Is this restaurant kid friendly?
A:
I'd say so. It is more of a bar setup with young adults, but there are booths and could accommodate kids. Kid friendly, yes, kid centered, probably not.

Such a great brunch spot! The mimosas were delicious (and very well priced!), the food was delicious and very well cooked/seasoned.
We ordered the Mexican Street Corn dip, Queso and Guacamole for the table. All three were so good! I had the Boro Enchilada for my meal and the spice was perfect. I asked for eggs fried over medium and they were actually served at medium (which I feel like is rare). The servers were super nice and the ambiance was cute! I can't wait to stop back by on my next DC trip!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Sarah,
We are thrilled that you enjoyed your brunch experience at El Bebe. We love hearing about how much you enjoyed the mimosas and the Boro Enchilada cooked to your liking. We can't wait to host you again the next time you're in DC! - Apr 24, 2024
Went here for happy hour the other day. Love the ambiance and the outdoor seating option. The server was very attentive although at times I wish he would relax a bit.
The happy hour wasn't too happy. It's very limited options. And perhaps I'm spoiled but I'm used to chips and salsa being free but here it's included on the hh menu. I got chips and guac which wasn't on the hh menu. They had $2 off margaritas; I got a large one for $15. A regular drink price to me but it was good. I also ordered fish (mahi) tacos. Those were delicious. I was pleased with the food and drinks but I just wouldn't recommend coming here if you're looking for hh deals.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ruby D.Walden Pond, MA11222Apr 23, 2024

Hi Rudy,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience at El Bebe wasn't what you expected. We take all reviews seriously and appreciate you letting us know about the chips, salsa, birria, and rice/beans. We strive to provide fresh, high-quality food, and it sounds like we fell short on this occasion. We will be reviewing this feedback with our team to ensure all recipes are accurate and we are only sending out food that is up to our standards. Thank you so much for visiting, and we hope you will consider giving El Bebe, or any of our sister concepts like Salt, Circa, or Open Road, a try.
Kindest Regards,

Had dinner at El Bebe with some friends and was pretty surprised by how good the food was here.
The food was quite pricey. We started off with chips and guacamole. The guacamole was really good and a decent portion but there weren't any refills on chips and it's a bit hard to justify $10 for guacamole and a few chips no matter how good it is. The frozen strawberry margarita was sweet, extremely delicious, huge, and quite strong. The shrimp tacos were crispy and the mango salsa and spicy green sauce added a much needed kick.
Surprisingly the place was pretty packed on a Sunday night. Service was pretty good but also a bit slow considering how busy it was.
Overall, the whole meal was rather good. There are definitely other places that serve better tacos; however, if you're craving Mexican food or tacos, this will definitely satisfy your craving.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 30, 20241 check-in
Now my favorite restaurant in the Yards. This place never disappoints. If you want Mexican food, come here. Skip all of the other places. Don't waste your time or money. The food is always consistently excellent and staff is always friendly. Whether you sit at the bar or at the tables, service is impeccable.
Okay, now for some food options. The chicken fajitas are so good. If you ever cooked white meat chicken, you know how challenging it can be to get the seasoning and texture right. At El Bebe they got it right. The rice and refried beans are delicious, the guacamole and queso dip is divine. The chips that they serve them with are seasoned with something that I can't even identify lol. And lastly, my favorite menu option are the Birria Tacos . Man they're so good.
If you're looking for cool and charming spot to eat while visiting the Yards, DO NOT overlook El Bebe.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 297270Feb 14, 20242 check-ins
First dinner after a move to DC and this place hit!!
Fun atmosphere good food and big drinks a great start to any evening in Navy Yard.
The good: the service was fast and friendly, able to help with modifying drink orders and quick to get everything to the table. The food here was solid. The smoked tomato salsa was great and my beef enchiladas were a standout.
The mediocre: the drinks are available in large portions and our margaritas were pretty good but a word to the wise that their base tequila is Cuervo which may or may not offend you. They do have a good tequila menu to swap into and the tequila is clearly listed on the menu so no harm no foul I suppose.
The bad: no real complaints here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 287178Mar 23, 20241 check-in
I easily give this taco spot five stars for their fantastic vegetarian/vegan options. My go-to is the mushroom quesadilla; the mushrooms are perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. The service is consistently excellent, with staff going above and beyond, having agreed to charge my phone behind the bar. Plus, the ambiance is lovely, making it a delightful dining experience overall. Highly recommend over other taco spots in Navy Yard.

Ordered shrimp tacos to go even though i wanted the shrimp quesadillas. Due to cinco de Mayo they have a new set menu. So i wanted to go due to my lunch break but changed my mind before my food was even ready. Asked hostess could i sit outside instead with my coworker. She asked the manager he said no only bar. That is the most ridiculous thing i ever heard for an empty establishment and i ordered food from them that I could only sit at the bar. My shrimp tacos im not gonna lie we're 10/10 the sauce they put on the side was amazing as well. But the service and lack of acknowledgment from anyone else outside of the hostess just left a nasty taste in my mouth. Would i return thats questionable because this is my second time here. And the first time was amazing which was why i returned. But after the treatment this time. Umm.

Sooo yummy!!
Grabbed a bite to eat with some Yelp Elites after an event! The food was delicious, service was pretty good. We did have to hunt didn't the waitress a few times but no biggie as we were talking and catching up.
Everyone's food came out at the same time and we all agreed that the food was so good! The margarita wasn't strong at all and it you could actually make out the passion fruit taste!
The jalapeños toreados are spicy so try at your own risk
It didn't seem busy when we first arrived but as time progressed they did get quite a few tables. Great chill spot for a lunch date, to catch the game or to simply get your taco fix!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jay M.Ventura, CA1248May 11, 2024
I had the Mexican street corn dip, nachos, and bebe chopped salad - everything was delicious. The restaurant itself was very nice, and from the hostess to the servers, they were all helpful. The vibes were great!
