Dollar General

Absolutely ghetto, the older cashier that was working tonight had a horrible attitude and flung my bag on the counter, while smacking on a peanut butter chocolate cup.

This is certainly a place that you can find a lot of the things you need without having to go to those big box stores up the road at relatively competitive prices.

I usually come here for odds and ends and consistently for a bag of the cheap brand of sour cream and onion potato chips for $1 which I think is as good as the name brand. However, they also carry the Lay's chips and most of the time cheaper than the grocery store. They have a great selection of snacks and nice prices.

This store is packed full of odds and ends with a ton of namebrand items for the home and personal needs. This time I needed double sided mounting tape which I was able to get with a hook for a couple of dollars.

Overall, this place has a better selection of goods than other dollar-type stores and I like to come in and check out what they're carrying every now and then. I'm a regular.

BTW, they now accept Paypal and although the system kept on declining my pin number--I think that feature is pretty progressive for all Dollar General stores once I figure out how the payment will go through on my end.

I have had no problems with this store...but, recently I bought 6 packs of Dr. Pepper, and it was dated 2017!!

You know what to expect when you walk into a Dollar General. This locale is no different. I was pleasantly surprised to find 1 liter bottles of soda, name brand toothpaste, and a few grocery items that are typically much more expensive than $1. If you're looking to save a few bucks, there's nothing wrong with the typical American dollar store.
