I've brought all my vehicles here for smog checks for years. Always as quick as possible, no hassle. Trust these friendly guys. I'm a woman who takes her own car in, and they have never made me feel talked down to or creeped out in the least.

Just be aware that in the late afternoon in the summer the seating area gets very hot.

My girlfriend and I came in with her Honda Civic for an oil change and the cranky old man (the one always sitting around playing with his foreign guitar) was the only one working. We're long time customers who always went to Eduardo, who was the absolute best. We've been sad since he left. In any case, we set up an oil change with this moron and just as we're about to pull her car in, another vehicle with several Armenians pulls up. The old guy stops everything and goes over to talk with them for over 20 minutes, no joke. Laughing and talking. He kept looking over at us and could see we were annoyed and finally came over and said, I quote, "It's going to take me too long to do your oil change, you'll have to go somewhere else." ARE YOU SERIOUS? This was by far the absolute worst racist crap I've ever seen in my life and this guy should be fired immediately.

My mom has been going to Sam for years and anytime I need a smog or oil change it's always been "Did you call Sam yet? Go there first". Obviously I should listen to her more. Initially when getting my smog check down I went somewhere near home in Glendale out of convenience and did not pass (CAT was incomplete so just needed a little more to drive but took forever). I felt so uncomfortable the entire time and felt cheated based on price and service at that location. Today I went to Sam, It was so quick and the best service!

Friendly customer service and great prices for smog checks and oil changes. My entire family has been coming here for years and the owner and the son (Tarak) who run this place are honest hard working people.

I've been going here for years and years! I trust them with my cars and I wouldn't dare go anywhere else at this point. I love that they're a family business and they won't try to make you pay for anything you don't need. The prices are great, and even though they've gone up in the past year, it's still the best deal around. I drive about 30 minutes away just to bring my car here. Thanks Sam!!!

I have been going here for 20 years and they are fantastic and wear rubber gloves so your car is immaculate when they finish. They are also really nice when you go for the dreaded smog check! Everybody is related!
