This is the worst Dollar Tree I have ever been to. It is not organized, and things are thrown everywhere. I would be embarrassed if I was the manager!

**This review mainly focuses on a Dollar Tree Associate, Johnathan. The West Bountiful store was clean and had all items I was looking for in stock.**
When I walked into the store this afternoon, no one was at the register (light was on) but there were several people waiting. I did my shopping and waited behind 10 or so others. Johnathan was apparently the only cashier.
I noticed two groups of teenagers toward the front of the line, laughing and joking with each other. Johnathan laughed and joked along with them, pretty loudly mentioning that what they were buying (candy for the movies) was like drugs for the store. He made several references to feeling like he was selling drugs and warned the groups to not go drinking after the movie. They laughed at his comment and he said "it's only illegal if you're caught" and then quickly added "I probably shouldn't say that while I'm at work."
The teenagers left and the next few customers checked out. Johnathan was laughing about something President Trump said that we should do with hand sanitizer. He mentioned drugs again, and again how he feels like he's selling them. The woman in front of me stepped up to the register and wasn't amused by his comments. He asked her "Are you always this serious?" She said yes she was. He told her "well you should smile more often." She looked at him and said "well I have a mask on, you can't tell if I'm smiling." Johnathan agreed and told her "well you should work on that, you're too serious." She was obviously uncomfortable. She quickly finished paying and left.
When Johnathan began ringing my items up, he came across a pregnancy test I was purchasing. He held it up to me and asked "are you mentally prepared for the consequences of your actions?" I was startled by this comment, but responded that I am. He asked "are you sure? Are you ready for this kind of responsibility?" I said "yes I am, as a matter of fact." He said "ok just making sure. It's a big commitment."
To sum it up, I was unimpressed with several of Johnathan's behaviors during my visit today:
A) unprofessional language (he did not use profanity, simply the topics mentioned in (B).)
B) several drug and drinking references while speaking with teenagers and several other customers
C) rude comments toward customers
D) rude comments toward me regarding my "mental preparation" for pregnancy.
D) demeaning the President to everyone in line (Everyone is entitled their political opinions, but I noticed several customers became uncomfortable with his outburst of opinion. It was untimely and not the right venue.)Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Chris D.Hilo, HI7542914Apr 25, 2021
This is the second time I've been to this store and it's a decent store. Well stocked and staff is friendly and eager to help. I would gladly return in the future .

This location is loaded with holiday stuff. If I'm wanting a quick, cheap, fun way to celebrate something like St. Patricks day with my toddler, I'll go here. I discovered last year that they have an awesome selection of Hawaiian Luau party supplies. We did a themed party for my daughter and it turned out really cute.
The cashiers here are way more friendly than any other location.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lala O.Palm Desert, CA60516May 9, 2020
I came here twice before the holidays and both times the male employees were very sick . The first one had mucus coming out of his nose while he was working the register while he was touching your groceries to check out and advertising he's very tired. The second one, n a week after, was coughing a lot and obviously very sick, and he coughed and blew his nose to a tissue and I was able to see mucus come out of his nose and then proceeded to touch your groceries for check out without washing his hand or using hand sanitizer. When I asked him if he's sick, he admitted he is and I suggested he should wear mask if he is coughing and have hand sanitizer on hand or maybe he shouldn't work. He told me it will probably not going to work. I will never come back to this dollar tree again. Aside from sick employees that are forced to work, it's always out of stock and you can tell boxes of boxes are just in the aisles sitting there unopened. I have started to go to the Layton one where the workers are clean looking, presentable and professional. They always have supplies.

Horrible service. The store is always dirty and cluttered. They often only have one person at the register with long lines.

Always a mess with boxes piled in the aisles. We finally gave up and started going to the one in Centerville. Must be different managers because the one in Centerville is so much more organized.
