However they prepare food needs to be reassessed. Ate here Friday night and by Saturday at noon the sickness kicked in.
I'm talking about 22 puke sessions every 30-60 minutes over the course of 19 hours with extreme projectile vomiting of 4-5 pukes every session. I ended up loosing 10 pounds of water weight and have extreme dehydration (urine is almost black).
Barely any sleep during all of this and pretty much has killed two whole days for me.
Will not be returning, visit at your own risk!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Margaret H.Birmingham, AL261134213May 8, 2021
Do not - I repeat - do NOT come here! A group of friends and I went to dinner here last night. We chose El Cazador because it's been quick and reliable to us in the past- especially when you have a cranky hungry baby with you.
Something was not right from start to finish. We ordered our meal and it all came out at different times. Specifically to the point where I didn't receive my grilled chicken quesadilla until several minutes after everyone else's came out. My quesadilla came out like a taco and I was so hungry at that point I went ahead and dove in.
Last night I started vomiting every hour on the hour. I'm still in bed I'm still so exhausted. I text our group to inform them and apparently they're sick too!! All the signs of food poisoning. Anytime I think about my meal last night I feel nauseous. NEVER going back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 22, 2017
Eric served us lunch today and he was friendly
The atmosphere was fun quaint and festive.
It's in a strip mall.
Lunch specials around (oops I didn't get a picture of these specials on table, by the salt and pepper)$4.50!
Happy hour Lime Margaritas - $2.50 Good
Chips and salsa - Fresh chips and Salsa was on the sweet side, not too spicy and saucy not chunky
White Cheese dip - Creamy, not spicy
Chicken Enchiladas - Delicious with green sauce
Chicken Burrito - GoodHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alex H.Navarre, FL06Aug 22, 2021
Overall a hard no for us. We should have known after the salsa came out because it was no good, but we stayed. The food was bad. No flavor. They should have payed us to eat here. Save yourself and eat somewhere else.

Regular visitors! Food and service is always good!
We're a "low carb" family and they have plenty of choices that'll fill you up!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 23, 2017Updated review
This wasn't our first choice, but the situation with the other Mexican restaurant has lead us to come here. Normally, the restaurant is busy doing the lunch hour, but we came a little after 1:30pm and the place was empty except for maybe one or two people. First thing first, the chips are definitely hot and fresh and not only do they bring salsa to the table, but if you're eating lunch with another person, they also get their own salsa bowl as well. Apparently, they want to get you filled up just because you get more food at a reasonable price during lunch time. My friend order some hot wings as an appetizer and the waitress informed him that he's going to receive his meal first before the wings since they take 20 minutes to cook. It's funny because I would never thought a Mexican restaurant served hot wings. He let me try a few and let just say if I order wings as a appetizer, I would be too full for the main course. The service was top notch and not once did we have to ask for refill on drinks and chips. I would recommend anybody to come here if you're in the area.

It's been awhile since I last ate inside and since I didn't have nothing plan that afternoon, I choose to have a hot meal without worrying about my food getting cold on the way home. The waiters and waitress have the same routine at any other Mexican restaurant that I've been to. There salsa bowl is much bigger since the last time I was here, which is a plus for me. My food came out five minutes later after placing my order and the only downfall that I had was the raw vegetables toppings should've been on a separate plate and not on the same plate so the vegetables wouldn't come in contact with cook meat.

A friend of mine always comes here and he recommend this Mexican place im so glad i decided to come here. Our waitress was very nice and friendly I was completely blown away by their lunch specials 4.49 you can't beat that and even the dinner prices you can get a combination of different food items and it's still a good price the chips and salsa was very good I liked the fact that the salsa bowl was big me and my friend each had our own bowl which was very cool. I ended up getting beef enchiladas which were good I also had wings which were good it was worth the wait I enjoyed El cazador and im definitely coming back

Very good with big servings and good quick service. Everything we tried was yummy. I had the chicken enchilada and beef chimichanga. Both were very good. I also had a happy hour margarita for $2.75.

This place used to be good but they've been slipping over the past few weeks. Your tacos are thrown together like some blind man made it and your side of cilantro is mostly stems. The final straw for me was when we last called in an order last week, I asked for extra salsa and they bring me the same amount they always do. So when I looked in the bag and noticed this, I asked the lady again for extra salsa. So she goes back in and grabs 2 more of the small ramekins, at the same time she charged us $4.00 extra for these 2 tiny salsas. If it had been myself paying and not a friend, I would have refused the whole order and walked away. If you're the manager on duty reading this, know that you've lost our business. There are too many other Mexican restaurants in this area that won't try to rip us off.
