Doug and his team are among the most professional, well versed, attentive, and reasonably priced mechanics that I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with! I'm new to Lakeland and arrived with issue that had been an honest oversight by my mechanic in Indianapolis when they'd done some work just before our move to Florida. Doug understood immediately and even suggested what had probably happened without ever looking at the car! He was absolutely right and had me fixed up in no time flat! He even took the time to call my mechanic in Indianapolis to let him know exactly what had happened! Definitely have found my Lakeland mechanic! If your in the market for a reasonably priced professionally done repair, you should give them a shot! You'll be glad that you did!

I'm not sure why the one star reviews, but he does excellent work. I have been to other places and he is honest and explains your options completely.

This run down shop doesn't do the work they promise. The dangerous problem I brought it in for, came back within miles of leaving the shop. I had it checked 2 days later by 2 different reputable places and they independently proved the work on my invoice was never completed and I was over charged even if the work was actually completed. New parts were not used or properly installed.

I paid 850 should have been 650 with a Pep Boys warranty. My fault for not getting quotes, not his.

Try getting in touch with Doug to fix the job? No call back after 3 calls a day for a week. Finally, after Doug accidentally picks up the phone, he says to come in Monday. Meanwhile the shop was scheduled to be closed for 10 days for vacation. I showed up to a closed business, no informative voicemail or information. (Red flag of any professional business.)

After waiting 10 days I experienced the most unprofessional response when I showed up again. I simply asked what was done and if he could look at it again. Immediately, Doug became loud, defensive and cursing me "off the property." Clearly by his immediate defensive reaction and his staff rolling their eyes, this happened often.

He may be able to change a tire or jump a car but I wouldn't bring anything beyond that his way.

Terrible and fake work, inaccurate invoice and then to top it off, does not stand by his work. Avoid.

Big RIP OFF!!! Don't go there it's just a dirty junk yard auto place. Does real bad work, sells crap cars and lies about everything when you have to bring the car back for repair. A real CON-MAN stay away. Once he gets your money your done. Then the bull crap will start. The other review was right, he can't do any repair work right lucky he could change a tire. STAY AWAY!!!!
