Estero Animal Hospital

Estero Animal Hospital played a vital role in helping save my dog. My dog has been a patient for years, a few years ago my dog was diagnosed with a life threatening neurological disorder that was extremely hard to diagnosis and without the help of their staff my dog would not have survived. They always answer any questions or address any concerns I have. Dr. Jenn is absolutely an amazing veterinarian, who is thorough and compassionate.

I always find the whole staff here, accommodating, helpful, and caring. I have been with them since the day they opened their doors, and though I have moved further away, I still drive back to see my excellent vets.

We moved to Estero about two years ago. They do a great job in taking care of the important medical things.

Recently, we had to put our 15-year-old dog to sleep. It was one of the hardest things we ever had to do in our life. The vet and their staff were unbelievably great. They helped us through the decision process and helped us cope with a horrible situation. For this, we will always be grateful.

I have taken my dogs to this facility for years because of the excellent care they receive and how thoughtful the staff is. Good medical practice starts with the docs, who are all skilled and knowledgeable. Dr. Larry is exceptional and really connects to the pets and their owners.

Their support staff also all share a kindness and compassion for those visiting the clinic. I can't say enough good things about this group.

Dr. Amelia handled both of our dogs quickly and with compassion and experience.

Ok I will start by saying I had an appt with the vet tech to get her shots and nails cut. I was told last visit to give her a lorazepam before we come because she gets extremely nervous. Got there and was informed the person that made my appt messed up because she needs to see the vet prior to shots. So they reschedule my appt w/o even asking me if the date was ok and it's now a week later. So now I have to drug her again and waste more of my time. This place is a zoo. There is NOTHING personal about our experience here. I'm not coming back. It's purely just about money. I want my vet to know my dog. If u want to be part of the cattle herd enjoy!!

We are new to the area, so in need of a new veterinarian. We investigated and made a site visit a few months ago, and had settled on Estero Animal Hospital.
Fast forward to now, and our little allergic dog needed attention, despite the current coronavirus situation., do we made an appointment.
We were so impressed with the manner in which they managed all of the pets and their people in a totally no contact way. We pulled up to the building, and they took our dog into the clinic. We communicated at length with Dr. Megan via phone. We checked out car side.
Dr. Megan followed up with us the next day.
Totally thorough, yet safe, visit.
We are definitely sold on this practice!

We bring all three dogs here. One of our dogs went blind and had an infection in the eyeball and the dog optometrist couldn't do the surgery for 10 days and a lot of money. Estero Animal hospital made sue they fit our fur baby in that day at half the cost. He is doing fantastic now.

We now have another furbaby who has been diagnosed with lymphoma who is pretty far in the advanced stages. They have been so kind to us and Moose, making sure he is comfortable and it is about quality of life for him.

We are getting ready to move about 20 minutes away from this care center, but that will not stop me from coming back time and time again.

This place is terribly disorganized. When my dog Teddy was elderly they did not recommend anything to help him. He was coughing I told the vet he could have taken an X-ray to view his trachea but didn't. Teddy started shaking when he coughed couldn't get him in So took him to angel hair animal hospital they took X-ray and found he had collapsed trachea and they gave him cough syrup which helped the Estero doctor never recommended anything. They suggested I put him on the special canned diet . Put the cans of food on my bill and I make my dogs fresh food so I returned and they would not give my money back just a credit. After Teddy passed away. I was trying to adopt a rescue dog the reception area told the rescue that I don't give my dog heartworm. I have 2 dogs they did not look at the other dogs notes to find out. Tilly had her teeth cleaned they charged for someone else's charges and I noticed they had to fix it. It was $400 more. The last straw is that I took my new rescue dog to get checked. He had parasites so I brought Tilly's stool in to have checked they charged me and someone lost the stool. I'm done with this place.
