This store is the absolute worse! The store manager Nathan is the rudest person I have ever encountered in any business! They advertise that they offer instore military discount which I as a veteran value but the past two times I've gone in to shop I was denied use of my military discount each time for a different reason. Mind you I've used my military discount there at that specific store many times in the past so I'm not sure what has changed. The store looked a mess. The employees were all standing up front talking amongst themselves not even acknowledging shoppers coming in. And Nathan the store manager was a part of that lol! I'm confused as to how corporate allows managers like this to run their stores. I definitely will NOT be shopping at this store again! I would give zero stars if possible

They have a decent selection of things but it's really difficult to find someone who isn't busy behind a cash register. You need at least one person on the floor or maybe a buzzer so someone knows you need help. I pretty much settled on an elliptical trainer but I couldn't find anyone anywhere in the store to help me with it. It weighs more than 200 pounds, so it would be better to get someone to help me to move it to the cash register. I actually saw a stack of the trainers I wanted and would have it in my home now but for the lack of finding someone available. Is this the way it is supposed to work? Do I order it at the checkout line? I'll do that if that is the way it's supposed to work. I just need to know.

So I would've never ever bought my two year old a two wheel bike WITHOUT training wheels until CHAZ! This guy was absolutely fabulous to my son and mother. He took the time and energy to even put together the bike & encouraged my son to try it out! Chaz is definitely going places. Thank you for being so personal & helpful we really appreciate it. and of course we ended up taking the bike home with us!!

Lady at checkout was rude. Asked for assistance, she commented, oh employees on break required by law.
Finally found what I was looking for on my own. Went to checkout, asked for woman's name. Cashier would not give it to me. Said I would not matter.

Went in to buy a pair of shoes and the worker recommended a great pair of Adidas. He was super helpful and friendly! Because of the worker's knowledge of the products and excellent customer service, I now have a new favorite pair of shoes! I will definitely come back in the future :)

*Taps mic* Hi, guys. Guess what? Dick's is great, because it's a one stop shop for any casual sports enthusiast's. Service at this location? Not so great.
Came in on a Saturday afternoon. First thing I see as I walk in is three employees with their backs to the door, conversing amongst themselves. I'm sure they've got plenty of staff walking the floors so they're taking turns being greeters. Except no one has taught these three grown ass men how to greet, yet.
Anyway, I couldn't find two of the particular items I was looking for. Also couldn't find a single employee walking the floors. I went to the front to ask a cashier. Low and behold, I see the same three grown ass men not understanding the concept of customer service as they continue conversing amongst themselves.
Seeing that the cashiers were busy, I approached one of the three men, and they brought me to one of the items I was looking for (conveniently, the item located closest to his posse circle). Told me to walk to the very back to ask some other guy for the other item. I told him I was just there and there wasn't anyone. They proceeded to page someone over.

My girlfriend and I came here to get a new pair of shoes. I held her Nike's as she went to the bathroom and I walked around to look for myself. I kept noticing a grown man who worked there following me and walk past me several times. I eventually stopped him and asked him where an item was, he looked me up and down, and told me to check the front. As my girlfriend and I walked up to the cash register, around 5-6 employees had their eyes on me and were making us feel very comfortable. Once we paid for the Nikes, a manager followed us into the parking lot. We got into our car and left but wondered why she watched us drive away.
I understand Dicks wants to prevent shoplifting from occurring, but I don't like

Just stood around at the shoe center (with a cane), waiting for help, while two associates stood around talking about injuries. These associates were five feet from me maybe, and I tried to engage them. Failed. This is why people shop online. I'll go to Amazon for the three pairs of sneakers I was about to buy.

Probably had one of the worst customer experiences here. The golf pro here was extremely rude. I asked for a basic procedure to be done on my clubs and I received so much hostility. I just wanted my clubs' loft and lie checked. It had been some time since I had then checked. The pro quoted the price to have them checked and changed. I asked him if there were a cheaper price since I'm just having them checked. He then told me, "How about this? Why don't you just go on Google and search up lofts and lies for your clubs and then there you have it." Then he later says, "If you bring your clubs by, I'll maybe check one or two depending how busy I am. I don't have time to help you out and do it for free." I won't likely go back to this or any other Dick's any time soon. I would give this store less stars if I could but the lowest I could go is 1 star.

They will steal your hunting gear!
I took my brand new crossbow up there and the lady who said she was a manager looked at it and said the archery people would look at it and fix it. She took my name and number and told me she would call when it was ready. She calls a few days later and says it was a manufacturers defect and they have to return it to the manufacturer. She said it would take a while to get back (which I was fine with). I called there and went by the store a couple of times to check on it over the next few months. They kept telling me it wasn't ready and they would take my name and number and would call me when it came.
Didn't hear anything for awhile and went up there again and they said they had no record of my crossbow ever being there. The store manager was rude and treated me like I was trying to steal from them. I will never shop at Dicks again and urge everyone to do the same.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
