Well.
I don't even know how to start.
I'm so disappointed with how the appointment went from the start.
First,
This isn't the place to come if you want to feel comfortable.
I understand. The budget was $1000 and under and not much of a window of time but the comments.
They asked what the budget was.. already they said we can show you our discounted stuff but there isn't much for your size.
Plus size should be normalized first of all.
Second,
We as bridesmaid were trying to help the bride find a dress but we are not allowed to be in the back.. even if she was more comfortable. We aren't going to steal the dress.
The only nice person was Angela.. and maybe even the mom.. sometimes at points. but the rest were rude. Very unprofessional.
Third,
Their saying there is "we will be blunt, we will be real, we will not lie to you"
Okay.. thanks but no thanks.
We as customers.. should be able to feel comfortable and welcome. This is a very important day coming up.
Yes it's helpful to be honest... I get that.
But if we want to try one a dress maybe a size bigger or smaller okay then clip it? Isn't that what the clips are for?
Isn't coming wedding dress shopping about finding an idea of what you want or to buy a dress?
How can we that if we are being told "it's out of your budget, it's not for you"
You don't need to tell me what's for me or what isn't. We are here to look for what we want for one of the biggest days. If she feels comfortable to try it on then awesome. If it doesn't fit past a certain thing okay then well at least we got to try!
Bring more plus size. Bring more diversity.

After searching high and low for a dress for my daughter for my upcoming wedding, we stumbled upon this gem. And let me tell you, Sara, the lovely lady who assisted us, was an absolute rockstar!
From the moment we walked in, Sara greeted us with the warmest smile and made us feel right at home. She was not only friendly but also incredibly caring and attentive to our needs. She patiently listened to my daughter's preferences and helped us find the perfect dress that made her feel like a princess.
I cannot recommend Enchanted Bridal Boutique enough, especially with Sara's exceptional assistance.

I'm torn between 2 stars and 3 stars. This review is based on my and my best friends experience. Maybe today they were short staffed, but energy does not lie. A person's vibe and energy will tell you more about themselves than when they're speaking to you. The woman who helped us was not rude, but she was not nice. Her and another woman were actually arguing and speaking over each other, which made us really uncomfortable from the moment we got there. My best friend felt rushed, and I felt as if we couldn't just look at the dresses and have my best friend try on as many dresses as she wanted to (especially since there are so many different styles) because the atmosphere did not feel welcoming to do so. We felt like an inconvenience. Also, another party was served something to drink by another worker and of course it makes you wonder why we didn't get offered anything.
This made me feel so bad because I was the one who hyped up this place because of my experience a couple of years ago, and she did not have a good experience here.
My best friend should have had a great experience as any future bride should. A wedding should be dozens of great experiences when it comes to planning. And any bridal shop is part of that planning.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

They treated us like we knew them already. Both the owners were adorable!!!!
They treated my daughter so kindly and spoke to her as if they were family. We were able to find a graduation dress for my daughter and she looked beautiful!!!

DO NOT COME HERE --- if you do, LIE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING DATE. Tell them that it is 3 months EARLIER of the actual date. I ordered my dress a year from my wedding date (October) and was told that my dress would arrive in 7-8 months. I called them in July and was told my dress was made and would arrive mid-July. I called them mid-July, end of July, beginning of August, mid-August, end of August... STILL NO DRESS. They will not tell you exact locations of where it is and will only give you excuses of the "delay." One of the girls said "Well, since you have an October wedding, your dress won't ship out until September." Absolutely ridiculous. Why lie to your customers?
While on the phone with the owner, she said they would take care of alterations due to all the stress that was caused. Fast forward to end of September... When I finally picked up my dress, I told the girls about the alterations agreement, but they had no idea what I was talking about. They said the owner would call me back about it. My experience here was absolutely amazing! This was the first shop I came to try on wedding dresses. The service provided by these ladies was so amazing, the shop atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. The girl that helped me during my appointment Samantha, was so kind and helpful; I cannot speak enough about her. The shop can also work with you on the price of a dress such as setting up a payment plan which was nice to help you stay on a budget.

