Electric Lemon

Due to the price tag associated with dining here you are heavily paying for the location and atmosphere here. That being said, the decor is beautiful and if I you're fortunate enough to have a seat with a view, especially outside, you're in for a dining experience to remember (especially outside... weather permitting).

I came in with a group of coworkers, so we literally ordered one of everything, and and I enjoyed it all. Cocktails were solid, and the wine selection was [sommelier]'s kiss. Highly recommend the 'Silencio de Mitos' if you're looking for a wine rec.

I ordered the fillet for myself but has bites of the duck, and salmon from others plates and all were very tasty.

Service was good, it was never too hard to track down our server and she was very on point making sure our cups were never empty.

All in all I'd recommend giving the lemon a try at least once for a good meal with a great view... even if you have to eat ramen for a while to make it happen

The whole experience is a good 4 star for me when the food is prepared neat, taste good and the interior is classy and view is amazing out the windows as well as the outside section of this place where you can go for a drink.

-first pic. The steak was a good size and I like how much seasoning was on top. A slight crisp on certain areas made from cooking it. Comes with free fries shown in pic. Dipping steak as well and fries inside sauce that comes with the fancy vegetables was a plus for me.

-second pic. The beef tartare was alright, a different flavor I have eating before, it's basically raw beef, the flavor isn't wrong/sharp but it is there to give flavor. I don't like vinegar but I believe a small amount is in the ingredients which was passable for me to eat and not be bothered by it since I don't like vinegar. The crispy biscuit was interesting to eat with it. First pic and second pic was shared which was not too heavy of a appetizer before the steak came out.

The whole time I was thinking aww man I need more food since everything was light n healthy.

Amazing ! I came here for my little brothers birthday! He loves a good view and good food! This place did not disappoint. I must say you have to dress the part they will not let you just wear anything also you have to have a reservation!

We went with 7 people and we had a great table, the server was attentive to our needs and the food came out in great timing ! I had the lemon pasta and oh my I was so happy with it. The prices believe it or not we're also reasonable.

The rooftop area looked stunning but it was cold so we didn't go out. The bathroom was gorgeous and so clean, they had top of the line products in there as well! 10/10 overall would definitely recommend!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to after the amazing experience I had at Electric Lemon on Friday.

1. Food: Delicious, healthy, and filling portions! I had the best carrot cake of my ENTIRE life that night. I am still dreaming about it. The fish tacos were flavorful and the chicken was so juicy, my husband didn't want to share.

2. Drinks: Delicious and light. You don't feel horrible about the sugar after finishing them but you also still feel like you're having a good time drinking proper cocktails.

3. Service: WOW. Just wow. I wish I could give 10 stars here. First, the wonderful hostess worked with us to be seated despite not having a reservation. Then, our server was hilarious (Luke-AS) and made sure to check on us frequently. But it is the magical Nikalla that brought me to yelp. I mistakenly left my wallet at EL and didn't even know that I didn't have it until I received a call at 8am the next day from this angel. She had arrived at 6am, found the wallet, looked inside to see my name, and then spent 90 minutes googling to find a number for me. She saved me from a headache before the holidays that I really didn't have the capacity for -- and she asked for nothing in return. I could tell she was just happy that she saved me from the stress:)

This is a great place if you want to catch a vibe with some great food and drinks, without the guilt, and with a staff that cares.

Location atop of the Equinox hotel on the 24th floor in Hudson Yards! Great view from atop the Electric Lemon on a nice sunny day watching the sunset. Rating for the ambiance, view and service.

How many Paloma cocktails can one drink with friends? One is enough for me! At $18 a pop, yes, they are strong and great for tequila lovers, for which I am not one. So great if you are one... Plenty of other cocktail options to choose from. Seating is limited upstairs though mostly reserved. So sadly had to stand the entire time we were there...the not fun part.

Make reservations if you plan to dine there... there is a bar inside as well. Be prepared as it's not an inexpensive place to dine.

Saw a lot of instagram etc folks taking pics and videos for the sites...

Restrooms are inside and unisex. There are a few of them - each with their own doors.

Elevators are confusing as is is dark inside...only 1 set of elevator banks will lead you back to the lobby. Good luck finding your way back downstairs!

Beautiful rooftop restaurant within the Equinox hotel with amazing views of Hudson Yards and the Vessel. Perfect for a special occasion or date night.
Definitely make reservations, this place was packed on the Monday night. The food was excellent and it was easy for 4 of us to share a bunch of dishes. The eggplant and little gem salad were definitely standouts and it was surprisingly easy to order a completely vegetarian meal for the entire table. The drinks were strong, I had the frozen paloma.
Dropping a star because the service was extremely slow/inattentive.

The wonderful restaurant with wonderful staff, the food that exceeded all expectations in flavor and presentation, a wonderful view, simply the best restaurant I've ever been to in New York!

The food was SO good. I really can't decide which was better -- the polenta fries or the carrot banh mi. The texture of the polenta fries was perfect, and the dipping sauce it came with was tasty too. The aioli in the banh mi had incredible flavor. This meal kept me full for hours. I wasn't expecting the latte to be as good as it was -- look at the latte art! Plus, they offered coat check for our big winter coats which was a nice touch. I can tell this would be a good spot for a date night too, and plan on coming back for that.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here for dinner. Interior of this place was gorgeous with a nice view of the vessel. Upon getting there, we ordered a glass of wine to start with, following by few appetizers such as the chilled oysters, beef tartare, New-Fashioned Deviled Crab and the polenta fries. My absolute favorite would have to be the polenta fries, which came with a dipping sauce that tasted amazing!

For entree, i tried their Lemon Pappardelle - it was very flavorful and tasted absolutely amazing (shrimps were definitely my favorite part of this pasta dish)! My friends ordered the chicken and halibut, which they all agreed were amazing and tasted delicious.

Overall, they provided A+ service for my friend's birthday and had a very good time! Would recommend for celebratory events!

Great place to impress and drink for the summer.

With a beautiful interior, large selection of liquor and bars both inside and outside, this might be worth a visit once in a while for the patio/view outside.

We came for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and were able to get walk in availability.

Service is attentive and friendly.

Only area that needs work is food as some food items were ok compared to the price paid.

The food is merely okay. I expected much better quality food at this price point. The service was great. The server was very courteous and helpful. I don't think I will come back anytime soon. The only draw here is the view, so maybe it's great if you're a tourist, or if you want to impress your date with a view and a drink in hand. But won't come for the food again.
