoking, the entire area smells of smoke. Some places more than others, the hallways wreaked of cigarette smoke - this was my biggest issue and irritation with this place. My room fortunately had that old smoker stench - but it was not that bad - yet it still was apparent. I think she gave me the best room she could and because of that I was happy with her effort, but it's mostly out of her control.

      - The TV and internet signal would go in and out at times - likely due to the stormy weather - that was irritating but I was tired.

      - There seems to be a lot of families here, and kids too, running around. Some seedy patrons as well, but like I said - she put me in a room at the end of the wing that was sufficient and I did not have any issues with people or loud noises. In the morning I could somewhat hear the next room - so the walls are thin here.

All in all it served its purpose for me, on a late night last minute reservation. Most of the hotels were booked - I had a couple of other extended stay options but their ratings were lower than this one. I got the fridge I needed, I checked out at 11am, dealt with the slight cigarette smoke, can deal with the smaller shower, and the place was clean and the bed was pretty solid and for less than $90 it worked for me.

The excellent and nice customer service and her effort to please me bumped this review up from an 2-star experience to a 3-star.

It was awful. Housekeeping never came in the few weeks i was there(i am disabled by ms) and customer service does not ecist. There were criminals at the doors and no security. Creeps followed me into the building. I put a full trashcan outside(they never serviced it) as i had learned to do in hotels and some employee knocked to hand me the still full trashcan. After i left, they tried to charge my card again when i was no longer there. Just say no and hire security. Perhaps some training.

This hotel was horrible since the minute we got there. They confused our rooms with another persons booking. Then we ended up finding out during the second day that this hotel DOESN'T CLEAN THE ROOMS until AFTER you check out. Therefore, we went 4 days WITHOUT our room being cleaned!! They also listed breakfast that turned out to be packaged muffins and granola bars with coffee. Absolutely nothing more! The key card deactivated every other hour because they can't touch any electronics or cards with chips in them.

It was very distasteful and misleading. Yes the bedroom was clean and good enough for the pricing but the hotel upheld the bare minimum!

      Extremely disappointing
      No towels
      Kitchen cabinets left open
      Carpet could be cleaner

Another nail in the coffin of ESA as far as i'm concerned. The internet speed is 1. 1! It's 2019 for god sake. The picture quality on the TV is poor. Sub standard definition. The channel selection is also sub standard. I also wanted to check in early, if the room was ready. It was ready and vacant. I was told i could check in early, if i wanted to pay a fee. NO!

Very clean and accommodating. Did after hour check in with no hassle. Every employ was courteous and friendly. Rooms were cleaner than most 4 star rooms. Easy access off highway and we'll lit safe location. I am usually a weary traveler and seem to have bad luck with using booking apps but I am well pleased with this one.

This hotel needs a little bit of work. It is clean and the staff is nice. As usual the breakfast Adam Extended Stay is worthless coffee and granola bars. The hotel smelled of some sort of cleaning product maybe it's because they allow smoking in some of the rooms. Our room had a smell that I couldn't quite pinpoint but I'm thinking it was some sort of air freshener or cleaning fluid but it was nasty.. hotel room was clean and bed was comfortable. However the appliances were definitely beat up and needed to be replaced. The refrigerator had more deaths then a car that participated in a demolition Derby

The room smelled like sour milk. The bed wasn't made and there was only one pillow on the Queen bed. We pulled the couch out for our kids to sleep on and there was cigarette butts on the mattress. Truly the worst hotel experience I've ever had and unfortunately my kids also had to experience it.

If you're a construction worker or out of town on business and don't like to go out all the time it's a good place to stay. The rooms are basically efficiency apartments. They have a stove oven microwave real refrigerator with freezer and ice maker an oven silverware and dishes dishwasher. It also has a couch coffee table chair and couch with cable TV showtime 1 2 &3 It is reasonably priced $52 a night That being said, you get what you pay for. I have stayed in three different rooms. In the first one they didn't finish making the bed and there were cleaning supplies in the room. When I went to get a towel off the rack the rack and all landed at my feet. In the second room the only thing I found wrong was the turn table in the microwave didn't spin. In the third room there was no toilet paper. All of these things weren't major considering the price. Which apparently does not include cleaning service, which I liked cause I don't like people being able to go through my stuff. It is in a decent part of town with good shopping places target Kroger nearby. Also there are many nice restaurants to go to outback red lobster Logan's and a plethora of others.

Awful. I was only there to get some shuteye one night during a cross-country road trip. But even just for a bed and a shower, the place was disgusting. There was actually chewed up gum on the telephone. There were clumps of hair everywhere. There was debris on the pillows and in the bed making it clear that the room was not cleaned between guests. I will never stay there again.