First off, Bakersfield needs more bridal boutiques. I was so excited to go shopping for my first wedding dress. But this place has emotionally ruined that excitement for me. I had an appointment at 2 pm on a Saturday. There were 4 ladies working that day but they all were claiming they were short staffed. There was a little boy with an iPad running around, his toys on the seats, stepping on dresses. I understand you may have to take your son to work but maybe there should be a designated area for him so he isn't in my dressing room with his iPad? I had dresses on my arm to take to my room but the lady helping me said they wouldn't look flattering on me and I need something with a corset for support and A-Lined for my figure. I couldn't even look at myself in the mirrors and I was embarrassed for my bridesmaids/fiancé to look at me because I felt like Quasimodo and Jared Lorenzen had a love child. I wasn't planning on buying a dress that same day. I mainly wanted to try on different styles to get an idea of what I would feel most comfortable and beautiful in. But I wasn't given an opportunity to try anything that wasn't A-Lined. The lady helping me kept putting dresses I had picked back on the rack. There was also another lady getting fitted and it seemed like she was getting more service than I was. I know size probably wasn't a factor but my overthinking said otherwise haha. She looked absolutely beautiful and I'm so happy she said yes that day. But, all 4 ladies were helping her while I was having to pick/put on/take off/put back my own dresses. I kept apologizing for getting so many dresses because I felt like I was inconvenience the other woman. At least she found her dress that day lol.

I bought my wedding dress September 2023; they told me it would be here between 8-10 months. Starting in July 2024, I called bi-weekly to check on the shipping/tracking update. In the beginning of August, they said that since my wedding is in November, they are shipping those dresses the beginning of September and my veil would be with my dress. I called in the beginning of September, and they told me "the end of September" and that my veil has been at the store for a while now (which I called about prior to to see if I could wear it for my hair and make up trial!). Then, in mid-September, they called saying that there store just closed down and all shipments will be shipped to an alteration lady that they recommend. I look at the instagram and they announced that they were closed over a MONTH before telling me. They said that it will be finally shipped out the following day. I called the next day and they said "we only ship things Tuesdays and Thursdays." The following Tuesday, I called and they said that it will be here Friday (which I was out of town Friday-Sunday). I asked to pick it up Sunday and they replied that I can meet them at a Starbucks on Stockdale... without a garment bag. They wanted me to pick up my expensive wedding dress at a Starbucks!!! I told them to meet me where I'm getting my alterations and instead of meeting me, they just dropped it off earlier in the day to avoid seeing me. Completely unprofessional. Every time I called, I was talking to a different lady and got a different answer. They were very nice, but no surprise their store closed down. To make things worse, I just had my alterations appointment and they opened my veil and what do you know. Enchanted bridal ordered me the wrong veil! They will not respond to any text or call after they said they would talk to me Monday evening. Very very disappointed in the service they provided. If I could rate this store 0 stars, I would.

I just had the best experience here . I have gone to other places but I am picky and couldn't find something I loved. All the staff was amazing and they all helped me out. I was able to find the dress I loved AND thanks to Angela I was able to make some customizations to my dress to make it absolutely perfect for me !!

This place is very unprofessional. I would give it zero stars. Came in with my sister to try on dresses and they had a little boy running around stepping on all the dresses and screaming. While all the attention was on him instead of the service providing us. When my sister wrote her honest review of this place, they had the audacity to tell her to take it down instead of finding a solution to improve her experience. At least take the feedback customers are giving you and improve in those areas!!

The WORST WORST WORST experience I've every had. And I was in here 5 min. To begin they never reserved our appointment, although they said they would accommodate us it felt inconvenient by the attitude we were receiving. Second the lady at the front snapped at my maid of honor. After I asked if she was okay she looked at me and said "fine" we went to the back to look at dresses where the mother took care of us and informed us that they had limited colors. We then decided to leave because the energy was off and they didn't have any color we were interested in. We went to the lobby to wait for my bridesmaid to get out of the bathroom.
After the mother was informed that her daughter was being rude she then proceeded to add to the disrespect and if you're wondering how I know they were mother and daughter well the mother decided to yell at us that her daughter has a disability and she wasn't feeling good. I am so shocked at how AWFUL the customer service was!
As a bride every experience in the process has a huge impact. There are so many stressful things we have to deal with as is, that this should be fun and exciting. I can't express how awful this was!Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

I am so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at our boutique, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service. We will admit that the appointment was not in our system but was noted in the back to be added, but reception was unaware of the addition. In regard to the "disrespect" you faced i apologize, however rudeness and disrespect towards any of our employees will not be tolerated. If you were having any issue with our employee, then you could have asked for the manager to step in and advise a way to resolve the issue at hand. Since we were unable to provide the color you required, we understood your leaving, but it should have been left at that. We wish you luck in your search, have an enchanted day.
