Edison Sub Shop

Driving north on 95 for the holidays and stuck in traffic with three teens and a dog. Searched and found this gem.

Owner Mike was friendly and told us his favorites. Everything we ate was super fresh and prices were outstanding.

I was outside with the puppy and when my husband came out with our food he has an extra delight. Mike had gifted Quincy a tin full of end pieces that he chopped up for our dog.

The BEST chicken noodle soup, great Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Read the reviews. Friendly staff. Sub was a bit disappointing. Bread a bit bland and maybe a leftover from the previous day. Tuna was acceptable. Lettuce added little to the sub. Maybe in a pinch, but back to my go to sub shop.

Well I've only been here maybe four times. I always order my tuna sub it's very good. Staff seems very nice. I never had any problems here.

This shop is fantastic! The owner is so sweet, and everyone who works there makes it feel like a fun place. The sandwiches are amazing! And they do party platters!! I've gotten several from them and the sandwiches are always a hit for my employees! We visit often.

Hubby and I are visiting from Texas (NJ native here)
and were looking for egg & cheese on a hard roll. Yelp directed us here- it's amazing! Fresh rolls, great eggs, cheese, pork roll and sausage. Hubby had a Deluxe and I had egg-cheese-pork roll on a hard roll. Great coffee too!

One of the last remaining real good sub shops in NJ. Or anywhere really. Do yourself a favor, get yourself a Whole Super with everything on it. Excellent sub bread, Thumann's meats. The way a sub should be. I stop here when I'm back in NJ from TX for a taste of home. The guys in the shop are friendly too.

Love this place. Brother and sister working together to make good food at a great price. Very friendly. Old school atmosphere makes this place an interesting place to go and sit and have breakfast or lunch.

Update: Yes they are open during the covid-19 epidemic. Call ahead and have your food waiting when you get there. Menu is on there website along with specials. Help support local businesses through this trying time.

Usually make a pretty good sandwich but today's roast beef and cheese could be better for almost $7. Pretty light on tHe RB.

OMG i FINALLY FOUND a real deli/sub shop. This is a little gem on woodbridge ave my son and i stumbled upon when i got tired of hearing him whine about how hungry he was.
The bread and meats are super fresh and the whole sub is enormous. Lots of different breakfast options too. This will be my regular sub place going forward.
Bonus- the employees are so nice and customer service is great here.
