Took the kids to In-n-Out to satisfy their burger cravings, bit that's not what I'm hungry for. We wandered/drove a mile+ down the road for some tasty street tacos for the adults. Good stuff, but ask for some extra salsa and lime to top these with.

(This is a review that has lingered in my drafts folder. I like finding little gems in the middle of no where like this one. I don't live in the area, so I can't verify if this place is still in business or not.)

Amazing!!! Three of us on our way back home from a convention in Bakersfield. The asada and chicken tacos were a hit and loved my asada quesadilla! If you don't want chain food - this is a must!!!

Great place to stop along the I-5. Off the beaten path but well worth the slight detour if you are looking for something other than the standard fast food. Authentic tacos and burritos.

Excellent carne asada tacos, and really great pollo taco and beef burrito. Worth a little detour and so much better than the fast food chains by the freeway

And an tamarindo soda to wash it down
Pollo (top) and asada (bottom) tacos - incredibly good - wish I had ordered a couple more asadas

What a find! We ordered carne asada fries, steak and pastor tacos, and some horchata as well! Definitely the best Mexican off of highway 5. It's located in the corner so it's not easy to find. It is like a taqueria inside of a small store. The prices are very cheap and the food is sooo good! Be warned, the regular salsa they put on the street tacos is very spicy!!! Watch out!!! They also had Mexican ice cream bars for 59 cents!! Very good taqueria and nice little store to get some snacks!

Almost missed it, but it's in an open lot off the main road (next to Spirit gas station). Definitely worth the extra 3 minutes/1.5 miles from the standard fast food fare off the freeway exit.

No truck here on Sunday afternoon. Now I notice all the other comments are over a year old. Still in business?

Located in an unlighted dirt parking lot on the outskirts of a residential area on the main road. My friends and I decided to be adventurous and try it. The guy working the truck was really friendly and tried to help us with the menu. I got the asada burrito (rice, beans, tomatoes, asada), my friends got tacos with various meats and the tostada. The asada was tasty and the burrito size was filling for $4. Better than taco bell down the road for sure. Everything tasted good and was worth the price. Nothing that stands out as really crave worthy though. Venture outside the norm if you are in the mood for trying some street Mexican food and look for this truck. Giving it a 4 for authenticity and being in the middle of nowhere eating a burrito on a folding chair adds to the ambience

A little unnerving driving past everything into the pitch black night. Sure enough it was worth the adventure. The guy didn't seem to speak English and was out of a few things so we ended up with a chicken torta (sandwich wasn't my favorite, but the chicken was tasty) and the last asada burrito which was well flavored. We'd go back again.

Quick, cheap and good. Not the best taco I've ever had, but among the good ones. Pastor was a favorite. Skip taco bell and run for the truck.
